Their passion had reached a fevered pitch. He pulled her up,
kissed her
deeply then flipped her onto her back. Pausing only to slide the condom on, he spread her legs and thrust inside. Holding himself on locked arms, he stared into her face as he fucked her.

“Kiss me. Oh, Nick, kiss me,” she begged as he began moving.

Never breaking his rhythm, he lowered himself as she requested, kissing her passionately before trying to lift back up.

“No, kiss me,” she said again, holding his head in place and nibbling on his lips to prevent them from leaving hers.

Unable to resist her plea, he dropped and braced himself on his elbows. His rhythm increased as the sound of his skin slapping against hers played like music to his ears. Weaving his fingers through her hair, he panted his warm breaths as her tongue wreaked havoc in his open mouth. He knew he couldn’t last like this. Her tight, hot channel felt too damn good.

He trailed his kisses from her mouth, down her jaw and to her ear. “Come for me, baby. Come on my cock,” he whispered in her ear. He didn’t have much left, but there was no way he’d allow his body to give in before hers.

She scraped her fingernails across his back as her face tensed in pleasure and her pussy clutched him as if trying to keep him inside her forever.
Her climax enticed his, and no longer able to resist, he roared as his cock pumped one hot stream after the other deep inside her. Finally, when his body could offer no more, he fell to her side in a heap.

They were both breathless as they lay in a mutual embrace while recovering from another fiery union. With his chest heaving and his heart pounding, he trailed kisses from her shoulder up to her mouth where their lips met once more, but this time tenderly and gently.

He pulled her against him, and they cuddled closer. “You’re incredible, Kelsey,” he said honestly. For the first time, he was referring to more than just sex. This woman truly was incredible. She affected him in ways he had never experienced, far beyond any casual fuck he’d ever had. He didn’t even want to think of what morning would bring, but he didn’t dread waking to face it the way he had just a day ago.

“You’re pretty incredible yourself.” He could hear the fatigue in her voice, and grinned when she made a quick dash to the bathroom. Her sleepy eyes twinkled when she returned a few moments later.

He also took a minute to freshen up and returned to the bed, sliding under the shared blanket she offered. With his arms wrapped around her naked body and her gentle breath wafting against his chest, he closed his eyes, ending the day happier than he had been in quite some time.

For the first time in years, tomorrow held promise.

Chapter Five

The morning sun had barely cleared the horizon when the call of nature woke her from a sound sleep. Kelsey wasn’t sure if it was a good night’s rest or the impassioned activity of the previous night, but she felt fantastic. Not wanting to wake Nick, she slowly slid from the bed and tiptoed to the bathroom.

As she freshened up, she looked into the mirror, stunned to find a very different image staring back at her—a reflection of herself she had never seen. She wasn’t the same shy, awkward girl she had seen herself as the day before. Gone was the little girl whom everyone felt the need to protect. In her place was a woman—a confident, sexy woman, or so she pretended.

If she was honest with herself, and with the reflection staring back, she’d admit she was nervous as hell. How could she face him after the way she had acted last night? That wasn’t her. She had got lost in the heat of the moment, and was now left to tell her new lover that she was usually much quieter and more reserved than the way she had acted during their night of passion.

She clicked off the light before cracking open the bathroom door, pleased to see him still sleeping peacefully. Even after having been thoroughly satisfied several times, she longed to run her fingers across his sculptured torso, or trace the intricate lines of his prominent tattoo. She then scanned downward. She began to wonder if he was hard under the blanket.
Oh, for the love of… Let the man sleep, Kelsey.

She tiptoed back to bed and tucked herself underneath the covers, being careful to cover every inch of her naked body
.

“Regrets, Bright
Eyes?” Though he’d appeared to be asleep, he had apparently sensed her self-consciousness.

“No,” she said firmly, “no regrets.”

“Then what’s wrong?” He finally opened his eyes and propped himself up on his arm, his face softening in a way she’d not seen the night before.

She shrugged her shoulders then paused, summoning the strength to say the words.
What if he rejects me? What if he laughs? No, the guy I met last night wouldn’t do that.

“Kelsey?”

“Where do we go from here?” She averted her eyes as soon as the words had left her mouth.

