“Dana…” She could hardly speak. If Dana was about to do what she thought she might, Laurel was sure she wouldn’t be able to stop herself from crying.

“My fantasy is to wake up with you every morning.” Dana took the ring from its velvet home. “And go to bed with you every night, and be with you for the rest of our lives. It’s what I want more than anything.” She slid the ring onto Laurel’s wedding finger. “Will you give me that?”

Laurel met her eyes. “Yes,” she said without hesitation. There was nothing to think about. She’d wanted this for months. Tears of happiness spilled from her eyes. “Yes, Dana.”

Dana was trembling as she swept Laurel into a tight hug. “You like the ring?”

“Almost as much as I like you,” Laurel breathed into Dana’s ear.

“Which is a whole lot.”

She knew she was getting Dana’s shirt even wetter with soapy bathwater and tears, but she didn’t care.

Dana tightened her embrace. “Good. Fantasy complete.”

Laurel placed her hand on the small of Dana’s back, holding her close. She wanted never to let go. “That was an easy fantasy to fulfill.”

“I’m not very difficult to please,” Dana said with deep tenderness.

Laurel stared down at the first gold band she’d ever worn entirely for love. All at once, every random piece of her life seemed to fall into place, and she felt whole and complete in a way she could never remember feeling before.

She looked up at Dana. “Are there any other fantasies I can help you out with tonight?” With a mischievous smile, she added, “I hardly think it’s fair for this one to count as your turn, since it was mine, too.”

Dana’s face took on a now-familiar expression of lust, made that much more intense by the moment they had just shared. “Well…there
is
the little matter of the warrior queen and her body slave.”

Laurel felt a sudden surge of wetness between her legs, and it had nothing to do with her bath. “That, my queen, can most definitely be arranged.”
