“Hi, yourself.” He was buttoning his shirt without looking and had the bottom buttons askew. The man was adorable.

Giving up on the shirt, he pointed overhead. “I changed the lightbulb for you, but I couldn't turn it on from out here.”

“Oh, thanks.” She stood staring at him for a couple of seconds, then remembered she still hadn't unlocked her own front door. She took care of that immediately, then stepped inside to flip the switch on the wall. She set her sample case and purse down and turned toward him. “Perfect, thanks again.”

Light shone down on his head, giving him a halo while casting his mouth in shadow. Moths flickered toward the light. She turned it off again and stepped back in invitation, holding the door open. The front hall was dark, but she needed the dark to hide her nerves.

For all her horny needs, she was still half-convinced she'd read his signals wrong. “Would you like to come in? I have some decaf I could brew. It's late for caffeine.” She took a quick mental inventory of her wine stock. All she had was the box of white she used at parties. It was still in the trunk of her car, more than half-empty. Taye probably wouldn't like wine out of a box.

She could still smell the taint of burnt toast but Taye didn't seem to notice.

He stepped into her narrow front hall and she backed up to give him room to close the door. Firmly and with purpose, he closed it the way a man closes a door knowing it would be daybreak before he opened it again.

tomach fluttering with nerves and painful need, Kat heard the loud click of the front door lock. “You've never been inside my house before,” she said with a squeak. She cleared her throat and tried again. “Is the layout the same as yours?”

Her silently expectant front hall had never been so narrow, or so full of male vibrancy. He was much wider, more solid in the dark. She hoped he couldn't hear her heart pound.

She moved her hand toward the light switch, but he stopped her, his fingers hot on the back of her hand. “I like the dark,” he said.

She nodded. The dark made it easy to hide her flushed cheeks and budded nipples. Stupid! Celia wouldn't hide a thing.

With a great leap of faith, Kat took the plunge and let go of the security her shyness gave her. If she continued to let shyness rule her life, she'd never get laid!

It's way past time to let your inner adventuress out to play.

Taye peeked into the kitchen, lit by a single night-light. “The floor plan's opposite. At least down here.” His voice stroked her from throat to navel and she shivered in the dark, wanting to hear more.

“My bedroom's next to yours,” she said softly to hide the tremor she was sure was in her voice. “We share a wall.”

What would he think if she told him she wanted to climb in his window?

“Coffee sounds good,” Taye said, breaking into Kat's sexual reverie. “Decaf's fine.” His voice went husky, expectant. He cleared his throat and leaned in close.

He crowded her in a very un-Taye-like stance that sent thrills down her spine. “That is, unless you need to get to bed right away.”

Her belly fluttered in acceptance. In approval.

In need.

She forgot what it was they were talking about. Her nerves screeched and she backed away. “Not right away, no. I'm keyed up after work. Need time to wind down.”

His eyes gleamed in the dim glow from the night-light.

“I'm sorry, I burnt some toast earlier.” She fought the pull of his scent, his warmth. “I think my toaster's shot.” It was easier to think about letting out her inner adventuress than actually doing it.

She clenched her fist to press her nails into her palm to remind her she was supposed to be seducing the man, not complaining about small appliances.

Again, her hand went to the light switch on the wall.

Again, he stopped her. “No,” he said, covering her hand with his. “This is enough light. It's dark, it's late.” He brought her palm to his lips and kissed it. “It's quiet.”

Her entire body buzzed from that one perfectly planted kiss.

Her sex fluttered and melted.

He slowly lowered their hands and released hers while she stood transfixed by the change in him. Where was the geek? The nerd? The cute clumsiness she found so appealing?

“If the thermostat's gone in your toaster, it could be a fire hazard. You should toss it,” he said.

What she wanted tossed was her, on a bed, with Taye following her down into the mattress. She flushed hot and pivoted the single step into her kitchen. “I'll put the coffee on.” She just knew he was checking out her less-than-perfect butt.

She went to the cupboard and brought down a fresh bag of coffee beans, then remembered she needed decaf. She dug into the cupboard again and brought out a package of ground coffee. Not as good, but at this time of night she didn't think it mattered.

