“Nick! No! It is not going to happen. You are an ass and I don’t want to forgive you, I can’t forgive you.” She throws my towel back at me. “Cover up, because no matter how good you look I’m not giving in.” She smiles, walking out of the room.

“Damn it!” I throw the towel and try to think of something that will work.

“So, how is your romancing going?” Ryan laughs as I groan and sit.
Funny. Real funny.
“Oh Nick, if you want to know how to win her over again, why don’t you just ask me?”

“You? Why the hell would I ask you?” I shake my head at his ridiculous suggestion.

“Because I am smoother than you are.” Ryan says, causing me to roll my eyes away from the dumbass. “No seriously, you see, you have never had to fight for a woman in your life. I mean, other than the first time with Kayla. You need to do what you did with her then, now.”

“I am, what the hell do you think I am doing?” I snap at him.

“No, you’re not.” Ryan shakes his head and sitting down across from me. “You’re impatient and forcing it.”

“And why the hell would I listen to you? I have had way more women than you.” I smile, reminding him who his big brother is.

“See, that is just it. You have never had to work for it. I have a softer, more charming approach with women. You just look up and say
suck my dick
– and they do and you fuck them. That old approach has hindered your approach with your wife. All that easy ass coming your way has hurt your game with someone who is not knocked over by your good looks and sex filled eyes. She loves you, but she needs more than your usual. She needs to know she is the only one.”

I laugh at the fool as he continues. “You’re an idiot.”

“No, seriously Nick, hear me out. When you decided on Kayla, you were patient and gave her time, you charmed her a little at a time.”

“And you wouldn’t have to work so hard for it either if you didn’t fall in love with every one you lay eyes on.”

“I don’t fall in love with … I am not as cold hearted as you. They become crazy addicted to me, so I am a little more choosy because I know they won’t go away easily afterwards.” Ryan confesses with a little pride.

“They would go away if you would just …”

“Shut up Nick! We are not talking about me. I am telling you if you want Kayla back then all you have to do is … tell her you’re sorry and ask for her forgiveness.”

I stare at him in disbelief. “This is your grand advice? What the hell do you think I have been doing?” He groans leaning back in his seat. “No seriously what do you think I have been doing?”

“Yes, you say you’re sorry, but you are not showing sincerity and wanting her forgiveness. You need to
want
her forgiveness not just say I’m sorry and expect her to just jump on you.” He says, holding out his hands like he has handed gold over to me. “I’m telling you, listen to me and it will save you a lot of heartache.”

Thankfully, Ryan leaves after his supposed brilliant suggestion. Soon after, Kayla walks in and I jump up to greet her, but am immediately met with a hand in my face.

“Save it, I don’t have time for you. I have to get ready for a date tonight.”

“A what? A date! You’re married. To me!” I yell at her.

“Not really, technically you’re still dead so I might as well enjoy your death for as long as I can.” Kayla smiles and marches her prissy ass up the stairs as Ryan laughs and shakes his head behind me.

“Shut up!” I yell at him.

This game with Kayla has gone on long enough. If she can date then so can I. Once I find out where she is going, I find a date and arrange to sit at the table near Kayla and her
date
. Kayla’s expression is priceless when she sees me walk in with another woman. I am sure Ginger would burst into flames if Kayla had her way. We sit down and Ginger is nearly in my lap as we read the menu together. Kissing my neck and rubbing my cock to the point I have to tell her to back off. Kayla may never speak to me again if this girl goes much farther. I glance over at Kayla’s dweeb and I am positive she is not interested in this jerk. However, Kayla makes a point to whisper in his ear and begins to do things that she knows I like and apparently things that make the dweeb giggle like a schoolgirl.

“Excuse me, do you mind not grossing me out while I eat?” I say to them.

Kayla snarls at me, “Sorry should I be fondling his cock instead?”
Huh - she saw that.
.

Leaning towards her, “I doubt you want to waste your time on this loser but feel free to fondle my cock if you like, Princess.” I sit back, putting my arm behind Ginger to her immense excitement. My small move encourages her too much and now Ginger has no intention of letting me pay any attention to anyone other than herself. Her tactics to keep me to herself are not sitting too well with my wife. I fear Kayla is ready to come over my back at Ginger, her radiating anger is so loud. At least in my ears, no one else seems to be noticing.

“So Paul, do you want to see me dance?” Kayla says, smiling back at me as Paul nods his head as fast as he can.

Kayla crosses her legs allowing the slit of her dress to rise up her thigh. Leaning towards Paul, her ass twists in my direction and I forget myself for a few seconds. “Nick are you going to look at …
that
… all night or are you going to enjoy a real woman?” Ginger voices her frustration with a high-pitched squeal.

Kayla stands and leans over me, allowing me to look down her dress while she eyes my date in contempt. “Listen whore, you can talk and look all you want. But if I catch you doing anything other than that with this man, I will personally make sure those inflatable boobs of yours are ripped out and force-fed to you for breakfast in the morning. Kayla smiles wide and sits back down, glancing my way as I ignore everything she just said, which causes my date to get up and try to leave me sitting alone. “Eating alone now, Nick?” Kayla laughs.

I shake my head at her and look out into the restaurant where I spot Ginger turning back around. I sit back and eye her with a lick of my lips before calling her back over to me. “Sit down sweetheart, I didn’t mean to upset you. Don’t listen to what she said, she is just jealous that you are with me and she is not.” She does and I slide in next to her tracing the edges of her face with my hand, whispering the things I would like to do to her in her ear. Her breathing becomes labored and as expected she agrees happily to everything I suggest.

