He sat on the side of the bed and rubbed his hand through
his hair. He would just have to explain to Hannah that although last night had
been very enjoyable for him, it was something that couldn’t happen again.
He stood and walked naked to the bathroom. “It was
amazing.” He muttered to himself. “Don’t say enjoyable you asshole, say it
was amazing.”
He opened the bathroom door. “Hannah, we need to talk.
Last night was – “
He stuttered to a stop and stared at her. She was standing
in front of the bathroom sink examining the bite on her neck; her soft dark
hair was piled on top of her head in a messy bun and she was wrapped in one of
his towels. It was a small towel and barely covered her nakedness.
He swallowed hard as his eyes traveled over her. He could
see droplets of water on her back and shoulders where she had missed drying off
with the towel, and he could see more tiny drops of water sliding down the backs
of her thighs.
His mouth went dry as she tugged self-consciously at the top
of the towel and smiled at him nervously. “Good morning, Will.”
He inhaled deeply and she frowned a little. “Will? Uh –
are you okay?”
“Fine.” He croaked. He crossed the small room in two steps
and stood behind her, staring at her in the large mirror over the bathroom sink.
“How did you sleep?”
“Good, actually. I mean, I probably didn’t get enough but
after we,” she paused and he watched the flush rising up her neck, “um, I mean,
once I was warm I slept really well. I didn’t even have any more nightmares.”
“Good.” He muttered. He was only half-listening,
fascinated by the drop of water that was slowly sliding down her back between
her shoulder blades.
Later. I’ll tell her later that we shouldn’t do this
anymore.
He leaned forward and licked away the drop of water with his
tongue, grinning at the small moan she made. He kissed across her back,
collecting the moisture in his mouth before he kissed the top of her shoulder
with open mouth and roving tongue.
“Will, I -”
She caught her breath as he kissed up the side of her neck
and sucked lightly on her earlobe.
“Yes?” He whispered as his hands came around and tugged on
the towel. He pulled it free and it dropped to the floor around her feet. He
pressed his cock against her soft ass and cupped both of her breasts, his
fingers pulling on her already-hard nipples.
“What were you going to say?” He kissed her neck again as
her hands came up and clutched the back of his head, pushing more of her
breasts into his hands.
“I forget.” She moaned again.
Hannah looked in the mirror, her breath catching in her
throat at the sight of Will’s large, tanned hands cupping her pale breasts.
She watched as his fingers tugged on her nipples, rolling them and pinching
them lightly, and her back arched in pleasure.
She studied their reflections in the mirror as he moved his
right hand down her flat abdomen. He stopped to trace her scar with rough
fingertips and when his fingers found the soft curls at the apex of her thighs
she immediately opened her legs, silently urging him to move lower. He ignored
her, running his fingers lightly over the soft curls, and she groaned in
frustration. His cock was hard and throbbing against her ass and she pushed
her ass back against it, rubbing herself against him.
He gasped sharply, one hand tightening on her breast while
his other hand moved to where she wanted it most. Her hips thrust against his
hand with involuntary pleasure as he rubbed her clit with the tips of his
fingers. She watched fascinated as his fingers rubbed and circled. Watching
him touch her was turning her on in ways she didn’t understand and when she
finally tore her gaze away and realized that he was watching her, she flushed
bright red with embarrassment.
He grinned at her in the mirror and stilled his hand,
cupping her sex with warm familiarity. Embarrassed, she lowered her hands from
where they still clutched his head and tugged at his arm.
“Let’s go back to the bed.” She whispered.
“Why?” He smiled at her. “You seem to like watching me
touch you.”
Oh God. Hannah groaned and tugged again at his arm. “Please
Will – the bed.”
“It turns you on doesn’t it, Hannah?” He whispered against
her throat. She refused to answer, and he moved his hand lower and probed at
her opening. She was soaking wet and his finger slid into her easily, making
her cry out with pleasure.
“It certainly feels like it turns you on.” He grinned again
at her in the mirror as his eyes turned yellow.