“Thanks.” He wandered over to the counter beside her to check out the toaster. He unplugged it and his elbow brushed her arm with the movement. Zips and zings of charge sparked along her arm to her chest.

“I'll throw the toaster away right now if it's the thermostat,” she said. “I don't want a kitchen fire.”

“You don't? I like fire between two people in the kitchen.”

“Oh,” she breathed, and decided that no matter what, she would allow her inner wild woman free rein tonight. No more shy Kat, no more worries about needing commitment. It was time she grew up and went for the sex she needed.

“Yes, oh,” he repeated. His smile went soft and she got lost in the gray of his eyes, going smoky as she watched. Her mouth went dry and she licked her lips. His eyes darted to the movement, and he swallowed hard.

“I'll have to wait for my next party to buy another toaster, though.”

He blinked. Looked confused by the conversational turn. Confused and sweet and lip-smacking good. He was back to being Taye the good neighbor here to fix her toaster. “Party?”

His stammering response to the double-headed dong and the thigh highs he'd dropped off earlier ran through her mind. Had he spent the evening trying to put two and two together? Heaven only knew what he had come up with.

“I'm putting myself through college selling sex toys and lingerie,” she told him, not just to put him out of his misery but to put his mind on lingerie and sex. “And assorted paraphernalia.” She thought of the warming lube that was so popular. Not that she'd need any. She was well lubricated by juices she'd made herself.

She filled the water well in the coffeemaker with a hand that barely shook. She wrestled away her shyness and decided to let her natural inclinations take them where she figured they both wanted to go. “I hope you didn't think the double-headed dildo was mine. That thing was way too big. I prefer a more natural fit.”

Even in the dimness, she could see him flush red. “I have to admit the thought crossed my mind. A cock that size might be considered a hard act to follow.” The corner of his mouth lifted, and she saw his teasing side. “By a lesser man, of course.”

Oh Mama, the man had a sense of humor. “Of course.”

“I'm glad the courier messed up. Otherwise I might not be here right now.” He slanted her a heated glance. “Paraphernalia, huh? Flesh-colored cocks and lingerie like the fishnets?”

“And merry widows, crotchless panties, warming lubes and gels. That kind of thing.” She leaned against the counter and crossed her arms under her breasts, giving them a slight lift.

He noticed, and her sex went soft and open.

“You've got my interest. Although, you've had that for some time now, Kat.”

Her breath fluttered out of her chest. This was really going to happen! Suddenly three years of abstinence seemed a small price to pay if sleeping with Taye was the payoff.

“Did you like the thigh highs?” She decided to go for broke. “They're comfortable and one of my best-selling items. Would you care to see them?”

He swallowed hard and shifted on his feet. Two good signs, she thought. “The thigh highs.” His eyes went dark. “Stay ups, right? I'd love to see them.”

“Good, I'll go get a pair.”

If Kat came out of that bathroom with her long-as-forever legs in the black fishnet thigh highs he'd seen earlier, he'd come all over himself. Taye ran his fingers through his hair and tried to control his raging libido. His blood rushed and pulsed to his cock, leaving his brain blood-deprived again.

He'd always been a daydreamer, but this was too wild, even for him. He needed to focus elsewhere or he'd make a fool of himself.

Much as he tried he couldn't figure Kat out. One minute she was shyly provocative, the next she turned into a sexy vixen who made it clear what she wanted.

But always, she made him burn.

He'd promised to check out her toaster for her so he dumped a load of old crumbs from the toaster into the sink. Chunks of blackened crust fell out.

A sound behind him made him turn.

Kat stood just inside the kitchen and held a long black rope in each hand. She looked flushed and pretty and completely girl-next-door, but now he knew better. She was a vixen, out for a good time.

She was dressed as she'd been before, a sexy black sheath held up by thin straps. The material draped every curve and smooth dent her body possessed. The material shimmered and clung to all her smooth planes and pointy points.

“These come in various colors,” she said, holding up the ropes, “but I'm partial to black.” She threaded one of the ropes over her hand and up her arm past her elbow. The material opened up into the mesh he was familiar with.

