CHAPTER 21

                                                        HARLEM

“This bitch thinks I’m stupid” I said putting an unknown address in my GPS. I wasn’t about to continue to play these games with her. I was on my way to go deliver Mya’s shit to her personally. A few weeks ago I had put a tracking device on Mya’s car. I didn’t want to but she left me no choice. She moved in with me but spends more nights at her place, the one she told me she got rid of but lied about or at her moms. I didn’t have a problem with that. If she didn’t want to move in with me, all she had to do was say no when I asked her to. What I did have a problem with was this nigga Bryan. Mya can say all she want she’s not fucking dude but I know better than that. I didn’t trust her ass no further than I can throw her.

Like now, she told me she was staying with her mother tonight after what happened today. But my GPS proved that was a lie. I went home and packed up the little shit she had there and was going to drop it off to her. I didn’t know what it was about that nigga Bryan she couldn’t get enough of, but that’s who she needs to be with since that’s where her loyalty lies. I told her countless of times to get her number changed but did she do it? NO. Whenever dude called or texted her ass went running. I love Mya too much to share her with another nigga. So before I do some shit I know I would regret, I rather just leave her the fuck alone.

I was trying my damnest not to go back to the old me. I haven’t gotten my hands dirty in a good minute. I wouldn’t mind chopping that nigga up in a million pieces before feeding him to Rocky and Rocsi, my two bull mastiffs. I have calmed down a lot because of Mya. But it seemed like she couldn’t do the same for me. I didn’t want her to know the old me and the last thing I ever wanted to do was hurt her. I was in a better place and I wanted to stay that way.

I pulled up in front of an old raggedy hotel and cruised the parking lot until I spotted Mya’s truck parked in front of a room door. Seeing her truck here just confirmed my suspicion of her cheating. You don’t just meet up at a hotel outside of town just to talk. I checked the clip in my gun before getting out. I put my ear to the door to see if I could hear anything.

“Bryan, I told you no already. I can’t keep doing this.” Mya’s voice said. I prayed to God I didn’t see anything I didn’t like. I didn’t know if I would be able to handle it or not. I knocked on the door twice and waited for it to open. When dude answered the door, I came face to face with the last person I thought I would ever catch in the same room with Mya. I pulled my strap out and aimed it at his face.

“Diesel”

  CHAPTER 22

                                                        JUSTICE

“Jazmyn, just listen to me” I yelled and she jumped. I didn’t mean to scare her but yelling seems like the only way to get her attention.

“Justice, I don’t have shit to say to you. I’m going back to my apartment. You sneaking and fucking that nasty bitch, have her because I’m done with you. I refuse to take myself through the same shit with you that I went through with Prince.” she said packing up her clothes. I snatched the bag and started taking everything she put in there out.

“Jaz, I’m not letting you leave me, especially over a fucking lie.”

“She’s lying?” Jaz asked.

“Yea, she’s lying!”

“Let me ask you a question, that night you left my house a few months back, who did you really go see? And before you lie, I talked to Mya. I know you wasn’t with Harlem.”

I didn’t know what to say. My shit had finally caught back up with me, I thought I could take that night to the grave but Tammi’s ass just had to fuck that up. I didn’t know how I was going to get myself out of this but I needed to think of something.

“Exactly,” she said walking off to finish packing.

“Aite, I fucked up. I slept with Tammi but it aint mean shit to me.”

“It doesn’t have to mean anything to you, Justice. It means a lot to me. She’s pregnant with your baby. I can’t do this, Justice. We moved into this relationship too fast.”

“What the fuck are you talking about Jaz? We were friends for months before we became official. I love you, ma. I slipped up one time and you ready to call it quits? You don’t love me because if you did, you wouldn’t be trying to leave a nigga right now.”

“Fuck you, Justice. Don’t try and switch this shit on me. I had plenty of chances to fuck around on you but I never did. I love you but I love myself more.” She turned around and I grabbed her and pulled her in my arms.

“Jaz, listen to me. I’m sorry aite. I never meant to hurt you, it just happened. If I could take it back, I would. Don’t do this shit to me, don’t leave me behind this shit yo.” I pleaded looking into her eyes. I could tell she wanted to give in but she was trying her best not to. Seeing how bad I really hurt her, broke a nigga’s heart. I was praying she forgave me. I wasn’t trying to lose her.

“I can’t, Justice. If I give in this time, it’s going to happen again. It’ll be like I’m with Prince all over again and i...”

“How many times I do I have to tell you to stop comparing me to that nigga? I’m not him! I haven’t put my hands on you once. I fucked up one time and haven’t looked at another bitch since. I come home to you every night. I don’t disrespect you or call you out your name. When are you going to start judging me for me and stop basing this relationship off of the shit Prince took you through?”

“Justice, we need some time apart to figure out what we want. Apparently, you still have feelings for your baby mother.” She said walking in the bathroom to get her tooth brush.
She’ll say anything to leave,
I chuckled. She was trying too hard not to forgive me. I understand it was going to be hard for her because of that shit Prince took her through but I wasn’t giving up easy.

“Man miss me with that shit. You know damn well I don’t have any feelings for Tammi. Look who I’m here with, who am I begging not to leave. If I wanted that bitch, I can have her any day but I want you. I need you, Jaz. What else do you want me to say, what do you want me to do?” I said sitting on the edge of the bed.

“Whatever. You’re not over her because if you were that nice little condo she got, she won’t have. You claim you don’t have feelings for her but I can’t tell. You are still taking care of her, Justice and as long as you do, she is going to continue to think she matters.”

“Jaz, ima tell you like I tell Harlem. Tammi is the mother of my kids, I can’t turn my back on her. I’m all she’s got.”

“Well, she can have your black ass because we’re done.” She screamed throwing stuff in her bag. “I’m the one who cooks, cleans, and help you take care of her boys. I’m the one who helps them with their homework and takes them to football and basketball practice. I stay up with Jordan and rock him back to sleep when he has nightmares about her leaving him at the park. I love those two little boys to death and can’t even imagine doing half the shit she has ever done to them. Even when one of them hates you.” She said grabbing her bag and walking out the bedroom. I stopped her before she could get to the stairs.

“What do you mean by that? Jordan or Javier say something like that?”

“No just let me go, so I can leave.” She replied snatching away and heading for the front door. I ran and jumped in front of her. “Move Justice.”

I was begging and pleading my case. She was cursing and fussing for me to move. I picked her up and carried her to the couch. She jumped up and took off towards the kitchen. I ran behind her and tried to grab her but the kitchen island was in between us. “I’m not letting you leave me” I said and she tried not to smile. “I love you too much to just let you walk out.”

She ran towards the door and I was hot on her trail. She opened the door but stopped in her tracks. I took that as my chance to get her but when I grabbed her arm, I saw that she was talking to somebody.

“Is Justice here?”

“What’s up?” I said staring back at some older dark skin lady.

“Do you mind if I come in to talk to you?” She asked.

“Yea, I don’t really allow people I don’t know into my home. Look if you a Jehovah witness, the Bryant’s right down the street they into that type of shit.” I said trying to pull Jaz back in the house.

“No I’m not a Jehovah witness. I’m actually here to see you.”

“And who are you?” I asked.

“Your mother!”

“Say what now?”
