“Ryan, I’ve wanted this for so long. You think you’re
protecting me, keeping me, I don’t know, pristine or something. But, honey, I
want this. I need this. Let me make you feel the same pleasure you give to me
every time you touch me.” She ran her fingers over his muscular thighs while
keeping her gaze trained on his. He needed to know that she wanted this. She
was ready for this next step.

His body relaxed, and she once again began to drop light
kisses down his torso, down the perfectly etched V under his hips and right to
the top of his erection. She heard his deep inhalation and looked up to see his
impassioned stare as he concentrated on her every move. She gently stroked his
cock with her small hand just before running her soft wet tongue over the
bulbous head of his shaft. She felt his body tense as she licked his length
like a Popsicle moistening him with her tongue just before sliding him into her
mouth as far as she could take him. She took the loud growl that erupted from
his throat as encouragement and continued on.

“My God, Princess, where the fuck?” Ryan’s thought went
unfinished as she slid him further in and out of her mouth, trailing the shaft
with her tongue. Each time she would get to the head of his dick she would
lightly use her teeth around the rim and then use the slightest amount of
suction to pull him back into her warm cavern. Her left hand pumped the length
of him in time with her generous sucks while her right hand gently cupped his
balls, caressing them with loving strokes.

“Ash, oh my…Ashley.” Ryan’s hoarse growl came out tense as
his body arched, pushing his length further into her mouth. “Ash, I’m gonna
come, honey. You need to move.”

She knew what was gonna happen, but she didn’t move. She
wanted what he was gonna give her and she craved it. She continued to suck him
deeply. Giving him pleasure was turning her on as well. She held on to his hips
even though he tried to push her away. With a loud groan, his orgasm flooded
her mouth, and she swallowed down every drop of his release. She could feel him
staring at her as she then licked his shaft clean and began to kiss her way up
his body.

He watched her completely speechless. She loved seeing that
look on his face: a look of utter satisfaction that could only come from
complete sexual gratification. She’d given that to him. Lost only for a moment
in her thoughts, she felt his calloused palms skim up the sides of her body as
he effortlessly shifted her onto the bed beneath him.

“Ash.”

Each shallow breath that escaped his mouth made her skin
tingle. She’d never felt more powerful, more seductive, more…alive. He parted
his lips and she waited for a compliment that never came. Instead, the words
that pierced the air around them felt like a dagger in her chest. “Where did
you learn to do that?”

At first, she thought his quiet tone was teasing but when
she saw his brows pull together and his nostrils flare she knew that his
question wasn’t a compliment. It was an accusation. A cool wave swept through
her belly and her shoulders tightened.

“What?”

If the high pitch of her response hadn’t conveyed how hugely
he’d fucked up then she was sure the way the sated bliss crumbled off of her
face did. Without waiting for a response she scrambled off the hotel bed and
started yanking on her clothes.

“Ash, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean—” He got off the bed and
stood behind her, reaching one hand out to touch her shoulder. She startled and
pulled away, turning around to face him.

“Yes. You. Did.” Her eyes glistened like diamonds with
unshed tears. “How could you, Ryan? Why would you ever think that I would be
with anyone else? What have I done to make you think so little of me?” She
crossed her hands over her upper arms rubbing away cold that hadn’t been there
just mere minutes ago. How could he have said that to her? How could he have
even thought it?

“Ash, I’m so sorry. I know that you would never hurt me. I
know it. It’s just I’ve been feeling a little jealous lately…and then you give
me the world’s greatest fucking blow job. I know that we’ve never done that
before. And you’ve never been with anyone before me…” Ryan’s words were coming
out jumbled, his explanation weak, but she stood there silently while he
continued on. “The earlier scene with Jayson, and you spending so much time
with Scott, I guess it just scared me.”

“Why are you scared, Ry? Tell me. Because right now I have
no idea what you’re talking about.” She mindlessly rubbed the ache in the
center of her chest. Her mind buzzing in confusion as to what the hell had just
happened. She just gave him something so special and so sacred, and he accused
her of betrayal? Her emotions swirled in her mind… fear, heartache, and anger.

“Ashley, Scott is into you. He has been for a while now. It
used to bother me because I wanted you too, but I didn’t think I would ever be
lucky enough to have your love in return. But now that we’re together, knowing
how much he likes you makes me…okay, I’ll say it, uncomfortable. No. Jealous.
Not to mention I’ve heard that since we’ve been gone he’s upped his game trying
to steal you away from me.”

She couldn’t hold back the humorless laugh that bubbled out
of her. Judging by his tense stance and furrowed brow, Ryan must really believe
what he’d said. But she knew Scott James. He was just a friend. They worked
together and had classes together—that was all.

“Ryan, that’s absurd! Scott knows I only like him as a
friend. He knows I love you. Everyone at our school knows it. It seems the only
person who doesn’t know it is
you
!”

Frustration nipped at her gut. Why did she feel like she
needed to prove herself to him all of a sudden? Ryan had always been the one
person—other than Leo—that believed in her. That loved her for exactly who she
was. She felt a small ache in the middle of her chest. It was disappointingly
familiar. It was an ache that resulted from her parent’s indifference. She
recognized it. She was used to it from them.

