She watched him look at her hard nipples as he licked his lips
.

He bent his head and took a nip
ple in his mouth, sucking it, pulling it and stretching it. He popped it out of his mouth and saw that it was distended. He groaned as he moved his gaze down to watch her play with herself.

She moaned and ar
ched. She moved her other hand down to her pussy and spread herself.

Logan was treated to a wonderful view of her sex
, spread wide open, just for him.

The fingers and thumb of one hand held her open and with her other hand, she shoved two fingers in herself as her thumb stroked her clit.

She was panting as
Logan watched her sex, then her face then her sex again and he began to stroke his aroused cock.

He heard her work through her wetness
and he grabbed her hand and pulled out her fingers. He saw her pussy and fingers glistening with her juices and he brought her fingers to his mouth and sucked them.

Mmmm.” It was his turn to moan.

She watched him as he moved down to eat her pussy.
She put a hand on his cock and she stroked and lightly tugged it.

He moved his lower body up and covered her face with it.
He made sure not to put too much of his weight on her as they sucked each other in a sixty nine position. When he thought he couldn’t hold his weight up he rolled them over so she was on top.

He moaned from her sucking
him and it vibrated her pussy which set her off.

She began to buck and he moaned again to give her
more of that vibration. She came and he gloried in the feel of her shuddering against his mouth as he greedily drank her juices.

She
really began to concentrate on him and just when he was about to come, he moved her off of him and turned around.

He qu
ickly slid inside her and fucked her hard. He came at the same time she was having another orgasm or was it still the first one that went on and on, it happened so fast.

Chapter 30

Logan and Melanie
dressed and began their day. She knew he was expecting child services at any time so she helped him clean up, not that it was messy. They both were clean freaks. Then she went to the gym and he to the stables.

After her workout, Melanie stopped off at Geli’s boutique. Geli had shown her the new items that had come in.

“Oh, I
really love this dress,” Melanie said as she held up a little black dress, with a sweetheart neckline, in front of her and smoothed it down. It was clingy and would hug her curves.  She definitely wanted it.  She and Geli walked to the counter to put it down when the bell over the door rang.

They both looked up to see Linda storming in.

“Your brother better watch who he fucks with,” Linda said in a louder than normal voice.

Geli looked around making sure no one else was shopping in her boutique.
“Watch your mouth, Linda.  This is a place of business.”

But Linda didn’t hea
r her. She was too busy eyeing Melanie contemptuously. All rational thought that Linda had which, to Melanie’s standards, wasn’t much, went out the window.

“Logan changed and it’s ever since you showed up.  Why don’t you crawl under the rock you came from
and do us all a favor?”

Melanie just stared at her without saying a word.

“You think you’re all high and mighty.  Miss big city girl. Leave us the fuck alone.  You’ll never be able to keep a man like Logan.  I told you that before.  And you will never, ever take my son away from me!”  She screamed that last part.

She didn’t hear the bell over the door but Geli and Melanie did.

Richie came walking in and upon hearing Linda rant, his smile turned quickly into a scowl.  He sauntered up to Melanie.

“Ladies.” He addressed all three of them as he tipped his hat.

He bent down to kiss Melanie on her cheek.  When he moved back, a fist landed in Melanie’s eye.

Mel
anie jumped back in shock and brought her hands to her face as she saw Linda’s open hand coming up to slap her.

Richi
e grabbed her hand. “Whoa! Whoa! What the hell, Linda?” he said as Geli yelled, “You crazy bitch!”

“Crazy? You want to see crazy?  I’ll show you crazy,” she said as she quickly grabbed hold of Melanie’s hair
with her other hand and yanked it so that the force brought Melanie to her knees and her head rammed into the front of the counter. Melanie knew she pulled hair out from the root.  Her eyes were watery and she felt dizzy.

As Richie pulled Linda off of Melanie, Geli screamed, “If you don’t leave I’m going to call the cops.”  She bent down to help Melanie up.

Linda went for her again but Geli stayed in front of Melanie and Richie grabbed Linda and dragged her outside.

Through the window, Melanie saw Richie talking to her and she finally left but not before she gave Melanie a sneer.

Richie came back inside the store and
went over to Melanie who was near a mirror, assessing her face.  Geli walked out of the back with a bottle of water for her.

“Y
ou all right, Mel?” Richie asked as he too studied her face.  Her eye was swollen and turning black and blue.

Geli gave the bottle of water to Melanie but instead of drinking it, she put it up to her eye.

“I’m gonna call Logan,” Geli said.

“No,” Melanie said a little too abruptly. “Please don’t. I’m fine.  Don’t get him involved. He has enough problems with her right now. I don’t want to add to it.  I just want to go home.  I’m gonna go home.

I’ll take you to Logan’s-”

“No
Richie. I’m gonna go to Charlie’s.”

Logan doesn’t want you anywhere near there right now, Mel.  How bout I take you to his house instead, darlin’?”

Melanie sighed. She shook her head.

The bell over the door rang and in walked a customer.

“Ok
ay. I was on my way home. I just stopped by to say hi to Geli cause I was in the neighborhood. Come on, I’ll take you to my house and we can put a steak on that eye.”

Melanie saw the customer look at her and realized it would not do Geli
any good for customers to see a woman with a shiner in her store so she agreed to go with Richie.

“How’s it feeling now, darlin’?” Richie asked as he placed the steak on her eye. They were in his kitchen and she was seated on a stool at the center island.

She winced.
“It looks worse than it hurts.”

“Yeah, you got one shiner there. Logan is going to go ballistic when he sees it.
Come.” He took her hand and she followed him to the couch. “Make yourself comfortable.”

