“Lucky you,” I comment, breaking our stare to glance down at his cock. It’s as if he didn’t realise it was still out. That he was still holding it, stroking it even, while he was looking at me. He pushes himself back inside his jeans and does up the zip as I continue. “Anyway, thanks for the show. It was fun. I might see you around some time.”

With that said, I turn and walk back up the corridor as fast as I can, suddenly feeling a little embarrassed about my brazen behaviour. Just as I’m about to reach the door, he comes up behind me and grabs my arm.

“It would have been more fun if it was with you,” he rumbles, sexily in my ear as he turns me, so I’m facing him. I try to step back, but all there is, is a door. He’s got me pinned. His endless blue eyes staring into mine as he cages me with his delicious body and strong, lickable arms. My head starts spinning with lust as I feel the dampness in my panties increase.

“I’d rather rub myself raw,” I whisper huskily, wishing my voice wasn’t giving me away. I wanted it to come out strong and confident, instead it told him exactly what my body wants. Him.

His eyes darken as he steps closer, his body pressed against mine. His cock, rock hard against my stomach. Without speaking, he reaches between us, and unbuttons my cut-offs, keeping his eyes locked with mine as he pushes the zipper down and slides his hand between my thighs. “Or, I could do it for you.” His finger slides between my folds, dipping inside the hot wetness of my pussy before rubbing over my swollen nub. I struggle to maintain my focus. I'm still trying to look strong. To look unaffected. But - o
h god.

My breathing deepens as he hums, this thick rumbling hum that seems to vibrate the air around us as his eyes stay locked with mine, and he pulses his fingers inside me. I can feel my cheeks burning as my mouth drops open. I’m about to explode.

“Cole! Are you out here?” a voice calls in the distance, at the exact time that I gasp out, my orgasm pulsing through me as he presses firmly against my clit.

“Cole!” they call again. He doesn’t answer. He just steps back from me, grinning as he licks my juices from his fingers, and I scramble to do up my cut-offs.

“Cole!” My eyes dart from him to the end of the hallway. The voice is getting closer. I open the door to the outside and retreat, leaving him to deal with whoever it was that was calling him.

“There you ar
e? What took you so long?” Carla calls out to me, from beside her black Holden V8.

“Oh, I… um…” I start, feeling thoroughly flustered after what just happened.

“Don’t worry about it. Let’s go.”

As I drive off with Carla
, I look toward the door where I left Cole, to find him standing outside, with his hands on his hips, watching me.

When we arrive back home, Carla gets me to help her carry some groceries inside. “I kinda quit cooking after you were taken. Thought it’s time I started again.”

As we unpack things and fill the cupboards with groceries, I try to work out what to say to her. We haven’t spent a lot of time together, and even though I now know it was all a lie – I’ve kind of spent most of my life hating her.

“Is this weird for you?” I blurt out suddenly, not being able to stand the tension anymore.

“Yes,” she exclaims. “I have to be honest, it’s very strange. I mean, the girl I lost was just a baby still. You know? In my mind, you always stayed that way. It’s real weird having this full grown woman showin’ up on my doorstep. Am I makin’ sense?”

“Yeah. You’re making perfect sense. For me it’s weird because Toby always told me that you didn’t want me. I always believed that you ran off on him and me to be a biker’s wife. So yeah, I get it. It’s weird for me too.”

“I guess we just have to move forward and get to know each other like friends would.”

“Yeah. I think that’s what we need to do.”

We stare at each other for a moment before we both crack smiles and move on to talking about what we’d like to make for dinner, eventually settling into an easy conversation that has nothing to do with my kidnapping or my sudden return.

Chapter Five

Laughter.

“Hold on tight.”

I’m flying. Around and around I go as she smiles at me. Her teeth straight and white, and her golden hair shining in the sunlight, as it flies out around us. She’s laughing. I’m laughing.

A pair of strong hands take me by the waist. “I’m an aeroplane!” I squeal, my arms held out to the side
as I’m held in the air.

When I’m lowered down, I’m held against a strong chest. My small fingers
comb through a light-brown beard. “I love your long face hair daddy.”

Sighing, I realise I’ve been crying again. This time, I’ve been crying in my sleep. Jesus Christ, when is this going to stop? I get out of bed and creep down the hallway to the room with my old things inside. Quietly, I move to where the photo frames are, and take the frame that shows my dream, and the loose photo of me laughing with Prez.

Hugging them to my chest, I take them back to my room
, slide them under my pillow and fall into a deep, dreamless sleep.

“Seriously? We do laundry?” I ask, as I follow Cora from room to room, collecting bedding during my second week in my parent’s world. They’re so busy all the time that I barely get the chance to see them until we go home at night, but I’m slowly getting used to them being in my life. I still feel sad all the time though, I think being a part of this club, and seeing how much everyone cares about each other really stabs at my heart and reminds me of everything I’ve missed.