But never from Ryan.

Ryan hated that she wouldn’t look at him when she spoke. He
hated that he’d hurt her. Watching her rub the center of her chest nearly
brought him to his knees. That was her tell. She didn’t even know she did it
but whenever Ashley and Leo’s parents let them down, she would run the edge of
her thumb up and down the middle of her sternum. It was almost as if she was
trying to rub away the physical pain. He hated her parents every time he saw
her do that, and now he hated himself.

“Ryan, I don’t want Scott. But I’m not going to stand here
and defend myself for crimes that only exist in your head. Okay, so I gave you
a great
fucking
blow job—do you know how? Because I read a ton of books.
Yes, Ryan, studious Ashley taught herself how to give a blow job. And guess
what, you loved it. And I loved doing it to you.”

The first pregnant tear inched down her cheek, tearing
Ryan’s guts to pieces as he watched it fall. “Now, I trust you,” she continued.
“I trust you out there on the road with all of those girls throwing their bras
and panties at you, but you need to trust me too. Please!”

He just stared mutely at her. Using the palm of her hand she
wiped away the droplets that coursed down her face.

“Well? Are you going to say anything?” Her back straightened
as she inhaled deeply, pulling herself back together. He’d always admired how
impenetrable she could be when she needed to be. Ashley was able to tuck away
her feelings in the blink of an eye so that no one could ever see that she was hurting.
She’d never been an ordinary girl nor had she become an ordinary woman. While
Ryan had spent years marveling that very trait, right now he needed to know if
he could get her forgiveness. “Or are you taking a vow of silence to avoid
acting stupid in the future,” she snapped.

“Ash, I really am sorry.” He lifted his palms in surrender
waiting to see her reaction. She moved closer to him, extending her hand to his
bare shoulder. At her soft touch, his heart began to beat faster. “I honestly
never meant to hurt you. I know that you would never cheat on me. I know that
you love me. Christ,” He smiled devilishly. “I felt it just a few minutes ago.”
Nothing melted him more than seeing the pale pink blush of her cheeks when he
said something suggestive. She was still so new to all things sexual and he
loved being the guy to lead her into this life.

“But, I gotta say, Princess”—his brow cocked with humor—“the
thing that surprises me the most—more than the sweet kisses, more than the
smoking hot blow job, even more than the fact that you let me come in your
mouth, the thing that just rocked my world—you just dropped the f-bomb. Really,
Ash? I thought cussing was for ‘people with a limited vocabulary’?”

Ryan’s joke seemed to break the tension in the air.
Giggling, Ashley’s body eased, her shoulders relaxed and her smile became
genuine. “Hmm, let’s just say, I’m beginning to re-evaluate that line of
thinking. Dropping the f-bomb felt really good in
that
moment.”

Even though the mood had lightened, Ryan knew the damage
that he had caused and it was eating him up inside. “Ash, please forgive me.”

“It’s already forgotten, honey. Let’s move on. I would love
to go and see Leo and I can’t wait for the show tonight. Will you end the set
with,
Deep Dark Kiss
?”

“Yes,” he growled. “And I intend to end the night with a
deep dark kiss too.”

Pulling her close he cupped her head and kissed her hard and
deep.

She Let Go

“RYAN, HONEY,” ASHLEY moaned,
“stop.” They were lying naked on the hotel bed, their bodies tangled in the sheets.
A light sheen of perspiration coated her skin and her body hummed with
satisfaction. Despite just coming down from a mind-bending orgasm, Ryan was
between her long, toned legs, building her up to another one.

She ran her fingers through his hair and tugged. Hard. When
he lifted his face, unadulterated lust and hunger filled in his eyes. The
evidence of her previous release glistened on his lips as his tongue jetted out
and worked the sensitive nerves. Her body felt like a coiled spring chasing the
impending orgasm she had no doubt he would give her. She trembled with desire.

“Ry, I’m leaving in just a few hours and we won’t see each
other until December. Please, make love to me. I know you want to romance me
and make it special, but
this
is special. I love you and I want this so
much. I…I…feel like I’m going to explode with want for you.”

His grin was equal parts loving and devilish, “Oh, Princess,
I am gonna make you explode…
again
. Just hold on tight.” As he went to
lower his head she stopped him, her desperate stare expressing the severity of
her desire.

This time, he lifted up to his knees. “Baby, listen to me.
If you think for one second that I don’t want to be with you then you’re out of
your mind. I’ve been dying to sink into your sweet body since that first night
we kissed in your parents’ pool. But you’re right, Ash, that would be sex, and
while that’s gonna be fucking hot that’s not what I want for us.”

His eyes penetrated her as he continued, “At least not the
first time. You may be a virgin but I’ve never had sex with a girl I loved
before.” Ashley watched as Ryan’s face flushed.

“Ryan Baker, are you blushing?”

