I
just nod as he helps me into my coat and hat then drags me out through the
front door.  “Gabe?”

Turning
to look at me, he takes my face in his hands and kisses my lips in a very light
sweet kiss.  “Come on babe, it’s freezing out here.”  Climbing into his truck,
he turns the heater up high as we slowly start to drive up the lane to my
parent’s house.  All I can think about is how I’m going to combat my jealous
streak at the thought of Ruby flirting with Gabe.

The
snow’s falling heavier now as we pull up outside the house.  Taking a deep
breath, we both exit the truck and walk as best we can towards the kitchen
door.  Gabe takes my arm on the steps to make sure I don’t fall and then we’re
in the kitchen surrounded by everyone.

My
Aunt Maggie runs over to us and pulls me into her for a huge hug, telling me
how much she’s missed me.  Then Ruby wraps her arms around me, all the time
eyeing Gabe up, who’s oblivious while he hugs Aunt Maggie.  “He’s still hot
Bree.”  She whispers to me.

This
is going to be one very long afternoon.

“He always is.”  I reply, as I turn away trying to ignore the questioning look
she throws at me.  Paul pulls me into his arms for a cuddle.  He’s my favorite
and not just because of Ruby’s ‘thing’ about Gabe.  When we were kids, Paul was
always the one to smooth my feathers when ever Ruby and I got into it.  Ruby
always used to know which buttons to push, even before Gabe became part of the
equation.

I
pull out of Paul’s arms and look across to Gabe, who has Ruby wrapped around
him.  I end up blinking away tears before anyone can see.  Gabe does though, he
may have her in his arms, but it’s me he’s looking at.

Pulling
myself together, I turn and take the seat next to Aunt Maggie.  “You look
really good Bree.  That LA air must agree with you.”

“Yeah
it does, but there’s nothing like home.  I didn’t realize how much I’d missed
my family and home until I arrived back here,” I tell Aunt Maggie.  Gabe pulls
the chair out next to me and sits down with Ruby sitting on his other side.
Out of the corner of my eye, I can see Ruby leaning in close to him, whispering
in his ear.

“Ruby?
Behave yourself and leave the poor guy alone.”
Thank you Aunt Maggie!

“I’m
just talking to Gabe.”  Ruby replies, snuggling more into him.  I’m seconds
away from losing it and if she doesn’t stop fawning all over him, I’ll lose it
sooner rather than later.

Gabe
obviously sensing my upset puts his hand under the table onto my thigh and
squeezes.  I slide my hand under with his; we lace our fingers together.  I now
feel as though I can breathe again.

It
makes me sad that we have to hide like this, but hopefully it will only be for
a short while.  I want nothing more than to shout ‘he’s my guy, keep away’.

Chapter
9

GABE

Sitting
down next to Bree, may not have been the best idea I’ve ever had, considering
the glances I keep getting from Martha.  But what the heck, Bree’s upset with
how Ruby’s acting towards me and having her upset like this, is pissing me
off.  I’ve put up with Ruby coming on to me for years.  You’d think after all
this time, she’d get the hint, but no she hasn’t.

I’m
holding onto Bree’s hand under the table, to try and silently offer whatever
reassurance I can.  She really is the whole world to me and seeing her upset
really gets to me.

Martha
keeps looking at us and once or twice I caught her looking at our arms.  My
guess is that she’s noticed my left and Bree’s right hands are missing from the
table.

While
I’m trying to think up an excuse to get both me and Bree out of here, Ruby
wraps herself around my other arm.  “Gabe can take me.”
Shit, take her
were?

“Err;
I think I’ve missed something.  Take you were?”  I ask, trying to claim my arm
back.

“I’ve
just been telling everyone about the dance in town in a couple of days.”
Note
to self - don’t day dream when Ruby’s in the room.

Thinking
quickly, I say the first thing that pops in to my head, “I’m sorry Ruby, but
I’ve promised to take someone else.”
Shit.
  Seeing everyone look at me,
Bree included.  I don’t have a clue how I’m going to get out of this one.
Staying silent, I squeeze Bree’s hand again and take a cookie from the plate in
the centre of the table, hoping with my mouth full, no one will question me.