After my run in with Cole,
I’ve been doing my best to keep busy and stay out of his way. And it seems that staying out of the bar and helping Cora instead, is definitely the way to do it. I’ve barely seen him at all. “Kind of seems like the strippers and the whores are getting the better deal around here,” I muse, balling up a pillowcase and shooting it in the big laundry trolley.

Just because I’m trying to keep away from Cole, doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about him… or hearing him. There have been more than a few times when I’ve walked past a rec room and spotted
him banging one of the girls, or overheard him in his room, making some poor girl scream. It must be that tongue piercing. Clench.

“Hun, there’s nothing nice about being fucked and cast aside on a daily basis.”

“True,” I say, speaking from personal experience as I help her strip another bed. “I guess I’m just used to being on the other side. It’s kind of normal to me.” I mumble the last part. I’m not really sure how much I want to explain. But I’ve got all these feelings and shit going on since I got here, and I kind of need to talk.

“Bein'
used by men?” she asks kindly.

“Yeah.”
I don’t tell her this part, but I’m so used to having sex as a major part in my life, that I’m kind of feeling weird without it, and there’s only so much a girl's hand can do. I’m even starting to look at vegetables longingly in the kitchen.

“Well, you’re Prez
and Carla’s daughter. You don’t have to do that anymore. You’re like an honorary old lady.”

“What does that even mean?”

“It just means that you're one of us. We’ll look after you.”

“So are you an old lady?”

“I was. I’m a widow now.”

“Sorry.”

“Don’t be sorry. He went out doing what he loves most - drinking and riding. He had a great life before that giant tree got in his way.”

Something about her story makes me realise. “Are you Cole’s mum?”

“As close as it gets,” she smiles, a proud twinkle in her eye. “He’s a good man. Just like his dad was before him."

I smile to myself. I don’t think I’ve ever met what could
be classed as a ‘good man’. I have no idea if Cole would be classed as one of them. But he’s something else – I’ll give him that.

“What happened to his real
mum?” I blurt out, noting how she winces a little at my choice of words. I curse myself inwardly. I should have thought that one out better.

“She’s gone.”

“Gone as in dead? Or gone as in she took off?”

“That’s not my stor
y to tell.”

We get back to work, and the entire
time; I'm thinking about Cole. Of course I am. The man, finger fucked me like a pro, and we’ve been avoiding each other ever since (well, I’ve been avoiding him, anyway).

Once we get all
the sheets into the washing machines, I excuse myself to go outside to have a smoke. There’s a cluster of plastic lawn chairs, sitting around an old burnt-out tin drum. It looks like and smells as though this is their fire pit.

I sit down, squinting against the sun as I light up and inhale. Today I’m wearing a pair of jeans,
Carla's old boots and a loose green singlet top. Even though these clothes are old, it’s nice having more than two things to choose from.

I’ve decided that I like it here. Well, I like it be
tter than what I had with Toby and Liam anyway. There’s probably a better life than this out there somewhere. But right now. I’m ok.

I hope you’re not looking for Cole,” a female voice says from behind me.

Monique teeters over the uneven ground on her ridiculous heels and stands in front of
me. Her leather pants are practically painted on her body, and her breasts are barely staying inside the leather vest she’s wearing. She’s really trying to look the part today. If a designer ever wanted to highlight ‘biker whore’ as the latest fashion trend, then Monique here would be your go to girl.

“Excuse me
?” I frown, flicking ash on the ground.

“Cole. I see how you look at him
. But, he doesn’t want you. Not really. Not like he wants me.”

“Looked to me like he just likes fucking your face and cumming on your tits,” I retort, my voice calm and calculating. All my life I’ve dealt with bitches. This one is no different from the rest.

“Don’t act so high and mighty. You used to be just like me. I heard you talking in there. Don’t think you’re any better just because your Prez’s long-lost daughter. You don’t know this life. I’ve been here way longer than you. I’ve earned my place.”

“You’re a fuck doll.”

“Fuck you, bitch!” she shrieks, lunging for me, her red nails bared like talons.

From where I’m sitting, I lift my foot and kick out, catching her square in the chest
with my boot. She topples backward, landing with a great thud on the dust and dirt. I get up, take one last drag of my cigarette as I pull my foot back and kick her in the side. She groans, her hands flying up to clutch at her side.

I stand over her, looking down at her laying there,
pitifully winded on the ground.

“Fuck you,” I say, dropping the butt of my smoke next to her head and stepping it out
as she freaks out that I might be burning her hair.

“What the fuck is
goin' on?” Prez asks from behind me. I spin around in surprise, and I’m faced with more than just him. Not only is Carla also with him, but there’s a whole bloody group of them, one of them being Cole, and he’s grinning. I’ll bet he fucking well knows we were just fighting over him.

