“I understand, Lex.”

“Sir. You’ll call me Sir for the
rest of the evening.” He corrected gently.

“Sir.” She agreed, smiling up at
him.

A breath of air hissed from
between his teeth and he smiled back, “Fuck that sounds good coming from you. Now,
I have to collect a few things before we can find someplace more private. I don’t
usually participate at these parties anymore, so I didn’t bring my own bag.”

When he turned and began to lead
her down the hallway, she resisted and frowned at their connected hands, “Wait,
Lex-er-Sir, I mean. Don’t you have to give me a bracelet?”

Lex froze and she was staring at
the back of his head for a moment before she realized that he wasn’t angry. He
was trying hard not to laugh. When he turned back around he gave her a tight
hug and kissed the crown of her head as he snickered.

“Hey! It’s not funny. I’m new to
this, and you said you were an open book.” She pouted a bit, tugging her hand
free of his.

“Tell me again, how you ended up
at this party tonight, princess?” Lex asked sounding both exasperated, and
amused.

“Killian invited me. Well, I sort
of begged and pleaded, but he did ultimately put me on the guest list,” she
explained, still a little pouty over his laughter. It wasn’t like there were
safeword guidelines. Right? Had she missed that part in the paperwork because
she was so flummoxed over the waiver of bodily harm?

“That’s right, Killian. Have you spoken
to him yet this evening?”

She shook her head, “No, but in
all fairness I’ve been rather preoccupied.”

Lex looked around and then smiled
wider, “Right, this particular part of the house is just full of distractions.
I think before I steal you away for the evening we’d better find Killian.
Something tells me he didn’t intend for you to hook up here tonight.”

“Why would he care? He’s not my
boss.”

Lex flinched, “No, but he’s mine,
and he’s also one of my closest friends.”

“Killian’s your boss?”

He nodded as he began leading her
farther into a part of the house she hadn’t checked out yet.

“What do you do for him?” she
prodded when he stayed quiet.

“I fly his plane.”

“You’re a pilot?” she didn’t mean
for it to sound like such a strange thing, but it really caught her off guard.
She imagined him at the helm of a pirate ship, not a 747. She immediately had
visions of him wearing a pilot’s hat and her loins fired up like a campfire had
just been lit between her thighs. He would look like sin in a pilot’s uniform.

“That’s usually who flies the
plane,” he teased, making her blush. If only he knew where her thoughts were he
might not tease her so much. “I’ve been flying his corporate jet for the last
four years. It was more lucrative to work for him than for the airline I’d been
with for a decade, and my schedule is more flexible, so I have more time for
Kaia.”

“It just surprised me. How do you
deal with your daughter when you have to travel?”

“She has a nanny who’s been with
us since she was born, so she’s fine while I’m gone.” Lex answered, “I’m not
even sure she notices me missing anymore. Lately she’s been more interested in
going to the mall with her friends than spending time with her dad.”

“Oh.”

 His eyebrow rose in
question, but before she could say more, the man they were looking for appeared
in the doorway of an office, zipping his fly. Behind him, a voluptuous blonde
woman in the arms of another man was dabbing her lips with a tissue.

“Killian?” She didn’t know
whether she was surprised at his sudden appearance, or by what he’d obviously
been doing.

“Oh, Marley! You made it!”
Killian said, beaming back at her. His blond-streaked brown hair was stylishly
tousled, and his green eyes were warm as he gave her a one-armed hug. “Are you
enjoying the party?”

“I am. Lex has been kind enough
to take me under his wing for the evening.” She was taken aback when Killian’s
face turned white as a ghost, and he frowned at Lex over her shoulder.

“Lex?” His normally easygoing
demeanor was suddenly stiff. “How did you two meet?”

“Here. You could say he
seduc—”

“It was purely chance, Killian. I
noticed her when she walked in the room, but I had no idea she was one of yours
when I introduced myself.” Lex interrupted her, acting as though she needed
Killian’s permission to continue to see him.

“I’m not one of his anything!”
she snapped crossing her arms over her chest in frustration.

