. Mother of St
Augustine of Hippo
. A cult of St Monica began in the Middle Ages. In 1430 her relics were transferred to Rome, to the church of S. Agostino. She is frequently patron saint of associations of Christian mothers. Feast day, 27 Aug.
Monism

The belief that only one substance exists, in contrast to pluralism. Monistic religions are therefore those which maintain that there is only one underlying substance

Advaita
Vedanata is thus monistic, in contrast to