She turned her head then, capturing his mouth in an urgent
kiss. She explored his mouth with her tongue, and he surprised her by suddenly
closing his lips around her tongue and sucking hard. The sucking sent a spasm
of pleasure through her body and she jerked against him, crying out when it
pushed his finger deeper inside of her.
Suddenly frantic for him she tried to twist in his arms. She
needed to feel his cock directly against her but he shook his head and moved
his hands up to her arms, making her stay where she was.
He kissed her throat again and then pushed gently on her
back until she was bent over. She clutched the sides of the sink in her hands,
feeling the smooth coldness of the porcelain against her fingers as he ran his
hands over her ass and then between her thighs.
“Open your legs, Hannah.” He whispered and she spread her
legs obediently. He grasped his cock in his hand and guided it between her
legs. He rubbed it across her clit, making her moan, and then slipped just the
head of his cock into her warm opening.
She shuddered and pushed her hips back, sheathing him
entirely within her in one smooth motion. They both cried out and his hands
tightened around her hips. She braced herself against the sink as he slowly
thrust in and out of her.
He reached around and cupped her breasts as he moved closer,
pushing her legs further apart and quickening his pace. She groaned and
shuddered with pleasure. The different position was causing different
sensations, and she could already feel herself drawing close to coming.
He wrapped his hands around her upper arms and pulled her up
until she was standing straight against him. She shifted, closing her legs
together to help herself balance, and he groaned loudly as the motion made her
tighten around him.
“You’re so tight, so wet…” He breathed into her ear. His
hot breath and words brought an involuntary shudder to her body, making her
squeeze his cock even more tightly.
“Open your eyes, Hannah.” He whispered. Her eyelids
fluttered open and she stared hazily at him in the bathroom mirror.
“Watch.” He murmured and, as he started to thrust into her
again, her eyes drifted down the mirror.
Pleasure flooded through her body at the sight of his cock disappearing
into her. “Oh my God, Will.” She moaned.
“We fit together so well, Hannah.” He kissed the soft skin
behind her ear, making her shiver. “Your body was made for mine.”
He pushed deeper into her, pulling back on her arms so her
back arched and her ass pushed against his pelvis. Holding her tightly he
thrust in and out, listening as her cries loudened and her breathing
quickened. He was so close to coming. He had never been turned on so quickly
before and he tried desperately to hang on, wanting her to come before he did.
He tried to slow his movements but his body had a mind of
its own and it continued to thrust wildly into her. “Hannah…” he moaned, and
at the sound of her name she cried out loudly and shuddered madly against him.
He could feel himself wanting to shift. He controlled it fiercely as he shoved
once more into her, and a cry of pleasure that was half-howl, half-groan tore
from his throat as he came in her.

“Hannah! Hi!” Selena was sitting on the side of a bed in
the infirmary when Hannah entered. The two women hugged and Hannah sat down
beside her.
“How do you feel?”
Selena smiled. “Better. Barb says I can go back to the
dorms tonight. How are you?”
“I’m good. I’m so glad to see you up and around.” She
glanced to the far end of the infirmary where curtains were drawn around the
bed that Alison was in.
“Has Alison woken up yet?”
Selena shook her head. “No, not yet. Barb says that’s not
necessarily a bad thing. Her breathing is steady and so is her pulse. They’ve
given her a ton of blood transfusions.”
“Do you remember what happened?” Hannah asked.
“Not really. I mean, I remember the vampires and I remember
being in the bathroom with you – after that it’s a blank.” She paused. “Barb
says you saved my life.”
Hannah put her arm around Selena’s shoulders. “Not really.
I killed a vampire but it was actually Will who saved both of us.”
“Jeremy came by earlier this morning. He said that Will is
a werewolf.”
“Lycan.” Hannah corrected her.
Selena frowned. “Did you know he was a Lycan?”
Hannah hesitated and then nodded. “Yeah, I had guessed it
earlier.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“It wasn’t my information to tell. Besides, why does it
matter?”
