John Skipp and Craig Spector have been working together, off and on, for more than a dozen years. Much of it has been in the world of music, which they continue to compose and perform, to the dismay of editors, agents, and neighbors alike. With any luck, you’ll be hearing it soon.

Skipp is 28. Spector is 27. They have adorable girlfriends, nice families, and lots of friends, all of whom wonder what exactly they’ve gotten themselves into. You can dress them up, but you can’t take them anywhere. They love books, movies, music, fuzzy animals, experimental surgery, and power tools. They are also wonderful with children.

This is their first novel. They have also written the novelization for the Columbia Pictures film
Fright Night
, and occasionally appear in
Twilight Zone
magazine. Their second Bantam novel,
The Cleanup
, is currently in progress, as are a number of short stories, film scripts, and attendant musical projects.