“Thanks
, Richie, but I don’t want to bother you.  I should get going.”

“Stop
it, Mel.  It’s no bother.  Now sit.”

She did sit and he brought her legs up. Her
upper body twisted and she was now laying down with her head on the arm rest.  She felt funny being there.

Rich
ie seemed to pick up her uneasiness.

“Rest
easy, Mel. Logan will only be too glad I was there to help you.”

She slowly nodded her head as she bit her lip.

“You know, we’re gonna have to call him.”

She looked up to him with pleading eyes.

“Geli probably already did.  I’m sure he’s on his way over here right now.”

Melanie sighed.

Nothing could be further from the truth.  Less than fifteen minutes later, Logan walked through the door. Richie had left it unlocked because he was expecting him.

“Melanie, Mel!” His voice boomed as he strode through the hallway.

He saw her getting up
and turning toward him.  He ran the rest of the way to get to her.

Rich
ie was carrying a cup of coffee from the kitchen to the living room.  He watched his friend’s face and grinned. He thought he’d never see his friend brought to his knees over a woman.

“I’m gonna kill her.  I
’m gonna kill that fucking cunt,” Logan said as he scooped Melanie in his arms and sat with her on top of him. He placed his hands on either side of her head and studied her bruises.  Her eye was swollen, black and blue, and she had a little knot on her forehead.

“I’m sorry
, baby, I’m so sorry.”

“It’s not your fault
, Logan.”

“No, it is-”

“Logan.” She brought her hands up to his face.  “It’s…not…your…fault.”

He nodded his head in understanding. “Ok
ay. You’re pressing charges.”

“No. I don’t want to.”

“Yes.”

“Logan. I don’t
want nor can’t bring any kind of attention to myself.”

Logan let out a sigh and just brought her body close to his and hugged her as he smoothed down her hair.

“Tell me what happened.”

Melanie and Richie both filled him in with Logan growing more and more angry.

“If yo
u press charges, Logan has a better case against Linda in regards to gaining sole custody of Heath,” Richie said.

Melanie’s head shot up to him then back to Logan. She slowly nodded her head.  She would do anything she could to help him with his case. “Ok
ay.  I’ll do it.”

Logan took Melanie back to his house, but not before talking over the phone with Richie’s lawyer and stopping at the police station to put in a report.

Richie’s lawyer helped speed up a restraining order.

Chapter 31

A lot happened over the next two weeks. Linda had stayed away from Melanie and since Melanie was always with Logan, him as well. They did, however, stop going to the Salty Dog. Most of the times they were content with staying home and in each other’s company anyway, but when the desire arose to get out and meet with Richie and some friends, they started hanging out at another little honky-tonk that they got comfortable with.

Also
, during that time, child protection services dropped by his home and Linda’s home.

Through his lawyer, Logan found out that her place was a pig sty.  It looked like no one cleaned there anymore.  This bode well for his case but not so well for Heath who had to live there
, for the time being, anyway, he hoped.

And finally
, word came on the nightly news that Michael Fiore was arrested on drug trafficking charges.

For the first time in the thr
ee months she fled New York, Melanie breathed easy. While she always felt protected being with Logan, her thoughts would, every so often, turn to Logan’s safety.

It was the last day of July and Logan went to pickup Heath from camp. He brought him back to his house where Melanie cooked and had dinner waiting.

“Hi
, Heath,” she said with a huge smile as she opened the door and saw him and Logan walking up the steps.

Heath froze.
He looked to his father and started to shake.

“Hey
, buddy.  What’s the matter?”

Heath didn’t say anything.  He just continued to shake.

“Come on, buddy.  You said you were hungry. Melanie made us a nice dinner.”

“I hate her,” Heath blurted out. “I want to go home.” He stepped behind his father.

Melanie’s heart fell. She knew it was just a matter of time before Linda would twist his mind.

Logan looked up to Melanie then turned around to look at his son.

Heath started running back to the truck.  Logan ran after him and bent down on a knee as he grabbed Heath’s arms.

“Hey
, buddy, talk to me.  What’s wrong?”

“Mommy said she’s g
oing to take you away from me. I hate her. Make her go away.”

Logan’s hear
t hurt watching his son tremble as tears fell from his eyes.

“Hey
, buddy. I’m not going anywhere. Nothing and no one could ever break us up. It’s you and me, forever.” He reassured Heath as he wiped the tears from his son’s face.

Heath managed to stop trembling and his cries became little sobs.

“Melanie baked you a chocolate cake and made your favorite meal.”

“Spaghel
li and meatballs?” he asked on a sob.

“Yeah
, buddy,” Logan said as he chuckled to himself at the way his son said spaghetti.

He detected his son wanted
to relent. “Come on, let’s go inside.”

“She’s not gonna take you away from me?”

“No. Never.”

Okay,” Heath said and he threw his arms around his father and Logan squeezed his son to him.

Logan and Heath walked in to find Melanie sitting in the kitchen with a worried look on her face.

When she saw them, she honestly didn’t know how to act. She was so afraid to say or do the wrong thing.

Logan went over to Melanie and kissed her. He wanted to get his son used to seeing them together. After he broke the kiss he said, “You have two hungry cowboys here,” he turned to look at his son. “Ain’t that right, Heath?”

“Yes
, sir.”

They ate dinner and Heath enjoyed it. His favorite was the big piece of chocolate cake Melanie cut for him.  He came around and warmed up to Melanie. They played some video games and he even hugged her and kissed her cheek before Logan took him home to Linda, but Melanie knew the next time she would see him, he would hate her again.