He ran his hands over his warm cheeks and shrugged his
shoulders. “Look, I know you’re ready to take this to the next level—and trust
me when I say I am too. But I love you, Ash. And, well, I guess I just want to
wait until I know that we’ll have weeks or months to be able to explore this,
once we finally do it. You know that I’ll give you anything. I’ll give you
everything
.
I’ll even do as you ask—right here, right now—if that’s what you want, but I’m
asking you to wait until December. It doesn’t have to be your birthday. We can
do it the night I get home. But there’s just no way that I…I can finally claim
you that way and then watch you get on a plane and…and leave me.”

Ashley actually felt a weight sitting on her chest. The guy
who was always so smooth with the words, so quick with the comeback, was
actually stumbling through his appeal. How could she turn down that request?
How could she say
no
to that magnificent plea?

“Okay, Romeo, let’s wait. But only until the night you get
home though because after that little speech, I want you even more. God, I
think I almost came…
again
!”

“Well, Princess, I think we both know I have no problems making
that happen.” Ryan shifted his weight and lowered his head, but Ashley squeezed
her thighs together, preventing him from moving any further.

“Honey…” The hesitation in her voice was there but she
pushed it back, hiding it underneath her bravado. “During my blow job inquiries
I read about something else.”

His questioning gaze set off butterflies in her belly. She
shrugged before saying, “And since we’re kind of pressed for time, why don’t I
show you want I learned? We can kill two birds with one stone.”

Ryan’s brows lifted in question but it was his sexy smirk
that had the butterflies taking flight in the pit of Ashley’s belly. It was one
thing to read about things of this nature, but it was something completely
different when suggesting them to the most devastatingly handsome man she ever
met. Collecting her nerve, she pulled in a lungful of air and took a leap of
faith.

“Lay on your back, Ry.” She climbed astride his broad body
and faced his feet. Bending down to suck on his long, hard shaft, she nestled
her core back up to his lips. The deep groan that left Ryan’s mouth assured her
that he liked her suggestion. Even more so, the way that he feasted on her
assured her that she had read
all
the right books.

Wrapping her arms and legs around him like a monkey climbing
a tree, Ashley hugged Leo with all her strength. “I love you, sis.” His body
shook with laughter as he placed huge kisses on the top of her head. “Hey, Ash,
I’m having a hard time breathing.” He faked breathlessness as he struggled to
put her down.

“Leo, I hate leaving you. I hate it.”

As she feigned her tantrum Leo turned to Ryan and said,
“Always been so damn stubborn, my sister. Look how she acts when you try to
take her favorite toy away.”

The two men laughed as Ashley pouted. Leo swept her into
another hug and kissed her head again. She loved this gesture—a gesture that
was solely Leo’s. When he did it she felt alive, needed, loved, and never
alone.

When he replied, “Ash, I hate leaving you too. I do,” she
knew that he wasn’t just paying her lip service. Their relationship was the
strongest bond either of them had ever made and being apart was just as painful
for him as it was for her. They’d already decided that he would move to
whatever state she went to for college. If the band became popular he would be
traveling a lot, but he wanted his home base to be wherever she was.

“This tour is only seven more weeks. We’ll talk every day
and before you know it, I’ll be home.” His smile deepened when he jabbed Ryan
in the chest. “I’ll even bring this guy with me.”

“Yeah, like you could keep me away,” Ryan muttered, his
mouth turned up in a sexy grin. “My turn, man. You may wanna go check on your
sister’s flight or something because this here will melt your eyeballs.”

“My cue to leave. Call me when you land, sis. I love you.”
Leo turned away quickly but not quick enough to hide his huge grin.

“Come closer, Princess.” Their bodies pressed tightly
together, she could feel his heart beat pounding through his clothes. His scent
surrounded her as she buried her nose into his chest and inhaled deeply. He
immersed his face in her hair, “I love how you always smell like sunshine and
coconuts, Ash. Everywhere you are is home to me.” God, how could those words
not undo her?

“I’ll miss you the most of all, Scarecrow,” she joked
referencing her favorite childhood movie, The Wizard of Oz, just before
pressing her lips to his. “But, honestly, Ryan, walking away from you just
feels wrong. It makes me sad inside.”

The smile faded from her face and the beautiful glow from
their sexy morning together had gone dim. She no longer felt warm and cozy.
Leaving Ryan and her brother left her feeling hollow and cold. “I know it’s
just seven more weeks, but it feels like an eternity.”

“You know, if business school doesn’t work out, you could
always try your hand at acting. You’ve got drama all figured out, Princess.”
She knew what he was doing. His pasted on smile didn’t reach his eyes and his
grip tightened just a little bit more. She loved that he was trying to lighten
the mood even though she could see that their separation was painful for him as
well.

“Yeah, well, you should definitely keep your day job, Romeo,
because your acting skills suck.” Ryan smiled warmly as he squeezed Ashley
tighter.

“Alright, Ash, your gate is all the way at the other end of
the airport, so you better go. Call me when you land. I love you, babe.”

“Bye Ry,” she blew him a kiss, threw her backpack over her
shoulder and headed to her plane.

Had she known how long it would be before she got to hold
him in her arms again, she would have held on just a little longer, but she
didn’t. She let go.
