I don’t know that much about football. Having been raised in a country where football isn’t played, it left me kind of blind to the sport. But I’ve read some excellent high school football stories, and I really wanted to try one out. Thankfully, my amazing brother is just a little obsessed with the sport and has been instrumental in helping me form the team and create game scenes that were exciting and so much fun to write. started out as a ‘we’ll see how it goes’ kind of project, and I ended up completely falling in love with Tori and Colt. Tori’s quirks make me smile and Colt is just the kind of guy I would have fallen for in high school…but more than that happened. I ended up getting to know Finn, Mack and Tyler as I wrote this book, and their stories have come to life while I’ve been working on

Jordan Ford is a New Zealand author who has spent her life traveling with her family, attending international schools, and growing up in a variety of cultures.
