He laughed, wrapping his arms around her.  “I don’t care about any of that, Charity.  I’m just happy you’re here.  They hugged for a moment, and when the hug died down, he pulled from her and brought his lips down to hers.  She softened in his arms, and he felt better about things.  He started to worry that she was rethinking everything about them having a relationship.  The doorbell rang, and Derek pulled from the kiss.  “Pizza’s here.”  He left the comfort of her arms and headed out of the living room and to the door.  This was better than going out, and they could get just as close to one another.

Chapter 18

Charity opened her eyes.  She turned her head and found Derek lying next to her on the couch.  His arm was around her, and the credits were playing on the screen.  She didn’t recall much of the third movie before she dozed off.  She wondered how long he had been awake before he also fell asleep.  She watched him peacefully sleep.  The night didn’t go like either one of them had planned, but she almost thought it went better.  When she decided to go to his house, instead of waiting for the date, she had every intention of telling him all about Damian.  However, after seeing him…talking to him…and fearing that he would not want to ever speak to her again, she chose the safe route.  She chose to keep it in until she honestly had a clear answer in her mind.

She was so glad she did because she had an amazing time with Derek and it was just because they were able to be themselves.  She wasn’t stressed or nervous.  She was just happy to be with him.  Throughout the evening, it dawned on her that what she felt for Derek was real, and she slowly knew what she had to do.  She looked down at him and smiled at the sleeping man beside her.

“Derek…” she whispered.  He didn’t move.  She grabbed the remote from the floor and looked at it.  She fumbled with the buttons until she got the TV shut off.  That left the room even darker, and it seemed to be what jogged Derek out of his sleep.  He opened his eyes and looked up at her.  “Hello!” she softly replied.

He smiled.  “Hello!”

She tried to shift her body off of him, but that only caused her to fall back on top of him.  They started laughing, but then the laughing came to a halt.  Her hand rested on his chest.  His hand rubbed her lower back, and she leaned in, and they kissed.  It started off as just a simple and pleasant embrace, that happened to have a kiss attached, but then it deepened, and she felt compelled to continue it.  His hand held onto her back with one hand and neck with the other.  Her tongue dove in and claimed a moan from him.

When the kiss left them breathless, she finally pulled back.  “Wow!” she whispered.

He smiled.  “Double wow!”

She grinned, and she tried again to get off the couch.  Once she succeeded, she grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet.  “It’s late!” she replied quietly.  “I should probably go.”

He nodded, but the look in his eyes told her he didn’t want her to go.  Then his words told her the exact same thing.  “You could stay!”

She nodded slowly.  “I could.”

He moved closer to her.  His hands started at her shoulders and he smoothly rode them down her limbs.  “Do you want to?” he asked.

She knew the answer that that.  She didn’t want to leave and go back to her apartment and see a questioning Ana and Tiffany.  “Do you want me to stay?” she asked.

He laughed.  “I wouldn’t be a guy if I didn’t.”  He wrapped his hand around the nape of her neck, and she closed her eyes.  The massaging motion felt so good.  She felt his lips on hers, and she kept her eyes closed, just lost for a moment.  She wanted him.  There was no doubt about that.  Her lips slowly fell from his, and her eyes opened.

“Maybe we should go upstairs,” she replied quietly.

He nodded.  He grabbed onto her hand, and they left the living room.  Once they reached the steps, they hurriedly walked up to where he stopped and pulled her in after him.  He closed the door, and she glanced around the room.  It looked much like she expected it to look.  She opened her mouth, but he stopped all words from leaving her mouth with another mouth-watering kiss.

“Oh God…” she whimpered.  “Make love to me,” she said, feeling her body already succumbing to her needs.

That was all he needed to hear.  He slowly pulled her shirt off over her head.  His mouth went down to the curvature of her breasts.  He kissed each top of her breasts, as his hands went to her zipper and he unzipped her jeans.  She groaned, arching her back to his lips.  His hands worked on undoing her clasp of her bra.  It fell to the floor, and her breasts popped out.  She’d been waiting for this moment since they had sex in California and she couldn’t wait for him to latch his mouth to her nipples.  As if he read her lips, his mouth went to her nipple.  He tugged slightly on her left and then took his mouth to her right.  Her hands slithered under his shirt, and she pulled it up over his head.  He broke from tasting her breasts, only long enough for her to remove his shirt. “You’re so beautiful,” he groaned against her nipples.  His tongue dove out and encircled each engorged peak.

