“Going anywhere?” I turned into him.

He shrugged and smiled sheepishly. “I just wanted to make sure…that you’re sticking around for a while. I know it hasn’t been easy.”

I put my hand on his cheek and looked into those deep, brown eyes. “Us, or Bonney Bay?”

“Both.”

I nudged his face down and kissed his sweet mouth. “I’m not going anywhere, Will.”

He kissed me again, and I swear, I could feel and taste his smile. I opened my eyes so I could see his dimple. “I love you, Will Riggins.”

“I love you, too, Brenna Battle.”

“I knew you’d get it right eventually.”

Will swatted me playfully. Then his expression turned serious. “I did get it right this time. I got it right with you.”