“Well
Gabe, are you going to tell us who the lucky lady is?”
Trust Aunt Maggie.

No
idea what to say, I look around trying to come up with a name, but my mind’s
blank.

“He’s
taking Tracy from town.”
Thank god for the woman I love
.

She
releases my hand and smoothes hers along my thigh, lifting it up onto the table
to take a biscuit just as Ruby takes hold of my arm again.  I realize the only
way to make this easier on Bree, is to leave while they’re here.

As
I stand, Bree looks up at me, “I’ve got some things to do, so I’m going to head
out and will see you all again.”  Grabbing my coat, I quickly start putting it
on heading towards the kitchen door.

“I’ll
come with you.”
Fuck, this is so not happening.

“Ruby
you need to stay here and catch up with Bree.  Aunt Maggie, Paul I’ll see you
soon.”  I then glance at Bree, who winks at me as I dash out of the door before
Ruby can follow me.

******

 Walking
back into my cabin it feels empty without Bree.  I’d planned on making love to
her all afternoon, but instead, I was tortured having to act as though there
was nothing between us, while we said hello to family.  I just really hope Ruby
got the message and doesn’t show up here.  Turning back to the door, I decide
to lock it so I don’t get any unwanted visitors.

Throwing
my coat over one of the stools at the breakfast bar, I open the fridge and
retrieve a beer before collapsing on my comfy chair in front of the
television.  Resting my head back on the chair, I take a swig of beer and let
out a sigh.  That sure was a close escape.

My
only problem now though is wondering how Bree is holding up with Ruby.  For
some reason, the two of them have never been able to get along.  When we were
kids Ruby used to pick on Bree something wicked.  Poor Paul ended up in the middle
of their arguments on more than one occasion.  Laughing, I remember the time
they actually let fists fly and Ruby ended up giving her brother a black eye
when he tried to protect Bree.

Bree.
She’s everything that I’ve ever wanted, not only does she have an amazing body,
but she’s great just to talk to.  She has such a bubbly, mischievous
personality, that I find it so damn hard to let her go.

I
still can’t believe she started to give me a blow job in the truck while I was
driving.  It was so hot; I very nearly exploded the minute she sucked me in.

Hell

I really need to stop thinking about her giving me head.  My cock has risen and
is trying to burst free.
What the heck, the doors are locked.
  Putting
my beer on the table, I unbutton and pull the zipper down having my cock burst
free.
Relief!
Already starting to breathe heavy, I fist my cock and
slowly move my hand up and down, which feels really good.

I
push my jeans further down my legs; using my other hand, I massage my balls
while still fisting my cock real slow.  On the upward stroke, I rub my thumb
over the leaking tip.  Thinking about Bree in the truck with her hot little
mouth on me has my fist speeding up; quickly pushing my t-shirt up, I ejaculate
all over my stomach and hand.
Christ.  That didn’t last long.

Chapter
10

BREE

Lying
in bed, I’m watching the snow fall heavy against my bedroom window, thinking
about Gabe.  I really wanted to sneak to his place last night, to spend the
night with him.  But he was right.  I couldn’t spend the whole night, at least
not yet.  No matter how much we both wanted that.

Looking
at the clock, it’s nine in the morning.  With how bad the snow’s coming down, I
don’t think anyone will be going anywhere today.  Gabe and I decided to play it
by ear today and see what everyone else is doing.  We’d definitely get together
later, no matter what.  I’m actually planning to sneak over to Gabe’s cabin at
some point, if he doesn’t show up by the time I’ve eaten breakfast.

Climbing
out of bed to a bit of a chill, I quickly dress in my favorite comfortable
jeans.  Which I happen to know make Gabe drool when I wear them, I also add a
t-shirt and jumper.  The jumper was a Christmas present from Gabe two years
ago.  It’s well worn.

