Chance sensed Dir and Jasmine coming up fast. He chose his moment, now or never. He pushed himself, faster than he’d ever moved, leaping high in the air. Jase moved in closer. Chance saw Dir and Jasmine step near, but stop, each taking opposite sides of her. His body slammed into hers, flinging her over the top of Trevor’s prone body and onto the ground beyond. Everyone ran toward her. Olivia jerked herself onto her feet, but Chance was there, forcing her down. His paws stomped on her back, his jaws snapped around the back of her neck, pressing her down.

Dir, Jasmine, and Jase each grabbed one of her paws between their teeth and pulled her off balance. She lay on the ground breathing hard, growling and shaking.

“Get off me!”
Olivia snapped her jaws.

“No one let go of her. That’s an order.”
Chance couldn’t give her any opportunity of escape.

“My pack is calling for me, if I don’t go, they will come for me.”

“We are your pack, Olivia. You’re my mate.”
Chance pushed her head harder into the ground, looking for submission from her.
“You’re mine and I’m yours.”

“Take her Chance,”
Jase said.
“Mark her again in wolf form, that bastard won’t be able to call her.”

“I hate asking this of you all, but you’ll need to hold her down.”
Chance backed off her, moving lower, already aroused. She tried rising, shaking her legs, fighting the jaws of Chance’s pack.

They held her strong, until she whimpered. “
He is waiting for me.”

Chance licked her ear, and she growled and snapped. He walked around her backside and pushed her tail with his snout. To his surprise she tilted herself, getting into position for him. Without preamble he shoved himself into her, growing thicker and harder inside her passage as he pumped further and further into her. She startled, like a message prompted her movement, and again she attempted escape, but Chance completely covered her with his body.

“Mark her Chance. I think we should all mark her, so we can take a bit of her blood. At least we’ll be able to track her easier,”
Jasmine suggested.

“Yes, good idea. Everyone leave your mark on her. Make sure you ingest a little of her blood, but you all must give her a drop of your blood through your mark on her, before you seal the wound closed.”
Chance bit down on her shoulder as he ejaculated inside her. The other wolves bit her legs, above the knee joint. Olivia’s body shook uncontrollably and her breath came in shallow pants. Chance feared she might be going into shock. She still held him captive inside her passage. He wouldn’t shift until she relaxed and released him.

“Olivia, I love you,”
Chance said.
“Relax sweetheart. I’m taking you home.”

“We love you, too,”
Jasmine said, and Dir and Jase added their voices in pack communication.

Trevor crawled over, head down as if struggling with the decision to help.

“I need you now, Trev. Stay with us, buddy,”
Chance prompted.

Trevor moved in closer and left his mark on her only unmarked leg. Like the others, he bit himself and allowed a drop of blood to mingle with hers in the wound, and then he sealed her wound closed with a lick.

“You have no idea what you’ve just done to her. She belongs to my pack, not yours,”
Smoke said. His voice plowed into all of their heads, including Olivia’s, because of the blood ritual.

Olivia jerked, but all the wolves held her down. The muscles of her passage continued gripping Chance tight inside her.

“You’ll be lucky if she ever shifts back to human, not with the wolves she ingested from me,”
Smoke shouted inside their heads.

“You son-of-a-bitch, get out of her head and out of her life.”
Chance attempted pulling out of Olivia, but still couldn’t budge. Her tight passage kept him thick. Trevor howled, anger and frustration running rampant in his tone.

“You are the son of the same bitch,”
Smoke shot back. Everyone’s head snapped up, including Trevor’s.

“What did he just say?”
Trevor asked.

Chance rested his body over Olivia’s. His legs went too weak, his body melted on top of her. She wiggled beneath him. All of his pack gathered around them, pressing close.

Chance couldn’t go where Smoke shoved him, not that place, not the place Smoke conjured into Chance’s mind, into the minds of Chance’s whole pack.

