Chapter Twenty One

“I have never, in all my years of being a coroner, seen anything as horrifying as this. This is the most gruesome crime scene I have ever been privy to.”

Agent Turner looked down at the dead man tied to the chair. He sat in a puddle of blood with a bag over his head and his genitals were hanging on by a thread.

“I would have to agree, Herb.”

“There have already been two uniforms who have run out of here just in time to puke out front. This is every man’s nightmare.”

“You know, guys, I have a hard time believing that a fifty year old librarian brought these guys here and wreaked all this havoc.”

“Did anybody in the neighborhood see anything?”

One of the uniforms stepped up to respond, though he purposely turned his back to the victim. “One of the neighbors happened to look out the window when they were coming in and said she saw a woman in a purple jacket. Described her as being plain and middle-aged but said she only saw the back of her.”

“Yet no one called the police when they heard gunshots,” Rene answered.

“You know how it is in these neighborhoods. No one wants to get involved.”

“Okay… Thanks, Officer.” She directed her attention back to her partner. “We don’t have any choice. We’re going to have to set up a meeting with our informant and
The Librarian
. At least it will give us something to go on. Right now, we only have the coincidence that our first body was behind the library, someone using the profile name
The Librarian
, and a few shady chat room conversations. She may not even be involved; stranger things have happened.”

“Well, we can do one of two things: we can go get her and take her down to the precinct for questioning, or we can have Angel meet with her.”

“If we question her and she lawyers up, we’re screwed. We may never get any answers and we can’t hold her for anything.” Rene answered.

“Then we need to set up a meeting with Angel. Whoever she was talking to online was hinting around at getting rid of her abuser. At least if we set up a meeting, we can see if the librarian is the same person as the one online using that as their profile name.”

“Okay then, it isn’t like we have any live witnesses.”

“We’ll set it up and then we just have to roll with it, girl.”

“What’s that?”

“Whatever our gut instincts tell us.”

Angel answered her phone on the first ring when she saw it was Agent Turner.

“Angel, it’s Agent Turner.”

“Yeah, I guessed that already due to your name popping up on my screen,” she giggled.

He remained all business as he spoke. “We need you to do us a favor and meet up with us. Rene will go online under your profile but you need to be there to watch the interaction and know what’s being said. We’re going to try to talk with
The Librarian
and see if we can set it up so the two of you can meet.”

“I’m two steps ahead of you. I’ve already been talking to her and I’m headed over to the library now.”

“You shouldn’t have done that on your own. You need to wait until we get there. It’s potentially dangerous.”

“Too late, I’m already here. If you guys don’t want to do anything to help me, then I’ll help myself.” Angel hung up the phone and turned it off. Fuck him! She couldn’t believe she’d actually thought he was cute. What an asshole! If they didn’t want to help her get back at her rapists, then she’d talk to someone who would. During the short chat they’d had online before she’d headed over here,
The Librarian
had assured Angel that she could solve her problem. As an added bonus, she said that she could take care of it permanently. Angel didn’t need any more convincing. That’s exactly what Reginald and Bobbie were—problems she need rid of.

“Hello,” she called out as she entered the building. A bell chimed to announce her arrival.

“Well hello, dear. I’m
The Librarian
. It’s wonderful to finally meet you.” The woman made her way over to the door, turned the open sign over, and closed the blinds.

“Would you like some tea, dear?”

“Yes, ma’am, and thank you.” Angel smiled as she followed the woman back to a small kitchenette.

She waited a moment while the woman turned around and heated some water, placed a specialty tea bag in a china cup, and then repeated the process. Everything here seemed so quaint, so peaceful.

“Now, dear, you poor dear,” she said as she gently stroked Angel’s hand. “You said the last time we spoke online that you had been the victim of abuse?”

“Yes, ma’am. No offence, but you seem so much younger than I thought you would be. I mean, you’re actually very pretty and I love that purple jacket you’re wearing.”

“Damn it, damn it, damn it,” Agent Turner growled as he sat in traffic. He finally got tired of waiting and hit the lights and siren to get through it. “I already know, Rene. I’ll turn it off before we’re close enough for whoever is at that fucking library to hear.”

Rene just shook her head and watched the side streets for oncoming traffic as he blew through stoplights. He made it downtown in record time and cut off the lights and siren as they approached the front of the library.

“She’s got the blinds down and the closed sign on the door.”