A wicked look crossed Killian’s
face, and he smiled. “No, you’re not Marley, but only because I’m otherwise
engaged. Under normal circumstances it would be a terrible form of disrespect
for Lex to hit on you when you’re here at my invitation.”

“But you…I mean…you and I aren’t…
well, we’re just not.” She finally said with a harrumph.

“And I’m relieved to hear it.”
Lex assured her, pressing a kiss to her temple.

“So am I if it counts for
anything.” The blonde woman said from behind Killian.

“Alana, dear, Marley is the new
submissive I was telling you about. She’s the graphic artist working on our
campaign for Alla-Core. We’ve been
friends
for years, nothing more. No
need to be jealous, love.” Killian held his hand out for Alana, and she
immediately moved to his side and dropped to her knees next to his feet. His
hand found her hair and he stroked her as if she were a house cat. “Marley these
are my partners, Doug and Alana Davis. And Lex, you already know each other I
believe.”

“Of course. Congratulations on
your recent…explorations.” Lex said politely, drawing Marley’s curiosity again.
She knew that it somehow had something to do with Killian when all three people
exchanged looks amongst themselves before returning his smile.

“Lex, can we talk for a moment
alone?” Killian said. Gone were the pleasantries, his tone was firm, as though
it wasn’t really a question so much as a demand, and he and Lex moved off to
the side, leaving Marley to face the couple alone.

“Would you like a glass of
sherry, Marley?” Alana said, moving to the small bar on one wall to retrieve
the alcohol.

“No, thank you. I’m not much of a
drinker.” She paused and then asked, “So, is Killian usually in the role of
bodyguard, or is that something new just for me?”

Alana giggled, and Doug tried to
cover a snort of laughter, “He’s pretty protective of people he cares about.
Don’t take it the wrong way.”

Marley nodded to Doug, “I’ll keep
that in mind and try not to read him the riot act for interfering in something
that’s not his business.”

“That’s where you’re wrong.” Doug
said, shaking his head. “He’s the owner of the house, the Master of the
parties, and in this case, boss to both of you. I guarantee it’s his business.
Lex was right to get approval first.”

“That’s an interesting
perspective. Almost caveman-like. I’ll have to watch out for Lex’s club when he
comes back to carry me off.”

Alana chose that moment to rejoin
their conversation, “I’ve always wondered about that man’s club…”

Marley might have gotten jealous
if it weren’t for the wink Alana gave her over her glass of sherry. “I’ll get
back to you on that once I’ve done further research.” She joked, relaxing a
little. “So you’re Killian’s business partners?”

“I am, yes. Alana is a full-time domestic
goddess, and I thank God every day for her.” Doug answered, kissing his wife on
the cheek.

“Domestic goddess?” Marley asked
with a frown.

“Meaning I don’t have a career
per se. I keep track of all of the charitable organizations that Doug and
Killian are part of. It sounds boring, but they keep me on my toes.” Alana
said, just as Killian and Lex returned to them looking much more comfortable
with each other.

“Marley, I can’t say that Lex
would have been my first choice, but I won’t interfere if you’re comfortable
with him.” Killian reached out for Alana, and drew her back against his chest.
He confirmed that Doug was a part of their dynamic by stroking his hand up the
other man’s back to the nape of his neck in a possessive hold similar to the
one Lex had on her earlier.

She hesitated and turned her head
to meet Lex’s bright blue eyes. He didn’t look concerned about her answer at
all. In fact, he looked confident that he already knew what it would be. Trying
not to be rankled by his confidence, or the unusual threesome in front of her,
she faced Killian again and said, “Yes, Sir. I am.”

“Good. Lex, as I said, she’s near
and dear to my heart. We’ve known each other for years, so if you mess this
up...” Killian’s words drifted off and he looked at Lex expectantly.

“You have my word that she’ll
come back in one piece, Killian. She intrigues me.” Lex said as he slid his
fingers into Marley’s hair at the nape of her neck just as Killian was doing to
Doug. She shivered under the seductive warmth of his palm.