He closed his eyes, feeling his cock pressed against Olivia’s inner walls. He grew thicker, stretching her. She tilted herself higher, and he responded, pumping deeper, a knot impaled inside Olivia. He saw each of his pack licking Olivia, welcoming her as part of the whole and accepting her as one of them. His second release came stronger than the first, deflating him enough to slide out of her.

“Olivia, remember what he did to your dog.”
Chance wanted her strong and willing to shift for him.

“He abducted and abused your best friend,”
Dir mentioned. Trevor belted out another howl, this one disheartened, almost hopeless.

“He hurt people from your village,”
Jasmine joined in.

“Olivia, he slaughtered your goat herd,”
Jase added.

Her shoulders trembled, another indication of her fragile state. Chance realized she sat on a proverbial fence, choosing which side to fall. He had to make sure she landed on his side.

“Olivia, think of you and I in bed together, beneath our sheets, embraced in each others arms. Hold me Olivia. I need you holding me. Tell me how much you love me, and I will tell you I love you, no one else, only you, forever. Our fingers will entwine, as will our hearts.”

The pack all shifted into human form together, sharing the way of it in a pack-mind communication of bone, muscle and tissue, all touching Olivia, showing their love and expressing it in a deep inner bond. Olivia followed their telepathic instruction.

She lay transformed and naked under Chance, and all of his pack lay around them, even Trevor, holding Olivia gently.

“Are you ready to go home and hold me in your arms, my love?” Chance kissed her shoulder, running his tongue along the seam of his newest mark and sending a shiver through her body.

Olivia turned her head toward him, tears trekking down her lovely face as she stared over her shoulder into his eyes. “Yes, please. Take me home.” Chance’s heart swelled at her words, and he realized moisture rolled down his face.

His pack slowly rose around them like flower petals opening to its center. Olivia’s violet gaze held Chance, and her eyes softened. With much effort, he rose from her and swept her up in his arms.

“It’s good to have you back, my love,” Chance whispered, claiming Olivia’s lips as his heart and his body acknowledged her life claim on him.

Big Girls Don’t Cry Wolf

Two hunky twin werewolves plus a rough-it-up rogue charge into Brea’s life, transforming her and her beliefs.

Excerpt:

Brea watched Grey’s truck drive down the dirt path until she couldn’t see it through the trees. She shivered, instantly missing the warmth of Grey’s body next to hers. She looked one more time down the path in case Grey changed his mind about leaving her.

Did I misread Grey’s intentions? Gads, I threw myself at him. Maybe he isn’t into oversized women after all. I’m such an idiot!

Brea stepped through the door of her little stone cottage. She’d never questioned her size before, always fit her just fine.
Not questioning it now either.
Right now she needed cozy. As crappy as she felt over Grey’s quick departure, her head throbbed like the residual effects of a hangover, but it didn’t hinder her from throwing a few logs into the fireplace. Once a nice flame got going, she absorbed the comfort of its warmth. She lay back on her divan in front of the beautiful stone hearth.

Brea pulled her favorite blanket with images of howling wolves over her and laid her head on a matching throw pillow. Her whole room reflected her love of wolves, through pictures, statues, lamp shades, and her shelves full of books about them. She needed their comfort right now to take away Grey’s rejection of her.

Brea closed her eyes for a moment, fighting an overpowering sadness.  Exhaustion finally pulled her into sleep.

* * * *

A haunting wolf howl crept into Brea’s dream. It wouldn’t stop; it was so loud…until Brea snapped awake. She sat up in darkness, not even embers glowed inside the hearth, moonlight streamed in through her sliding glass door with enough light to help her maneuver through the room. She went to the glass door to draw the curtains closed, but instead she was drawn to what lay beyond her porch.

Brea opened the door, stepped out, and walked over to the railing of her ground-level deck. She saw the light of the moon cut a path across the calm lake water to the sandy shoreline fifty feet away. Chilled damp air settled over her bare arms.

She glanced to the south tree line leading into miles of forest. Something shifted the shadows of the trees, maybe an animal hiding. She didn’t hear the rustle of dry leaves that usually accompanies animal movement in the forest.