“I see that.”

They made their way up to the front entrance. After confirming it was locked, Agent Turner used the butt of his gun to smash the glass in the door, cringing at the unavoidable noise he was making. He then reached in to turn the deadbolt and open the door.

He placed his finger up to his lips, indicating the need for silence, and they went in with guns drawn. They slowly made their way back towards the small kitchenette where they could hear a female’s voice, thick with emotion.

“My mother was just like you, letting my worthless father beat her up day after day and lying for him the whole time it went on. The ultimate lie, the ultimate betrayal, was when she gave me away. She put me up for adoption just because
he
didn’t want me. She chose a fucking abuser over her own child.”

“Freeze!” Agent Turner called out, making his way around the corner to see a woman standing over Angel. She looked completely unstable and was holding a knife that she was waving around erratically.

“Put the fucking knife down,” Rene growled, working her way in behind the suspect.

“She deserves to die.”

“She’s not a victim of abuse. She was raped by two boys who gave her a ride.”

“No, no, she admitted she went with them to get high.”

“And you killed them, right?”

“Yes. Yes, I did.”

“Then you’ve already doled out retribution for the offense. Why hurt her?”

The women looked back and forth between them like she was disoriented. Agent Turner used the moment of confusion to fire off a shot that lodged in her shoulder and caused her to drop the knife.

Rene ran over, quickly kicked the knife out of the way, and removed handcuffs from her waist to restrain the suspect.

Sirens could be heard as backup arrived to secure the scene. Having her off the streets would mean safety at last. That is, until the next case.

Chapter Twenty Two

“That’s it. Breathe,” she whispered as she barely lowered down on his cock.

“Rene, I can’t take anymore of you teasing me.”

“I asked you to shut up. Since you can’t seem to listen, I’ll shut you up myself.”

She moved, positioning her pussy over his mouth. He thrashed against the ropes she had used to tie him down to the bed.

“That’s a good boy. I know how to put that mouth of yours to good use.”

His lips went to work and his tongue lapped at her juices like he couldn’t get enough.

“Such a greedy boy,” she taunted as she turned her body enough to fist his swollen cock in her hand. She purposely ground down onto his face, sending him into a feeding frenzy as she came.

“Now that… will get you fucked.” She lowered her body down onto his cock roughly, pumping her hips rapidly until he cried out as he spilled his seed in her. She grabbed a handful of his hair and bent down to growl in his ear. “If I ever see another woman grab you and hug you like Angel did when you came to her rescue, I’m going to put you in a chastity device until your balls shrivel up like raisins.”

She jumped up to head to the shower.

“Rene, Rene, please untie me. I promise I’ll be good.”

She peeked around the corner and eyed every inch of him slowly like she was debating the merits of leaving him there. She must have taken pity on him because she finally relented and made her way back over to untie him.

“Don’t be too good. I’m having a lot of fun disciplining you. Oh, and don’t call me Rene. It’s Mistress Bitch to you, boy.”

She took off towards the shower with him trailing closely behind her. She grabbed the shampoo and began washing his long, layered hair as she spoke. “Who would have thought the killer would turn out to be the librarian’s daughter?”

“Yeah, I know. The trip of it is that she got access to that chat room because she’s a victim herself.”

“Yeah,” Rene answered as she reached for the conditioner. It’s horrifying that she then used it to hunt for victims, conveniently picking a profile name for herself that would implicate her mother.”

“Yes,” he answered, “and took it a step further, killing her victims in the same manner that her father died. She knew all of the evidence would point back to her mother. I guess framing her was her way of getting revenge.”

David sighed, “I feel bad for the mother. Her marriage was fucked up and her relationship with her kid was too.”

“She has a chance for redemption by raising the boy.”

“Well, I’m certain she’ll be more focused on doing right by him with all that she’s been through.”

“Under the water so I can rinse you off, boy.”

He nuzzled her neck, “I’m
your
boy.”

“Yes, you are my boy. Now, let’s get out of here and get some sleep. I’m exhausted.”

They exited the shower, dried off, and made their way to bed.

David wrapped the woman he adored in his arms, spooning against her. They were already asleep when the answering machine went off…

Guys, this is your captain speaking. You’ve got another case. Get a good night’s sleep and get with me first thing in the morning. Don’t even try to act like she didn’t sleep at your place either, Agent Turner…

The End… until the next case…
