“Rashid! How did you get here? When did you arrive? And WHAT are you doing with my ring?”

“I’m taking it off so that I can replace it with this.” This was a three-carat diamond and gold eternity band, which he placed on her finger before sliding her simple wedding band back on. Then he leaned forward, kissing her hungrily.

Gail wrapped her arms around him, and pulled him down with her until they lay on the couch with Rashid on top of her. It had been a long three weeks. She was hungry for him, so very hungry.  When they finally came up for air, she told him, “I missed you.”

“I’ve missed you, too. That’s why I’m here. To collect my wife and children and bring them home where they belong.”

She groaned, imagining her mother’s reaction to this announcement. “Any news on the divorce?”

He pulled back from nibbling on her neck. “Haven’t you been watching the news?”

“No. Mom wouldn’t let me. Claimed it wasn’t good for my health. Turns out, she was right. What have I missed?”

“The news broke this morning. Justice Thomas Mason has been suspended from the Florida State Supreme Court, pending a grand jury investigation on allegations of his accepting bribes from lawyers.”

“Thomas Mason? Isn’t that the justice that presided over our case?”

“Yes, and all the cases that he presided over have been reopened by the head Justice.”

“How did they find out? What made them suspicious?”

“Crystal.”

“Crystal?” She pushed him away and struggled to sit up. Rashid reached out and helped.

“You heard right. Davis confronted her about all of the media attention. Apparently, he somehow let it slip that he’d bribed the judge and that was why they’d won the appeal. Crystal went straight to the D.A. with it. The D.A. leaned on Davis and he caved. He sold Mason for a lighter sentence.”

“But it’s Davis word against Mason’s. Why would they believe Davis when he’d already plead guilty?”

“Because he had proof. He taped a couple of their conversations and kept records of their financial transactions.”

“So what does this mean for us? Are they scheduling another hearing with a different justice?”

“No, they’ve already ruled in our favor. Seems Greg was right. We should have won. Would have won if not for Davis and Mason.” He slid his hand up her thighs under her skirt, and grabbed her underwear. “Lift up.”

She did; her mind more on their conversation than his actions. “So, we’re still married?’

“Yes.” He reached for the zipper on his pants.

“And we no longer have to worry about Crystal?”

He freed himself from his pants and lifted Gail onto his lap. “Crystal’s history. She called and apologized for all the trouble she’d caused. Asked me to convey to you how sorry she was for everything and that she hoped you two could still be friends. Last I heard she was headed back to Vegas to that clinic.”

He fingered her, testing her readiness, then he shifted her until he embedded inside.

“Rashid,” she hissed. “We can’t do this here. My parents are right inside.”

“I’m not waiting another moment. You’ll just have to be really quiet.”

She bit back a moan as he spread her skirt to cover their actions. Planting his feet further apart, he punched up with his hips in short, sharp jabs that hit all the right spots inside. Suddenly, he stopped. When Gail tried to move, he clamped a hand down on her hips and shook his head. A moment later, her mother appeared in the doorway.

“Gail, did Rashid tell you the news?”

“Just now.” God, she hoped she wasn’t blushing. She’d never been able to successfully hide anything from her mother.

Rashid stroked her back in a manner that appeared soothing to the casual observer, but inside he was flexing his shaft, making it bounce around and drive her crazy. The expression on his face was one of utter peace and contentment. Gail wanted to slug him.

“That’s good. I’m sure you two have a lot to discuss. Rashid, are you staying the night?”

“No, we’re leaving. I chartered a plane and it has to be back tonight.”

The wretch! Even his voice sounded normal, giving no clue as to what was going on beneath her mother’s watchful gaze.

Gail bit her lip. Her orgasm was getting close. She absolutely refused to have one in front of her mother. She dug her nails into his shoulders, signaling him to get rid of her.

“You’ll be staying for dinner at least, won’t you? The children need to eat.”

“We have a few hours before we need to depart. There’s plenty enough time for dinner. Besides, Gail needs to feed this little one, as well.” His hands cupped her rounding stomach.

Satisfied, her mother turned to leave. Rashid stopped her. “Has my wife been eating well? Has she been taking care of herself?”

“I’ve been making her eat. For the last three weeks, she’s done nothing but eat and sleep. Finally put back on some of that weight she lost.”

“I can tell.” He grabbed her hips and bounced her a few times on his lap, careful to keep her skirt in place. Gail’s eyes tried to roll back into her head as she bounced up and down on his cock. “She’s heavier. Whatever you’re feeding her, it’s doing the trick.”

Her mother beamed at the compliment. “Let me get back to the kitchen before I burn dinner. Food will be ready in ten minutes.” She turned back towards the door.

The minute her back was turned, Rashid reached down and pinched Gail’s clit, startling a shriek out of her that she quickly muffled against his chest.

“Did you say something, Gail?”

“No, ma’am.”

“Okay, then. I must be hearing things.” She turned and left, for good this time.

Gail bit Rashid on the chest, hard.

He wrapped his hand in her hair and pulled her head away from his pectoral muscle. His mouth crushed hers as his arm wrapped around her waist, locking her to him. He pumped furiously into her until they both came.

She lay panting against his chest. “You…are…so…evil. I can’t believe you did that.”

A wicked laugh was his only response.

Five years later…

“Watch me, Godma!” He gave a mighty Tarzan yell that ended with a huge splash.