Slam!

I look up and Kayla has regained my attention with an angry throwing of her drink down on the table. She gets up and stops at our table, “I hope you enjoy your dinner, Nick. Please don’t rush home, Paul and I would like to have a quiet night alone together.” I look her over, not wanting to believe her but when she takes Paul’s hand and he winks at me, I nearly come out of my skin. He is lucky there are too many witnesses here.

I leave my date behind with some cash before finding Paul and my wife kissing in our living room. “Okay Paul, you can go now.” I announce.

“Don’t tell him what to do!” Kayla yells at me.

“Paul – leave! Now!” I yell at him as he stands up as if to defend his place in my house.

“Paul, stay!” Kayla yells back.

“I think we are all getting a little heated for nothing.” The fuck has the nerve to try and face me and even Kayla looks worried for him. “As far as you, Nick, is it? If you would be so good and let us enjoy some adult time together then I will give you some money to go buy yourself some ice cream.” Paul says pushing some cash into the pocket of my jacket. Paul sits back down with a wide smile while I stare into Kayla’s eyes and
smile
.

“Now Nick, don’t do anything crazy.” I nod and walk around her, grabbing Paul by the collar and stuffing his cash down his throat.

“Paul, your night is over.” He thinks for a brief second of battling me, but we quickly come to an understanding – that I can live with. Lifting him off the floor, I throw him out of the house and onto his ass. Making one final gesture in his direction I cause him to run and I am sure to never return.

Smiling I return to a fuming Kayla, “You are such an ass!”

“You’re my wife Kayla! And my wife is not going to fuck around with some dweeb in my own house. Now, if you want someone to fuck, trying fucking your husband.”

“I assumed he would be busy with some inflatable whore! Or did she round a corner to fast and bust a tit on her way here?” Kayla yells, and I have to fight from smiling at her smartass comment.

“Do you see her here or any other woman?” I ask her as she grumbles some horrible things at me. “You know, this is the second loser you have brought into our house.” Her eyes widen. “Yeah it was me. I knocked the shit out of that fuck. He dropped something in your drink, Kayla! He deserved the beating.”

“Nick you never trust me to handle things on my own!” She yells getting right in my face and all I can think is - how much I want to kiss her. So I grab her and pull her in close, kissing her deep. She pulls her arms up between us and pushes on my chest. “Stop, Nick.”

“No, you’re my wife and I love you. I don’t know what more I can do to prove that to you?” I say, not wanting to let her go.

“Maybe you should try some honesty for once.” She says walking away from me again. I watch her walk into Nicky’s room but glance my way briefly and now I know what I need to do. Maybe Ryan is right after all – beg for forgiveness the best way I know how.

Chapter 11

~Kayla~

Nicky’s little hands squeeze hard as they grip my shirt. Even though his eyes are heavy he wants to stay awake and make sure I stay with him.
Nothing could feel better than this.
Then I feel Nick’s lips on my cheek and I realize how much better I suddenly feel, but I am not letting him off that easily. Moving away from him, I kiss Nicky and put him in his bed and rush around Nick to our room. Hesitating at the lock I hear him approach on the other side and I step away. With my back to the door, I feel him come in behind me. Silently, he watches me, making me ache even more for him. To feel his hands on my body, his lips on my skin and ohhh to feel him inside me is all I desire right now. But he needs to want me more. “I don’t want to argue with you. You broke my heart. I cried for you …”

“I heard you, I was there. I held you, I made love to you just like you asked. Remember?” His voice comes closer and closer as he speaks. “You weren’t asleep. You were beautiful, sexy as ever and all I wanted. I missed you so much. I hated leaving you.” I can feel his sweet breath on my neck. “The worse pain I have ever felt was leaving you and Nicky. When you came back, the first thing I wanted to do was to run to you, but to protect you both I needed to remain dead. I needed to be hidden, unseen and it worked to our favor.”

“It worked in your favor, not mine.” I say, jerking my shoulder away from his grasp.

He laughs, “Stubborn as always. Do you know why I was late for that plane?” Nick presses his chest against my back and moves my hair to one side, “because some nosy woman took my computer.”

I turn around and instantly he surrounds me, leaning in with that knowing smile. That cocky smile he always has when he knows he is too hard to resist. “You shouldn’t keep secrets from your wife. Then maybe she wouldn’t keep secrets from you.”

“Oh so you admit you were keeping secrets from me.” Nick smiles.

“That was different. I knew you wouldn’t keep writing what was going on if you knew I had found it. And you certainly weren’t going to tell me anything. You never tell me anything.” I say pushing back on his chest, trying to ignore the warm feeling of his taut chest against my hands.

“For good reason! So you don’t get into trouble. So I can protect you.” He says, running the back of his hand gently down my cheek.

“I don’t want you to protect me. I want you to be honest with me.” He insistently looks down into my eyes.

“Are you going to be honest with me?” I stare into his devilish eyes and have to hold myself back from jumping into his arms. “Kayla? I want you to tell me everything you know.”

“I will tell you what’s important.” I say, fighting my smile as he shakes his head at me.

“Everything you know. If you do that, then I promise to tell you everything I know.” I look him over to try to verify his honesty, but his eyes wander over my body weakening my knees.