Charity’s hands went to his pants, and she started working on the zipper, as he moved her back to his bed.  She fell onto his bed, and he watched her as she finished pulling off his jeans.  She grabbed onto her panties and wiggled out of them, then grabbed onto his boxers and pulled them down.  His erection popped out, and she fell back against the bed.

His eyes lingered all over her body, and it made her feel good. He lowered himself to the bed, and she scooted herself back, so her head was resting on his pillow.  His mouth went to hers, and they kissed, longingly and with a ton of heated passion.  His tongue dipped in between her lips and she groaned against his lips.  His erection brushed against her opening, and she couldn’t wait for him to finally thrust into her, but she was ready to give it a few minutes reprieve.

“I love you so much,” he growled against her lips.  She ran her hands down his back and arched her back.  Hearing him say the loving words to her made her forget all of her problems.  She bucked her hips up so he would know she was ready for him.  He slowly pulled from the kiss.  “I’ll get the condom,” he replied, starting to pull out of her.

“Wait!” she argued.  His eyes went to hers.  “I’m on the pill,” she replied.  His eyes widened, and he moved his eyes up, down, and over her body.  He glanced down at her waiting pussy.  She was so wet for him that she didn’t think she could wait another second.  “Please…” she pleaded.

He slowly moved back to her, and he suspended himself above her.  He lowered himself to her body, and they kissed once more.  His hands massaged her breasts as they continued that tantalizing kiss.  When his hands left her breasts, they moved to her arms.

Unable to control the urge, she grabbed onto his rock hard cock and thrust it inside of her.  He groaned.  She wrapped her arms around him, and they kissed with an increased hunger.  His hips rocked hard and fast against hers.  She held onto him, but wouldn’t break from the kiss.  She moaned against his lips, and he only pounded in harder.  He pounded with a force that proved his swelling erection was moments from unloading.

Charity’s lips slipped off him, and she cried out.  “Oh, Derek…” she cried.  Her body rocked against his and another scream expelled from her lips.  “Ugh…” she cried, digging her fingers into his back.  “Yes…yes…oh God yes…” she screamed.  His groaning turned into desperate grunts.  Her body shivered with anticipation, and they came together.  Her orgasm was broken off by the feel of his lips back on hers.  His cum continued to gush inside of her, overcoming her.

A sensation deep inside of Charity took over her body and she instantly felt a feeling of satisfaction.  She couldn’t explain it, but it started at her head and traveled down to her toes.

Her body shook beneath his, as his tongue collided with her.  “I’ve been waiting for so long,” he whispered against her lips.  Charity felt the same. It felt right, and it immediately gave her the revelation she needed.

“I have too,” she agreed.  “I love you!”

His smile deepened on his lips, and he broke from the kiss, so they could gawk at one another first.  “Just remember who said it first,” he replied with a teasing grin.

He flipped her over, so she was on top of him and she chuckled.  “How could I forget.”  She lowered herself down and kissed him.  Now, she just had one piece of information she had to take care of, and she wouldn’t be able to breathe until she did.

Derek didn’t want to wake up from the dream, but when he did he saw that it was no dream.  Charity leaned up against him, and her arm hung over him.  He smiled, tossing his head back.  “Thank you God!” he whispered.

Everything was perfect, and he thought for sure it had to have been a dream.  She moaned next to him, and she snuggled against him.  He felt her warm breath against his skin and it made him tingle all over.  He kissed the top of her head and once again thanked his lucky stars for having her in his bed.  She sighed and looked up into his eyes.

“Good morning!” he said.

She smiled.  “Good morning.”  They kissed, and it was apparent that she looked beautiful even in the mornings.  “I was hoping it wasn’t a dream.”