“Nothing is going on. I finished it.”
I step over Monique as she continues to lie, gasping on the ground and I walk toward the front gate. I don’t particularly want to be here right now. Just when I was starting to feel good about being here, that bitch comes and ruins it for me. There should be some sort of rule about the fuck dolls (or whatever bloody biker word they have for them) talking to the old ladies and – what the fuck are they called? Shit, I’m so pissed off right now, I can’t even fucking remember. And who names their women ‘old lady’ anyway? Why can’t they just speak English?

I hear Carla tell Prez to let me go and cool off a bit, but I don’t hear much more than that as I increase the distance between us as I stomp
toward the gate. It doesn’t take long before I realise I’m being followed. I can hear footfalls landing in the dust behind me.

“Fuck off, Cole,” I growl, not even bothering to turn around.

“How’d you know I wasn’t your mum or your dad?”

“I just fucking did. Now leave me alone.” I reach the gate and pull on the chain. “Great. It’s a fucking prison from the inside too. How the hell do I get out?”

“You get let out.”

“Open the gate,” I yell out. Assuming that Banger dude, or someone just like him, must be hanging around somewhere with the keys.

He leans against the fence, locking those fucking orgasm inducing eyes with mine. All I can think about is him pushing me against the gate and fucking me properly this time. Fuck, I shouldn’t even be thinking like that.

I shake at the fence again. “Let me out!”

“I think you broke her ribs.”

“Good. Bitch fucking deserved it.”

“Did she now?”

“Yes. I want to leave. Please let me out.”

“Tell me what you was fightin’ about.”

I fold my arms over my chest, looking the other way. Looking anywhere but him. The way he’s looking at me. I’m about to fucking melt.

“Tell me,” he whispers, his voice rumbling into my ears, vibrating the cells of my body.

“I don’t need to. That
smug look on your face says you already know.”

"Baby," he murmurs, holding firm to my upper arms. "Don't screw me around."

Squirming, I glare at him boldly. "I'm not screwing you around, Cole. I'm not like that."

"Yes you
are. You've been mind fuckin' me from the moment you walked into this joint. Don't go acting all innocent and shit. You know exactly what you've been doing."

"Is that what you think of me?"

The leather of his jacket creaks as he leans in close to speak into my ear. So close that I can feel his lips as they brush against my lobe as he whispers. "That's exactly what I think."

"Then call me a prick tease and fuck off. I don't want your dick anywhere near me."

Chuckling, he shakes his head slowly. "Push me away all you want. But you're mine, and you know it. You were mine, the moment I saw you. I know you Maddie. You don't think anyone can know you. But I've been watchin' you. I know you plenty."

"You don't know shit," I grumble, placing my hands on his chest in a bid to push him away.

"Baby," he warns, overpowering me as he moves to slide his arms around my waist, pulling me, roughly, up against him. "Don't push me away, baby." His voice drops to a sexy murmur as his hands slide down to grip my arse. "No more screwing around."

I try to keep my wits about me. I don't need this. I don't need him. Even if he is super fucking hot. "I'm not interested in you, Cole!"

"Then why are you panting like a fuckin' bitch in heat?"

I pull my head back, an unimpressed look upon my face - that comment just made it
so much easier for me to say no.

"A
bitch in heat? Is that how you get chicks to drop their panties?"

Gripping my arse a little tighter, he looks into my eyes, grinning that ridiculously sexy grin of his. "I actually like to let my tongue do the convincing."

"Of course you do, and then you fuck them senseless don’t you? You’re a fuck ‘em and leave ‘em kind of guy," I bite out, sarcastically.

"Babe, I think it's time you let
me take you somewhere so my tongue can convince you."

My fingers gently brush the leather of his jacket as the image of him between my legs fills my mind. I shake it off. "In your dreams buddy."

"Every night since I met you, baby. Every fucking night." He leans in real close, his breath caressing my cheek as he speaks softly next to my ear. “You want me to claim you, baby?”

I shake my head, slowly from side to side. It’s not that I’m saying no. I’m just confused. I don’t know if that’s what I want. I don’t know if any of this is what I want.

“I…” I start. But I don’t have any words. I’m afraid. Afraid of what it’ll mean. I mean, I’ve done plenty of shit in my short time on this earth, and been with a countless number of guys. Do I really want to become some biker’s woman?

“I’m only askin’ you ‘cause you’re Prez’s daughter. No other woman would get a choice.”

“I…” I start again. But I just can’t seem to form the words. “Shit,” I hiss, annoyed with myself for being such a mess. “I just need to get out of here. I need to think a bit.”

“Maddie,” Carla says from a few feet away.

Cole immediately steps away from me. “This isn’t finished,” he says quietly before turning and walking back toward Prez, nodding at Carla respectfully on his way past.

“Is everything ok?” she asks when he’s moved away. “What’s goin’ on with you and Monique?”

“Nothing. She’s just being a bitch and I reacted. I’ve got a lot of shit going on in my head right now.” I lower my eyes and toe the dirt on the ground with my foot, knowing that if I meet her eyes she’ll see how affected by Cole I am.