A wolf howled a short distance from Brea. Its sound reverberated against the stone cottage wall behind her, sending a shiver from her skin into her bones. She knew wolves had been sighted a few miles away, but never at the resort. For as long as she’d lived in Northern Michigan, she’d never actually seen one. Now, she was about to have a very personal experience with one.

Brea had studied them enough to know not to move or she’d spook it. She heard it breathing and slowly turned to look. Wet, warm moisture carried on the slight breeze, settling on, around, and inside her.

The moon and all its light vanished behind an ominous cloud. Two glowing green orbs appeared to float in front of her. Somewhere in her consciousness she recognized the green eyes and the assailing breath.

A direct order, something she must do, jogged her memory, compelling her. She couldn’t look away. Her body became weightless, fluid and she wanted to follow. She moved forward, off the deck, following…following something that called her. She heard it and knew she must hurry.

Suddenly hands gripped her from behind, stopping her progress.

Another warm moist breath infiltrated her senses with the scent of pine, musk, and cloves. Her need to follow disintegrated like the ash of a spent campfire. Brea came awake in the middle of the forest. Strong arms wrapped around her waist.

“It’s alright, Brea. I think you were walking in your sleep.” Grey’s voice whispered through the layers of fog that began to break apart in her mind. “Brea, take a deep breath.”

Brea turned to face Grey.

“What…I’m…it’s night.” She couldn’t seem to grasp a total thought, other than being in the middle of the forest and in Grey’s arms. What was she doing here? What was he doing here?

Grey picked her up and carried her. She heard a wolf howl, so did Grey. He stopped and raised his face. Brea watched him sniff the air. She shrugged it off, her mind in no condition to make a judgment call of what he was doing, especially for something as strange as Grey sniffing the air.

The muscles in his arms tightened, squeezing her closer to him. He ran. How he could navigate through the trees in the darkness and carry her weight, Brea couldn’t fathom, but then her brain didn’t seem to be functioning with all lobes either. She closed her eyes and tucked her head into his shoulder, like a child in his arms, safe and loved.

Loved? Where did that come from?

Grey stepped onto Brea’s deck, walking through the open sliding glass door into her cottage.

“Gads, I left my door open?”

“Like I told you, I think you were walking in your sleep. Have you ever done that before?” Grey set Brea down on the divan and went back to the door to slide it closed. He switched on a small lamp in the corner and proceeded to re-build the fire in the hearth.

“I’ve never walked in my sleep that I’m aware of. I mean I’ve never woke up in the middle of the forest in the middle of the night. I guess I’m lucky you were there. Why were you there?”

Brea watched Grey’s sleek animal-like movements, stealthy, sure-footed, with muscles rippling. Again she saw him lift his head and sniff the air. His eyes glowed silver, reminding her of other glowing eyes and a shudder quaked down her body.

One Plus One

Lacinda and Blade discover more than sexual ecstasy on a lust-filled singles cruise. Winners can’t be losers.

Excerpt:

“Lacinda Gainesly,” a steward called her name. She saw the sign he held with her name printed in bright purple. She slipped on the first step leading down onto the ship and stumbled past the steward. The sign dropped from his fingers and his arms latched around her body from behind. His quick reflexes saved her face from biting the deck, but his hands cupped both of her breasts and squeezed. Lacinda threw her elbow back into his side.

“Hey, a little respect for the guy who saved your life.”

Lacinda shrugged out of his grasp. She met his gaze and realized this was the same man who picked her up from her hotel in a long black limo, only then he was dressed in black instead of the white uniform he now wore.

“You’re the driver.”

“I’m a lot of things, like possibly a hero.” His eyes looked as happy as his lips.

She noticed his smile, the same he shared earlier when he asked her questions about why she took the cruise quiz. Lacinda thought he was simply a driver for the cruise company so she shared some of her story. He knew about Alex dying in a car crash on the way to their wedding. She searched her memory for anything else she might have shared which could embarrass her later.
