Many of Si’s quotes involve resting and taking a break. He’s actually right. Your schedules may be packed full of the things you need to accomplish, but do you have time for family? For friends? For relaxation? For meditation? Perhaps a cold drink and a sandwich? If you didn’t have one of those previously mentioned, then modify your list and include them. Your body could only take so much so you should take time to rest and have a break. Stressing yourself out is not the answer to all your problems. It makes the problems even worse as you worry and feel rushed.
Don’t worry, everything will still be there after taking that well-deserved break.
He doesn’t know why he’s famous.
The show Duck Dynasty has had astronomical viewer ratings for so long now. However, Uncle Si, undoubtedly the most favorite character, still can’t seem to figure out why he’s famous.
Why is Si so popular among the audiences?
Well, for sure, it’s not because of his beard. He doesn’t really have impressive beard hygiene like his other nephews. Willie even referred to it as “nasty” – they don’t even know when the last time Si actually treated his beard.
But Si says he has a feeling why people love him. He says it’s maybe because he’s still a kid-at-heart. He’s 65, but he acts like he’s 10. He simply refuses to grow up. Si lives his life freely and enjoys every moment of it. It’s something that most of us wish we could do, but we always feel that we have too much “responsibilities” or “things to do”. We refuse to let go of our busy lives. Si, on the other hand, is a breath of fresh air.
On a more serious note, he shared his opinions on why Duck Dynasty was popular. He said it’s because it’s built on strong values, and the show featured wholesome, loving people. They are also never afraid to show their faith in God – and that’s what separates them from all the other famous reality shows that use sexual innuendos and other inappropriate topics to attract viewers.

America loves Si Robertson and the rest of the Robertson family because they are real. As you can see, reality shows aren’t exactly honest for the most part, but in their case, they showcase the humility and the humor of a true, loving American family.
Silas Robertson’s life is anything but dull, and he’s still adding more experiences to share in his stories. People can’t just seem to get enough of him, and perhaps after you’ve read this, you now understand why.
It’s either you are annoyed by Silas Robertson’s antics or you’re completely amazed by his character. Regardless of your opinion towards Duck Dynasty’s favorite uncle, you’ll agree that he is indeed a unique individual, and the show without him is anything but complete.
Si and his family only grow stronger each day, and that’s something that everybody could adapt and learn from. They’re more than just entertainment – they’re an excellent living example of how an American family should be.