“Jamal! No more cannonballs. You almost landed on your sister’s head.”

“But Mom, I had to show Godma Crystal what I could do.”

“Yeah, Mom. He had to show Crystal what he could do,” came the laughing comment from behind her.

“Uncle Greg! Uncle Greg!” The ringing chorus came from the three children frolicking in the pool.

“Greg! You made it.” She searched behind him. “Did you bring her?”

“Yes, I brought her. She’s in the room, getting changed.”

“Uncle Greg! Watch me do a cannonball.” Jamal tugged on Greg’s pants leg until he gained his attention.

Greg crouched down to his level. “Okay, but try not to hit your sisters. I actually like them.”

“Yeah, they’re okay for girls.”

Greg ruffled his water slick hair. “Show me what you got, slick.”

“Watch out below!” Jamal jumped into the pool, leaving his sisters scrambling to get out of the way.

“Rashid, do something about your son,” she commanded as he dropped into the seat beside hers.

“He executed a perfectly brilliant cannonball. He doesn’t need any help from me.”

“Oooo! You know what I mean.” Gail tried to hit him but he caught her hand and brought it to his mouth, kissing her fingers. Then he opened her hand and slowly licked her palm, eyes at half-mast.

Gail gasped  then moaned. Though they’d been married for over five years, he still could get her wet with just a look from those sultry, dark eyes.

“Hey, none of that! There are children present,” Greg shouted, breaking the sexual tension between Gail and Rashid.

Rashid grinned, showing all of his teeth. “You, my friend, are jealous. Where’s this woman we’ve heard so much about? It’s about time you got your own and stop lusting after mine.”

“You’re just mad because you know she wants me in return,” Greg teased.

Gail laughed. The two men had become great friends over the last few years. They frequently spent time with Greg in California and he stayed with them whenever he was in town visiting. He was present at the birth of their last child, Angel, and had even named her. He was also Angel’s godfather.

John Singleton dropped into the chair beside Crystal. “The meat’s almost done. When I take the ribs off of the grill, I’ll lower the flame and you can bring out the chicken.”

“Oh, good. I’m starving,” Crystal told him.

John was Crystal’s husband, a minister she met in Nevada. The two had been married for over a year and were expecting their first child. So far, so good. Crystal was six months and having no complications. The doctors didn’t expect any, either. Gail was so happy for her.

“I’ll get the chicken.” She rose to her feet.

“I’ll help.” Rashid followed.

“Man, we’ll never get it, now. I’m warning you, if you’re in there too long, I’m coming in after you,” Greg informed them.

Laughing, Gail turned and almost plowed into a pretty brunette. “Oh, I’m so sorry. You must be Leslie. Greg’s told us so much about you.”

Greg came over and stood by his fiancé. “Sweetheart, this is Gail and the brute standing beside her is her husband, Rashid. The pregnant lady is Gail’s friend Crystal and the man next to her is her husband, John.”

A blur flew out of the pool and attached itself to his leg. “And this little beauty is my goddaughter, Angel. Angel, say hi to Ms. Leslie.”

Large brown eyes peeped out from behind his leg. “Hi, Ms. Lelly.”

“Oh, what a precious angel,” Nina said.

Rashid snorted. “More like a…”

Gail slapped a hand over his mouth. “Ear’s listening.”  She nodded at Angel.

He licked her palm and she snatched her hand away. “Nice meeting you, Leslie. Have a seat. Make yourself at home. We don’t stand on formalities here. Excuse us; we’re on our way to get the chicken for the grill.”

She stepped around the couple and towed Rashid with her to the kitchen. He immediately backed her into the counter and lowered his head for a kiss. Gail wrapped her arms around his neck and poured all of her love into it. When they broke apart, they were both panting.

She leaned her forehead against his chest and asked, “Are you sure you’re okay with Crystal being here?” She knew the answer but needed to hear it again to be sure.

Rashid tipped up her chin so she could look him in the eye. “I was okay with it when you asked and I’m fine with it now. She means nothing to me, but if having her here makes you happy then it makes me happy as well.”

It had taken time, but she and Crystal had managed to work out their differences. Some would call her a fool for allowing this woman back into her life, but how could she not? Because of Crystal, she was married to a wonderful man and had three beautiful children.

The friendship they had now was much stronger than the previous one, now that there weren’t any lies and jealousy getting in the way. Crystal had received the help she needed and met a wonderful man in the process. She’d confessed that being with John had taught her what true love is. Best of all, Crystal had matured over the last few years and was a much more caring individual, not as self-centered as she used to be.

“You know, I’ve been thinking. We should have another baby.”

“What! No. Absolutely not.”

“But we make such pretty ones and we can certainly afford it.”

“No, Rashid.” She grabbed the pan of chicken out of the refrigerator.

“Think about it. We’ll discuss it later.”

“No. There’s nothing to discuss. I said no, and that’s final.”

She walked out of the kitchen with the food and didn’t see the gleam in his eyes.

Later that night, she lay on the bed panting. “Rashid, let me come. You’re killing me.”

“Not until you agree to another pregnancy.”

“Rashid! I can’t believe you’re…ahhh! Do that again!”

“Will you give me another baby if I do?”

“Yes, yes. Anything you say. Just don’t stop what you’re doing.”

“I thought you’d see things my way.”

Before drifting off to sleep, she told him, “This is absolutely the last one.

He smiled in the dark. “We’ll see.”
