Chapter -20

Pastor G and Big Man caught Ken up on what had been going on. Ken didn't want to think about what they were talking about, the breaking in the studio, them taking Jazz from the grandma, or the fight with G and Calvin. He'd respond to all that later, but first, he needed to see his Forever.

"Nigga
, where you going? “Ken questioned Big Man when they pulled into the shopping center.

"I called Burger to come in just for you. I told him you had an emergency. Go get a cut
," G told Ken. "You know he wanted extra since he had to come in on a Monday." Ken touched his fro, and then his face. He needed a haircut and shave bad. He got out the car and walked inside Heads Up Barbershop.

"Man
, don't be stopping and shit. Your ass forever talking. Just cut my shit." Ken shook his head and Burger laughed. He knew Ken wasn't lying, but he didn't give a care.

"I'm
a tell you now, if someone come with a dice game or blunt, then you gotta wait." Burger laughed. Ken didn’t.

"Just cut my shit." Ken sat there and thought about how he was going to be a father.

Calvin caught a cab back to the hospital to get Dena
’s car. It was left there when he was arrested. Before heading to Dena’s, he decided to cop her treat.  He didn't have his cell phone, so he had to call his nigga from a pay phone.

"Meet me by
Heads Up," he told the caller. "I need Satan and his angel." He spoke in codes, referring to the heroin and coke that he had Mrs. K on. That night she caught him with the plate of coke played out exactly how he wanted. The first amount he poured in a straight line and tooted was pure coke. The line in the shape of an S was contaminated with Heroin, he knew that would have her addicted fast and would be harder for her to get off. Now that she was asking for it, he knew he had her. As Calvin drove to meet his connect, he thought about how he was going to strip Dena of everything, even her dignity, when it was over with.
Jazz, I did this for you and now I need you to do daddy a favor.

~ Secrets ~

"Calvin Lamont Lewis was his real name. He was in jail for robbery and just recently released
," Rosa told Judge Gramble. It was times like these that she appreciated that her boss thought she was worthy enough to meet the people she dealt with on a regular. In the Kenslow estate Rosa wasn't just help, she was family, and family looked out for each other.

"Is there a booking number on the paperwork, birthdate?"

"Yes, yes.” Rosa read him everything. Gramble told her to sit tight and he’d get back. Rosa looked through some other papers of Calvin's.
What the hell, who the hell are you? And, how are you connected to Ken and Jazz?
She jumped when she heard the front doors open. Rosa stuffed the paperwork inside the piano and stood to greet Laurie.

When Laurie and her mother walked in, Rosa ran to her and held her tight. She couldn't stop crying. The Kenslows were her family and she loved them dearly. Mrs. K dropped her purse and joined the hug.

When Calvin pulled up to the spot to meet his connect
, he had to do a double take. No it wasn't that nigga G standing outside talking to the other nigga that stood at Ken’s right hand when he ran up in his spot to take him for what he got.
Damn, I want that nigga’s head
. Calvin was itching to get that ass. He pulled two shops away from where they stood in front of the fish market. He didn't have his cell, so he couldn't call anybody. He thought about if he should leave, try to round up a few of his niggas, and go back and get active on they ass. Just as the thought left his brain, his connect walked up and knocked on the window, startling him. He rolled his window down. "Get in," he told his connect.

A tall
, slim dude with glasses walked over to the passenger side of the Benz and got in. Dude slid Calvin two balloons of heroin and a bag of coke. He waited for Calvin to pay him. He followed Calvin’s eyes and smiled when he saw who they were glued on. "My nigga Ken. I ain't seen blood in a long time." He was about to open the door.

"Man
, kill that shit. Don't be calling no slob niggas to my car."

Dude looked at Calvin and frowned.
"I forgot you was a Crip, nigga. Give me my money so I can go."

Calvin handed dude his money. As soon as he got out the car
, he hurried out the parking lot.
How the fuck that nigga get out?
he thought as he pulled into the shopping center across the street. Where ever he was going, he knew Jazz had to be there. How was he going to get her to sign the deed to the studio, he had no idea, but what he did know that he was going to take G down.

Calvin followed them t
he two hours to Apple Valley. He cracked a smile, he remembered that place. Him and Pam went out there one Christmas Eve when Jazz was a baby. All he needed to do was gather his boys and get that shit popping. He pulled off with a plan.

Chapter 21

Dena la
y in bed with the chills. She was edgy and didn't want to be bothered with anyone. It was the drug. She needed it and Calvin had yet to deliver.

