Pratyekabuddha

li Pacceka). In Buddhism, one who attains the condition next to that of
arhat
entirely on his own. He has no teacher and does not belong to the
sa
gha
, and he makes no attempt to communicate his way or his attainment to anyone else. He is therefore known as the Solitary or Silent Buddha, and is described as ‘a lonely rhinoceros’.