“I even have a safeword; it’s
Starbucks
.”
she interjected, wincing when Lex squeezed her neck tightly at her
interruption.

Killian laughed loudly, and she
could see both Alana and Doug trying to cover their laughter. A blush of
embarrassment crept up her cheeks and she dropped her head to stare at her
feet. It was just her luck that she was completely surrounded by experienced
Dominants and submissives. No one seemed to remember what it was like to be new
to this crazy ball game.

Feeling thoroughly embarrassed,
she kept quiet while Killian and Lex discussed some sort of bag of toys that
Lex felt he needed for the evening. Doug left the room for a few moments and
returned with a large black duffel bag and two bottles of water which he handed
to Lex.

The moment the items were in his possession,
Lex said goodbye, and led her from the room like the devil himself was hot on
their heels. She remained silent as they made their way upstairs to the second
level of the home, and into a private bedroom. Lex shut and locked the door
behind him, and then turned to face her dropping the duffel to the floor, with
the water bottles on top.

Chapter 4

H
e didn’t give her a chance to change her mind.
Lex just grabbed her, and spun her against the door. She gasped, but he knew
she wasn’t hurt. Not with his hand in between her and the door to protect her
from impact.

Without any preamble, he captured
her mouth with his, and pushed his tongue into her depths. He tasted her, and
teased her until she was soft and pliable against him. Reaching up he cupped
her breasts, and groaned his pleasure into her mouth when he felt her hard
nipples against his palms. When their lips separated he snarled the words, “Say
it.”

Her lips were plump and
shimmering wet from their kiss as she stared up at him with those big brown doe
eyes. “What?”

Words failed him as the building
pressure in his balls sent a growl rumbling out of his mouth. He pinched her
nipples hard to test her pain tolerance, pleased when she didn’t pull away. The
discomfort registered in her eyes, but she didn’t tell him to stop, or slow
down.

“Please?” she whispered. When he squeezed
her nipple again and continued to stare at her pointedly, she tried again, “Please,
Sir?”

That was the magic word. It was
the okay for every dirty sordid thing he wanted to do to her this evening. How
one night would ever be enough with her, he had no idea, but he was sure as
hell going to make the most of it.

“On your knees, princess. We’re
going to see how well you did your research. Do you know what the submissive
pose is?” he took a step backwards to give her enough room to slide to the
floor.  Kneeling, she sat back on her heels with her knees shoulder-width
apart. As her skirt inched higher, she dropped her head, and clasped her hands
behind her back, making her full, firm tits lift and beckon to him. Knowing her
ripe nipples were probably red from his teasing made his mouth water.

He nudged her knee with his foot,
“Not quite, my sweet sub. Spread your legs more so that I can better see what’s
mine. That’s right. Every delicious inch of you is mine for the night, and I
want to see all of you.”

The way her cheeks turned bright pink
was adorable, but he was boiling hot inside. He needed to release some pressure
for both of them before he could truly play with her.

Watching closely, he could almost
see the thoughts and emotions going through her mind. She hesitated, and then started
as she came to her decision. Nervous energy and sexual tension collided between
them as her legs slowly inched apart, and her skirt crept higher. A scrap of
black satin appeared and his mouth watered at the distinct wet spot on the
fabric.

The proof her desire was enough
to make him lose his mind. He wondered what her reaction would be if he shoved
those panties in her mouth and fucked her here on the floor.

“Panties are the worst invention
ever created.” He grumbled, squatting down in front of her, and tipping her
chin up with one finger so that their eyes met. “I’ll take care of that problem
soon enough. Look at me, princess.”

When she finally did, he could
see the sheen of her unshed tears, and he felt like an utter bastard. She was
still new to this, and he was letting his inner Neanderthal get out of hand. “Ah
shit, we need to talk first don’t we? Damn it. I’m no good at training new subs.”

