“Yes but she won’t bother you, she’s actually dating Butch
now so all the awkwardness has passed.”

She sits up and stares down at me. “Butch? He so sweet and
she’s such a bitch.”

I chuckle at her knowing that Mandy is bitchy most of the
time. That’s why I keep her as my manager, she’s kick ass. Once she realized I
was in love with Kerri she was cold and bitchy to me but then Butch got his
claws into her and she’s been warm and friendly since. Thank God for that
miracle because I really didn’t want to be forced to fire her.

“Don’t worry about Butch, he can handle Mandy.”

She drops down on the pillow staring at the ceiling.

“So?” Chase nudges her shoulder.

She sighs heavily then says, “I’ll take the job on one
condition.”

“Anything” Chase says. He’ll give her anything she wants but
I need to know what it is before I agree.

“What?” I say eyeing her suspiciously.

“You guys have to meet my dad. He won’t like me quitting my
job to run off with musicians, especially if he thinks you guys aren’t serious
about me.”

Fuck. How are we going to look her father in the face and
expect him to take us seriously, when we’re both fucking his little girl in
every position imaginable? He’ll probably try to beat the shit out of us. Not
that we can’t take him on but I would never do that to Kerri.

“Please,” she pleads with me because Chase has already
agreed. “I’m really close to my dad and his opinion of me means a lot. If he
sees how much you guys love me he’ll understand.”

I look into her sparkling hazel eyes and know I’m as weak to
her as Chase is, I just pretend to be stronger.

“I guess we’re going to meet your dad” I say. As much as I’m
dreading it, I’m happy were taking a step at building our future. One day soon
Kerrington Mills will be our wife.
