Nakáda:

The heartland of the lionmen. It is here they are still said to be savage. They reject friendship from all except their neighbours: the lionmen of Bohaníde and the humans of Isradia. They fight with guerrilla warfare and only concern themselves with the outside world if it threatens themselves or their gods. As savage as they may appear they are a restrained people, rarely leaving their country but always willing to open their doors to those in need.

Bohaníde:

The oldest nation of Lionmen outside of Nakáda. This was the first place settled by early wandering tribes. Lionmen are not adventurous by nature. Most only migrate when under great pressure. Bohaníde eventually grew into a powerful and stable nation and even took in Afradian and human refugees during great wars. They are also the only nation that had Afradian cities living under their rule.

Keirth-Árim:

The cultural and political heartland of Difrun, both loved and loathed. It once was an Afradian land before it was given to great human warlords and eventually dominated by Lionmen. It heralded many ages of prosperity and war, second only in sacredness to Endaran. The Kerith-Árim Lionmen pride themselves in being the centre of justice. They control, to a degree, most of the countries and under Lionmen rule they brought peace to much of the land, ending the great wars.

Afradians:

An extinct species, said to be godlike in nature and human in appearance. They were believed to the servants of the lion brother gods, who gave up their position in heaven to live on the jewel of creation. They once ruled the lands and held many great and terrible wars. They were grand leaders but emotionless and ruthless in their rule. They were revered for the powers and greatness but also feared for their detachment. The Afradians slowly gave their positions of power to the humans and lionmen, guiding them to rule in their place and counselling them. They then faded into history along with the dragons; leaving behind ancient monuments and great deeds.

Science and Space Facts

3.1 Neals Star/HIP 56948

Constellation: Draco

Star Stats: Solar Twin

Spectral Type: G5V

Temperature: 5,730 K

Distance: 220 ±10 light years

Mass: 0.994 ± 0.004

Luminosity: 1.15

Facts: Known as a solar twin (the star is very similar to the Sun) Gas giants are all smaller than Jupiter with a single asteroid belt. Moon: Clarkes Moon from Earthmen, Yaulma ‘One who Watches’ in the native tongue.

3.2 Casader/Iraquis:

Mass: 6.391752×1024kg (1.07M
Earth
)

Radius: 6,504.714072km (1.02 R
Earth
)

Gravity: 10.07819655m/s
2
(1.03×Earth)

Orbit: 349.2531 days

Rotation: 26.125 hours

Average Density: 5.543 g/cm
3

Facts: Has a single natural satellite much like the Earth’s moon. Both bodies are gravitationally locked with the planet and moon always having the same face pointing at each other.  Though the moon is smaller than Earth’s it is a lot closer and is roughly four times greater in the sky, it is also within Iraquis magnetic field, allowing it to maintain a very fine atmosphere, similar to Mars.

3.3 Yaulma/Clarkes Moon:

Mass: 5.8003656×1022kg (0.0097M
Earth
  & 0.78941M
Moon
)

Radius: 1,605.032647km (0.25193R
Earth
  & 0.92397R
Moon
)

Orbit: 26.125 hrs

Rotation: 26.125 hrs

Distance: 46,273.33092 km from Iraquis.

Angular Diameter:  1° 59’ 11.616”

Average Density: 3.349 g/cm
3

Other: Appearance is very similar to the Earth Moon with a very similar colour and composition. The only real difference from the planet’s perspective is its relatively size and a slight hazy outline due to the thin atmosphere.

3.4 Dífran Time:

Casader Hours: Iraquis day is 2 hours longer than an Earth day. Their hour is split into 8 parts and is in relation to the phases of the moon, this method of timekeeping was first developed in Endaran and all of Dífran have adopted it. It is unknown who invented it, some say Human, some Afradian and others Dragon.

Each moon hour is split into 4 segments (secondary hours): the first named after the hour, the second Tarn, the third Dain and the fourth Shyd. Each moon hour is approximately 3:15 Earth hours and each hour segment is 48.75 minutes.

3.4.1 Casader Minutes and seconds:

As an hour is divided into 8, the timekeeping system uses a factor of 4: 4 secondary hours, 40 Casader minutes within a secondary hour, and 40 Casader seconds within a Casader minute.

1 Casader minute = 1.21875 Earth Minutes.

1 Casader second = 1/40 Casader minute = 1.828125 Earth Seconds.

Technically the Western Front Empire is an Asymmetric Federation. It once held the British Monarch as a figurehead, but dispensed with them when the line was broken in a ‘space accident.’ England crowned a new queen but the Empire segregated and became purely democratic, but still retained its name. It is often referred to as an Empire, Federation and Union by its citizens often creating confusion to outsiders.