Her head dipped and he heard her
sniffle. It broke his heart. Reaching for her, he lifted her off her knees and
into his arms. Thankfully, she didn’t fight him. She just wrapped her arms
around his neck as he carried her across the room to the bed, and took a seat
with her firmly in his lap. She wiggled a little to get comfortable with his
hard-on pressing against her ass, and he hissed out a breath.

“Whoa there, warrior princess! You
don’t want to cut off the circulation to that before we get to the fun part of
the evening,” he teased, relieved when she smiled a little. “Okay, let’s start
over. You asked about bracelets, and the truth is, I don’t see the need for
them unless we’re downstairs. I prefer privacy when I play, and in here, there
is only one Dominant”—he pointed to his chest before pointing to hers—”and
one submissive. No need for bracelets to make that clear. At the next event, I’ll
make sure you have a bracelet with my name on it…er…well, if we play together
again, I mean. As for limits, you’re right; I need to know what your hard
limits are before we start.”

She stared back at him
thoughtfully, the tears and fears seemingly gone from her eyes now, replaced by
a seriousness that belied their unique situation. “Um…I know the basics. No
scat, no kids, no animals, and um...well, I have one rather unusual one.”

“And that is?” he asked,
narrowing his eyes on her as she shifted her perfect ass over his erection again.

“No ropes,” she whispered.

“I’m sorry; did you say ‘no ropes’?”
he asked, surprise making his tone much harsher than he meant it to be. When
she flinched he asked again, “Do you mean no ropes, as in you don’t like the
feeling of rope material, or you don’t want to be bound?”

“The binding part. I’m
claustrophobic. The idea of being tied up scares me. I’m afraid I’ll have a panic
attack and you—or whoever—wouldn’t be able to get me untied fast
enough.”

She really sounded terrified; Lex
had never come into contact with a submissive who was scared of being bound. In
fact, in almost all of his scenes he used some form of bindings, whether it was
scarves, or ropes, or cuffs.

“Okay, no tight bindings. What
about holding you down?” he asked.

She looked thoughtful, “I think
that’s all right. I mean I don’t really know for sure, but if you’re holding me
down, then I know you can let me up quickly if I panic, right?”

“Absolutely.”

Nodding, Marley swallowed hard
and her mouth opened as if to say something else before she snapped it shut
again.

“What is it?” She shook her head,
and her eyes darted away from his instead of answering him. Sighing heavily, he
shook his head. “So that’s how it’s going to be?”

Her face grew even paler and her
delicate freckles stood out on her nose. “Wait, what?”

“If you can’t even talk to me,
then this will never work, princess. I don’t want to keep circling the same
topics. It’s a waste of time for both of us. We’re adults, so tell me what’s
bothering you, or just put an end to this.” Lex was feeling emotionally
exhausted and his balls were turning blue. If she couldn’t get past this
emotional barrier there was no possible way for a scene to work with her.

“Okay, you’re right. I’m sorry. I’m
closing myself off to you and that’s unfair. The truth is I’ve never tried
anything anal. I wasn’t sure if that was an appropriate limit, so I didn’t say
anything.”

Lex cocked his head and shifted in
his seat to give his balls more room in his slacks. Fuck, just hearing the word
anal from her pretty lips made him hard as a rock. “Anything can be an
appropriate limit; only you can choose those. Are you saying you never want to
try anything anal?”

“No...maybe...I don’t know, but I
know that it takes preparation and you need to know that I’m a virgin in that
way.” She had that self-righteous haughty tone back in her voice, and he
grinned wickedly, absorbing the challenge.

“You’re a virgin to many things,
princess, but after tonight most of those virginities will belong to me. So say
it now if your ass if off limits, because unless I’m given a hard limit I’m
going to push you as far as I can. Probably beyond where you’re comfortable.”

She flushed and took a deep
breath. “Can we call it a soft limit?”

Lex couldn’t hold in the loud
laugh, it echoed through the room, and eased the tension between them. “Soft
limit it is. If I think you’re ready, I’ll test your limits, but princess, I
have no desire to hurt you or scare you away. So, now that we’ve talked this
all out, are you going to play ball, or safeword out?”