Going
downstairs and entering the kitchen, I find both my parents, Gabe, Travis and
Beth sat at the kitchen table drinking in silence.   There’s also Beth’s
boyfriend, Simon.  Feeling as though I’m interrupting something, I look around
and meet Gabe’s eyes feeling so much love for him.  Deciding to break the
silence, “Morning, what did I interrupt?”

“Beth
and Simon are trying to explain what he’s doing here, when he went home last
night.  But for some reason appears to have slept in her room all night.”

“Oh….
Mom she’s twenty two.”  I say trying not to laugh.  This is why Beth has been
talking about moving out.  The last few times we spoke on the phone she did
nothing, but complain about lack of privacy.  Walking over to Gabe, I wink and
smile at him, “Morning.”  I whisper.

 “Morning.
Here, I’ve just made you this.  I was about to send a search party up for you.”

“Ha,
you’re a funny guy today.  It’s not that late.  All that fresh air yesterday
tired me out.”

“Oh,
is that what it was?”  Smiling at him, feeling so happy, I take a bite of the
bagel he’s made me.

“Wouldn’t
get too happy sis, you’re next?”  Travis says.

Then
grinning at me and Gabe he says, “Mom was pissed when you disappeared with Beth
yesterday.  She had a date lined up for you at supper.”  Travis whispers.

Hell.

Seeing my eyes go wide, Travis laughs and heads out of the kitchen.  “See you
all later.”

“Bye.”

 “You
will not do this again Beth, do I make myself clear?”  Dad tells her.

“Yes.”
Getting up from the table, both Beth and Simon slope off into the lounge and by
the looks of things Beth is actually laughing.

“Now,
what do you have to say for yourself?”  Mom asks me looking awfully stern.
Looking at her for a minute, I’m sure she finds this amusing, but before I can
question her, the look has gone and she’s replaced it with pissed again.

“Mom,
I’m twenty four years old.  We just went to Simon’s house before I hit Ruby,
she was driving us both crazy and we did text you before you started supper.”

“That
isn’t the point.”

“Then
what is Mom?”

“There
was a very nice young man here to meet you at supper.”

Sighing,
“Mom, I don’t want to meet all the bachelors from here to Timbuktu.  Please
stop okay, no more introductions.  Promise me?”
I’m in love with the man
standing so close to me now and don’t want anyone else.

“I’m
just thinking about you honey.”

I
walk over to Mom and pull her into me for a hug, “I love you too Mom, but I
hate that you keep trying to fix me up.  I’m not interested.”

“Okay,
I promise to stop.”

I
kiss my Mom on the cheek, “Thank you.”

“Do
you want some breakfast honey?”

“I’m
fine thanks.  Gabe made me a bagel.”

I
turn to the window to look out at the snow and just catch my Mom frowning – not
sure why.  The snow is pretty deep outside and looks amazing, “Hey Gabe, do you
want to go sledging?”

I
turn back to look in his direction, “Are you sure that’s what you want to do?
It’s kind of bad outside.”  Gabe replies.  He’s so funny and probably dreading
the thought of going out in the cold snow sledging.

Laughing,
I walk over to him and poke him in the stomach, “Hey.”  He says, catching my
hand.

“I
remember you, always wanting to stay inside nice and warm instead of coming out
to play in the snow.  You’re not getting off lightly this time, Gabe.”  God, he
looks hot as I stand in front of him, teasing him, his eyes glittering full of
heat for me.  I need to walk away.  I wink at him then turn to head towards the
kitchen door before I wrap myself around him.
Is it so wrong to want the
arms of the guy I’m in love with, wrapped around me?

“Okay
that’s settled.  Let me just put my boots on then we can go.”

“Will
you be back for lunch and supper?”  Mom asks, with her hands on her hips.

I
can’t help but laugh at her, “I don’t know.  Maybe, not lunch, but supper.  I
guess.”  I’m relieved; she seems to be okay now about all the time I spent with
Gabe yesterday.

“Kids!”
Mom says, rolling her eyes.

Grabbing
my coat, hat and gloves from beside the kitchen door, I then take hold of
Gabe’s hand and pull him out of the house.