“Me too,” he said around a thundering heart. “Although white's nice too. Virginal.”

“Is that what you'd like, Taye? A virgin?” She pulled the fishnet down her arm again, slowly, like a stripper removing a long silk glove.

The image was hot, the real woman in front of him hotter.

“Because I could do that for you.” Her voice went husky and offered exactly what he'd come over here to get. “Be virginal, I mean.”

He turned around fully, rested his hips against the sink. Her gaze dropped to his crotch and he did nothing to prevent her bold appraisal.

She smiled and raised her eyebrows. “I see you know exactly what I mean.”

“Next time,” he said, “you wear white. This time, I want you in those. And I want you now.” Half-crazed with lust, he couldn't believe he'd said it, and the resulting flare in her eyes said she didn't believe it either.

A storm of doubt gathered in the depth of her gaze, but just as quickly it cleared.

She distracted him by bending over. Her beautiful, fleshy breasts swayed as she reached up under her dress. She tugged, and her sheer pantyhose came down her legs and off her feet into a filmy beige pile.

The last of the coffee burbled into the maker, the scent rich and full. Forgotten.

Taye's heart pounded hard as Kat put her left foot into the toe of one thigh high. His gut sucked in and he held himself still as she smoothed and coaxed the stocking up her leg. Again, the familiar crisscross pattern emerged, adding shape and shadow to her already-curvy leg. His imagination went into overdrive as he recalled his image of that huge dong pressing into her.

He blinked to clear his mind of the dong. Soon it would be him sliding into her.

His cock thudded, blood moved through his head thick and slow as she did the same slow torture thing with her other leg.

Not sure how far he could take this without throwing Kat to the floor, he watched silently, trying to frame his next words.

What came out undid him. “Now, lift your skirt to show me.”

“Wait, I need my shoes.” She flitted out of the room like a fairy queen, excited and pretty and quick. Oh so quick.

She was back with her shoes on, sassy but cool at the same time. The hem of her slinky black dress swirled and caressed her knees.

“You have gorgeous legs,” he said.

Her cheeks went pink at the compliment, and she blinked. He had to remember that. As much as she liked compliments he could see she didn't get enough of them.

“And fabulous breasts.”

She flushed full out at that one. “I didn't think you ever noticed me.”

“My fault. I should have let you know.” Stupid. They could have been like this for months now instead of fumbling around each other. “Now, lift your hem. I want to see those stockings.”

Her hands clasped the black material covering her thighs and began a painfully slow tug. Up, up, up the material crept, each inch heightening his desire to see everything hidden.

Everything. Everywhere.

Finally, the tops of the stockings appeared just below her pubis. She was perfectly formed, seductive and innocent. Her gaze warmed to hot and he swore he saw the same vixen peek out at him that he'd seen before. The skin of her neck and chest bloomed a sexual flush, and she looked sweet and hot. A roar built in his head as he made his move.

Flashes of all the dreams he'd had with Kat Hardee in the starring role flickered behind his eyes as he crossed the small kitchen to her.

She let go of her dress and tugged at his shoulders the second he got close. He grabbed her delectable ass and tugged her lower body into his erection, tight and hard.

“Kiss me, Taye, before I—”

He plowed into her open mouth with his tongue, sipping and taking and losing himself in her taste. Her hot, wet mouth enticed and entangled him and pulled him into her.

His hand squeezed and rubbed the fleshy mounds of her ass as she moaned in her throat. She shifted her butt to rest on the table edge, and he smoothly moved into place between her thighs.

She sighed into his mouth and worked the buttons on his shirt. Taking her cue, he smoothed the thin straps of her dress off her shoulders and delved into her bodice. A strapless bra interfered until she undid the front catch and gave him room.

He scooped her breasts free of the bra and dress. “You've got great tits. I've wondered how they look and feel.” He weighed them, soft and heavy. He was right, the slope was straight with the bulk of her flesh below the upturned nipples.

Full and red, her nipples were hard. His mouth watered while he looked his fill. Finally he set his mouth to her. Hard pearls met his tongue as he swirled and licked.
