This might be the hardest acknowledgment I’ve eve
r written, only because there are so many people that deserve a thanks in the process of this book. Touching Fire has not been an easy road to take. So much has happened, so many ups and downs. There was a time when I strongly believed that this moment would never come. But it was because of the people below that you are holding this book today.

Kris, my guardian angel and a true saint. I don’t know what I would do without your constant friendship, support and unfaltering confidence in me. You’ve been there from the beginning and you have never wavered once. Thank you for believing in me.

Kimmie, I never believed I would find someone as beautiful and wonderful as you and yet here you are. Thank you for keeping me grounded and reminding me that all my self-doubts are only in my head. I will always be grateful for you, no matter what happens.