"Mom, are you sleep?" Laurie eased into the room. Dena rolled her eyes at the top of her head. She was glad that her daughter was home
, but she didn't want to be bothered. Laurie sat on the bed next to her mom and touched her leg, Dena jumped. "Are you ok, mom?" Dena shook her head yes. Laurie sat there for a minute. It was the first time she had her mother to herself in a long time, and she didn't know if she wanted to talk her head off and tell her how she'd been feeling since her brother was killed. She didn't know if she wanted to talk about the kidnapping and what was going to happen next or if she wanted to just climb in bed and lay next to her.  She sat there. She watched as Dena shook. "Mom, are you getting sick?” Dena lied and said yes. Laurie got up and went to make her favorite tea.

~ Daddy’s Home ~

Back at the house, Jazz was so emotional, she wouldn't stop crying and refused to let him go.  When Ken first walked in the house, she was lying across the bed asleep. She thought she was dreaming when she felt his lips on hers, and then heard his deep, sexy voice.

"Daddy's home
, wake up." Jazz dreamed that Ken was standing straight there with flowers and a smile. She didn't want to wake because she didn't want him to disappear.  In her dream, she watched as he lifted her shirt and kissed her stomach.

"What's up
, little man? Daddy's home. Tell mommy to wake up." Ken then shook Jazz. Still she kept her eyes closed. "Jazz, your man is home." Ken shook her again.

Jazz sighed
.     She slowly opened her eyes and through blurred vision, she saw him standing there smiling. She was still uncertain if it was him until that smile of his lit up the room and she felt his hand rub her tummy. Jazz jumped straight up. She had to blink a few times just to make sure she wasn't tripping. Ken kneeled down on the side of the bed so that Jazz would not have to move too much. He really wanted to scoop her up and carry her around the room squeezing her tight, but due to her condition, he wanted to be extra careful.

"Omg
, baby, you're home." A flood of tears drenched her face. Jazz wrapped her arms around Ken and squeezed him so tight, he thought he would lose his breath, but he wouldn’t dare move her out the way. He gave her, her moment and he enjoyed every minute of it. At the same time, he took a few seconds himself to grasp the moments he missed the most.  Ken tangled his hand in her freshly washed hair. He loved the smell of her skin. She didn’t need perfume, her natural smell was intoxicating.

"Umm
, forever, I miss you, too. I won’t ever spend a second away from you again.” Ken felt a burning sensation in his throat. He tried to hold back his own tears, but Jazz made it hard for him with all the tears she had flowing. Ken planted kisses on her ear, and whispered, “I love you to life. Jazz, only death will do us apart! “

“I love you
, too….” She squeezed him tighter.  After a while, Ken tried to get up, but Jazz held him tighter.

No, no, please, baby, please, don't move. I'm… I'm… I'm scared this is a dream."

Ken chuckled.
"Jazz, it's not a dream." He pulled her arms from around his neck and kissed her on the mouth, easing his in his tongue. The kiss was so long and passionate, Jazz had to pull away and breathe. Ken then took her hands into his, and brought them up to his mouth, kissing the palm of her hand while staring into each other’s eyes. There were so many unspoken words, but the one thing that was there was the love that held for each other. Jazz immediately started to boo hoo again. Ken pulled her into his arms and hugged her. "It's alright, baby. I'm here."

"Ken
, I was so scared." She flashed back on what had gone down. Her being shot, waking up in the hospital alone...

"So was I
, Jazz. I’m sorry this happened to you.” At that point, Ken could no longer fight back the tears. His forever had been shot and now paralyzed.
That fucking Peter
, he thought.

"I wish it was something I could have done
differently, Jazz. Look at you. I wish I could kill that nigga myself times five." Jazz felt the tear drop from his eyes.

"I know
, Ken. I know it's not your fault." She lifted from his chest and wiped her face with her hand. She held his face in her hand. “Baby, don’t cry. I don't blame you and I don't want you to blame yourself. I want you to listen to me. Kendrick, it… is… not… your… fault, there was nothing you could have done. I am alive and carrying our child. You are here with us and that's all that matters to me.” She kissed him and he kissed her back. The kiss was so passionate and drugging. Jazz wanted her Ken right at that moment.  “Baby, make love to me,” she spoke between kissing him on his lips, chin, and then back on his lips again. Ken froze. He didn’t know if he should.  Jazz stop kissing him when she felt him tense up. When she looked at him, he was looking at her legs. “Kendrick, are you scared to touch me?” Her voice was low.