He laughed.  “Me too.  Last night was amazing!”  He shook his head.  “No, it wasn’t.”

She pulled herself up.  “What?”

He laughed at her shocked expression.  “There’s no words to describe how perfect it was.  Somehow breathtaking…amazing…sensational…none of those words cut it.”

She snickered.  “I was about to hurt you.”  She pulled herself up, so her body was flesh against his and their eyes were in direct sync with one another.  His hands held onto her waist, and his erection was ready for another round this morning.

“Did you mean what you said last night?” he asked.

She thought about it.  “I said a lot of things last night.”  She winked at him, and he laughed.

“I know, but I’m privy to the whole I love you.  Did you mean it?”

Her jaw dropped.  “Oh my God…I said that?”

He laughed and nodded.  “It was pretty loud and clear.”

She smiled.  “Then you should know that I meant every word.  I love you, Derek, and I’m sorry it took me this long to tell you.”

He shook his head.  “Don’t apologize.  I’m just grateful that we can finally tell Jesse and Ana…right?”

She beamed and nodded.  “We should call them now.”  She reached across him and grabbed his phone from the nightstand.  He laughed as he stopped her.

“We have plenty of time to tell them.”  He grabbed onto the back of her head and pulled her down to him.  They kissed, and he felt his cock anxious to get back into the swing of things with her.  She spread her legs apart, and he took his cue.  He guided his erection into her, and she rode up and down his erection.  Their hands excitedly roamed all over one another, while her body rode on top of him.  Before he could prepare her, his cum was already plunging into her.  She cried out, and his erection spasmed inside of her.

He had ached for her and having his needs fulfilled made him excited for more to come.  Her juices squirted out of her and intermixed with his, and he plunged with quicker thrusts into her.  “Oh. My. God.” She groaned.  She broke from his lips, and he dropped his mouth to her neck.  He bit down slightly, and she seized beneath him.  Nothing would ever compare to making love to Charity, and he wanted to do that for the rest of his love.

“I don’t want you to go!” Derek replied between several more heated kisses once they got downstairs.  He’d done everything to try to keep her there. Offering her breakfast, even though Mary still wasn’t home.  Offering to take a shower with her so they could save the water.  Offering to take her to wherever she needed to rush off to.  However, she turned him down at every move.

She laughed at him.  “I have something I need to take care of, but then if you’re lucky…I’ll be back.”  She kissed him softly, and he groaned.

“Fine.”  He reluctantly agreed.  The truth was, she had to get to Damian, and she had to turn down his proposal.  She could’ve kicked herself for taking the ring, but now she had the capability to do something about it.  She had to tell him that she had no doubt in her mind that Derek was the one.  While it would hurt him, it was best to take care of it now.

“I love you,” she whispered.

He smiled.  “I’ll never get tired of hearing you say that.  You know that, right?”

She laughed.  She turned from him and headed to the front door.  “I’ll be back!”

“I’m holding you to that,” he replied with a smile.  She opened the door, but his words abruptly stopped her.

“Charity…your purse.”  She turned back around and found him holding her purse.

She laughed and moved back to him.  “What would I do without you?”  She reached him, and they kissed.  She started to grab her purse from his grasp, but it fell from their hands.  She broke from the kiss, and they both stooped down to pick up the contents.

“What’s this?” he asked.

She looked at his hands and found him holding the box.  He opened it up, and his eyes spotted the engagement ring.  “Derek…I can explain…” She grabbed the box from his hand, and they stood up.

“You can explain why an engagement ring is in your purse?  She nodded, but no words seemed to want to come out.  “I’m waiting, Charity!”

“Derek, I…” she started.  The doorbell rang, breaking into her sentence.  His eyes never left her as he went to the door.  He opened it up to find Jesse and Ana at the front door.

Both their eyes went from Derek to Charity.  Ana’s eyes widened.  “Charity?  What are you doing here?”

Charity felt like she was going to get sick and needed to find a bathroom quick.  “I…” Charity started.

“We had to work late.  Charity slept here in the guest room.”  Derek was quick to save the day, but it was clear he didn’t want to look at her.