“Hannah, werewolves are – well, they’re dangerous. Don’t
you remember the lessons that Isabelle taught us about them?”
“Of course I do. Lycans are like humans – some are
dangerous and some aren’t. Will would never hurt us Selena. Did Jeremy also
tell you that the only reason we lived is because Will is a Lycan?”
“Yes, and I’m grateful to him.” Selena said softly. She
frowned a little. “I can’t believe that I was attracted to him.”
Hannah rolled her eyes. “I’m going to assume you didn’t
mean that the way it sounded.”
Selena flushed. “I didn’t. Honestly, I didn’t. It’s just
that I don’t think I could ever fully relax with a werewolf – I mean a Lycan.
What if they lost control while we were –“
She stopped. “So that’s what Leanne meant when she said he
didn’t have a gentle bone in his body. I guess if she likes that sort of
thing…” She trailed off.
Hannah could feel a strong surge of jealousy at the mention
of Leanne’s name. Will had been nothing but gentle with her. Maybe Leanne was
lying about sleeping with him.
Unless he’s rough with her because he knows she can
handle it.
Hannah sighed. What did it matter now? What she and Will
had done last night and this morning was finished. Before parting ways this
morning she had gathered her courage and shared her fear that a relationship
with him would get her kicked out of the program, and that she believed it was
best if they didn’t continue. She was filled with an odd combination of
disappointment and relief when he had quickly agreed. She was not willing to
admit that part of her, a large part of her, had been hoping he would try to
change her mind.
What does he care? He’ll probably be back in Leanne’s
arms by tonight. Face it girl, you were nothing but a roll in the hay for him.
Hannah savagely muzzled the small voice in her head and concentrated on what
Selena was saying to her.
“Have you spoken with Alan yet?” Selena asked.
“No. But at my check-up this morning Barb told me I had an
appointment to see him at one today. Have you talked to him?”
She had learned that Alan, the tall and gentle man who had
spoken with her after Sara died, was the resident therapist. All of the
recruits and the instructors were required to speak with him after every hunt.
Although the night at the bar hadn’t been a hunt, Alan had already been making
his rounds, speaking to each of the recruits about what had happened.
“Yeah. He dropped by this morning.” Selena looked down at
her hands. “I hate talking about my feelings and shit. I just hate it.”
“I know. But Alan’s good at what he does.”
“He is.” Selena sighed. “I have to admit that I feel a
little better after talking with him.”
She glanced at Hannah. “They’re having a service for Frank later
this afternoon. Are you going?”
Hannah nodded. “Yes. How about you? Are you up to it?”
“I am.” Selena said solemnly, tears were welling in her
dark eyes. “I can’t believe he’s dead.”
“I know.” Hannah hugged the smaller woman. “I know.”

“Will, do you believe it was just a coincidence?” Mannie
stared at him.
“The vampires are in the middle of an uprising. I think
we’d be foolish to believe they wouldn’t do whatever it took to eliminate any
threats to that uprising.” Will responded.
“Yeah. But how do they even know about the organization?”
Mannie looked at Richard who sighed deeply.
“Mannie, an organization this size is impossible to keep
hidden forever. The vampires have been aware of us for at least two years.
Why do you think the facilities have been increasing their security over the
last few years?”
Mannie stared at him. “They know where this place is?”
Richard shook his head. “No, if they did they would have
attacked the centre by now. But I can assure you, it will only be a matter of
time before our base is discovered. The Atlanta base has already been
discovered. They were attacked last year, remember?”
“Yes, and we defeated them easily.” Mannie replied.
“True, but their centre has the benefit of being larger with
a more modern defense system.”
“You should have told me.” Mannie said angrily. “We should
never have taken the babies out to celebrate.”
“There’s no way we could have known that the vampires would
attack you and the others at the bar.” Richard said gently.
“How did they even know we were there?” Mannie frowned. “We
take the babies to a different place each celebration.”