“Baby
, I don’t want to hurt you. I mean…”

“Ken
, I have some feeling. You can’t hurt me. The doctors said my condition is only temporary. I started therapy in the hospital, but I had to stop when I came here. Now that you are home, I can start back.” Without saying a word, he stared into her Jazz eyes. “What, Ken?” Jazz became annoyed. “Are you no longer attracted to me?” She lay back on the bed and used the pillow to cover her face. That is exactly what she was afraid of, Ken no longer wanting her because she was in a wheelchair.

“Baby
, I will always be attracted to you. Even when you are big and wobbling around, begging for ice cream and pickles. Baby, I love you. I just don’t want to hurt you.”  Jazz removed the pillow from her face.

"So, you don’t care that I’m temporary in a wheelchair?”

“Hell no,” he whispered
, and leaned over on top of her. Jazz locked onto his lips and they kissed again.

Baby, make love to me. I need you. We need you, daddy.” Ken slid his hand in her shorts.

“You must’ve knew I was coming,” he whispered when he felt she had no panties on.
He rubbed her love box and instantly got a hard on.

Jazz was
slippery wet. First, one finger, and then he used two, dipping them in and out of her. He broke their kiss. With his free hand and Jazz’s help, he pulled her shorts down. Jazz took off her own shirt. Ken licked his lips at the sight of her pretty, round breasts. He wasted no time attacking her hard nipples. Jazz didn’t know if she was coming or going. She missed his touch. No one could make her feel like Ken did. Her head moved side to side as loud moans of pleasure escaped her mouth.

“Ohhhhhhh
, Ken, baby, faster,” she grunted. It didn’t take much for her to cum fast. Her chest arched up and she squeezed the bed sheets with one hand as her juices flowed all over Ken’s fingers.

"Ummm
, a taste of honey." He licked each of his fingers. He watched as Jazz’s body jerked one last time before standing up to take off his basketball shorts and white tee. He stood there in front of Jazz and allowed her to admire his body. Looking at the muscles and Ken’s six pack, Jazz remembered just how much she missed her sexy man. Jazz licked her lips when she saw her second favorite guy staring at her. Her kitty kat throbbed.

“Make love to me.” She used her index finger to summon him. Ken slowly climbed back on the bed. He was shocked that Jazz was able to open her own legs and
remembered that she said she had feeling. Without giving another thought of hurting her, he entered Jazz nice and slow. He closed his eyes at how warm and inviting she was.

Ahhhh, Jazz, baby,” he mumbled. It felt good to be back where he belonged.

Jazz
felt the same way. She missed his good dick and couldn’t control how she expressed it. “Ohhhhhhhh, daddy… shit… Ohhhh, Ken… Yes, baby.” She moved her hips, “I missed this dick so much,” she whispered. Ken was in heaven. In all his twenty something years, he never had any sex as good as he and Jazz’s. “Deeper and faster, baby.” Jazz was going wild.

That’s my girl, tell daddy how deep you want it.” He pumped faster, barely able to control himself.

Yesss, ohhhh, daddy, deepppppp, deeper!” Jazz tried her best to throw it back at him. Ken’s hand was on her leg, he squeezed it as he dug her out. Jazz pulled his hand around and brought it up to her breast. She played with herself.

"Ahhh
, shit, damn, baby. I can’t hold out much longer."

Come on, baby, yess, give it to us. Feed us, baby. We miss you... ahhh,  ah, ah, ah, ah, Kennnn. Oh.” Jazz’s body spazzed out. Ken held on tight, going deeper and deeper, but careful not to hurt her or the baby. “Cum for me, daddy, ohh, that it. Yess, baby.”

Jazzzz I, lo, lo, love the hell out you... ohh, ah....hhhh!” Ken’s toes balled up, his stomach felt like knots as his warm seeds shot up in her. They both were drained. Ken wrapped his arm around Jazz as they lay there in silence. All you could hear was them breathing.

"What happen
ed that night?" Jazz broke the silence.

“You know I love you
, right? You and my baby are my life." Ken debated if it was a good time to tell her that Peter set him up.

“Yes,
baby, they tried to make me kill the baby."

"Wh
at are you talking about, Jazz?"

Ken and Jazz went on to talk about what took place since they had been out if each other's lives. Their conversation ended up going all the wa
y back to when she went over to Colisa’s house looking for him. Ken even told her that Peter set him up.