His reaction was delayed, but then a smile etched across his face. She looked back to see the beginnings of a laugh and quickly rolled away. ”Oh, never mind. I get it.”

“Kelsey.” He tugged on her shoulder in an attempt to turn her over. “Baby, look at me, please?”

“No, it was a stupid question. Forget I asked. I have no delusions about what happened here last night.”

“What did happen last night?”

His question got her attention, and she finally turned to face him when she saw the sincerity in his face. She ran a mental inventory of the alcohol he’d drunk, unsure if it had clouded his memory. “You don’t remember?”

“I remember every minute. It was a night I’ll never forget. What I mean is what’s happening here—between us? Is it just sex?”

She looked into his eyes and felt much more relaxed. He was nervous, and she could see it. She was thankful he had asked the question she had been hedging around. “It wasn’t for me,” she whispered, brushing her hand along his face.

“It wasn’t for me either. I’d like to take you out, get to know you better, spend some time with you. Would you like that?”

She smiled at the way he made her feel at ease. He’d done it since the moment she’d approached him. What should’ve felt terrifying now felt
completely natural. “Yes, I’d like that.”

“Well, today is Sunday. Do you have to work today?”

“No.”

“Do you have plans?”

She giggled. “No.”

“Good. Then we can spend the whole day together. We can go out, hit the town.” His gaze drifted down her covered body. “Or we could stay
in.”
He tugged on the blanket to reveal her breasts. “You’re so beautiful.”

She closed her eyes and tilted her head back when she felt his silky lips against her neck. Her desire grew as he continued downward and began massaging her breast.

Suddenly, he lifted his head and groaned, “Oh, shit.”

“What’s the matter?”

“Do you have any rubbers?”

“What?”

“Condoms, baby, condoms. I only had two with me.”

“Well, actually…” She turned and rolled out from under him.

“Wha—?” He caught himself as he fell into the empty space her body had just left behind. “What’s the matter?”

Ignoring his question, she reached over, opened the nightstand drawer, and pulled out a small round compact. She popped one of the small pills through the plastic and tossed it in her mouth, followed by a large swig from the water bottle she always left beside her bed. “Do you think we need one?”

“I guess not. I don’t make a habit of screwing women
without protection. If you’re nervous about that, you don’t have to be. I’m clean.”

“I believe you, but I wasn’t worried. My instincts told me you could be trusted, otherwise I wouldn’t have spoken to you in the first place. And, for the record, I’m clean, too.”

“You believe me? Just like that?”

“Why would you lie? I’ve already had sex with you.” She laughed before turning serious. “The look in your eyes tells me you’re being straight with me.”

“You just keep surprising me, Bright Eyes.”

“Oh, yeah? How do I do that?”

He shrugged and nodded towards her pill case again. “You just don’t seem the type.”

“The type?” she questioned, raising her eyebrows.

“I don’t know. I got the feeling last night was unusual for you. I mean, I know you said you’d never brought a strange guy home with you but… I assumed you didn’t do things like this very often.”

“And if I did? Would that change your opinion of me?”

“No. I’m no one to judge, but I’m usually pretty good at sizing people up. I never took you for that type of woman.”

“That type of woman, huh?” She feigned offence. He had backed himself into a corner, and she enjoyed watching him try to talk his way out. She wanted to see him squirm.

“Um…no…that’s not what I meant to say. I meant…”

“Yeah? Go on, tell me what kind of woman I am because I take birth control pills.” She covered herself and folded her arms across her chest as she leaned against the headboard.

“I meant it in a good way, Bright Eyes.” He sat up beside her and flashed a well-practised smile. “It just takes a lot to surprise me, and you surprised me. That’s all I meant.” He patted her knee, a patronising move that she thought signalled the end of the subject—at least to him.

“Yeah, I can see how thinking I’m a whore could really be meant in a good way.” She was biting the inside of her cheek in a desperate attempt not to laugh. She would let him off the hook soon, but for now she was just enjoying this way too much.

“Baby, I don’t think you’re a…” He began to grovel when she must have given away something on her face. As his grin grew wider, so did hers. “Damn,” he laughed, shaking his head.

She burst out laughing, unable to control it any longer. “Oh, that was good. Oh, man, I had you!”

“You’re playing me? Oh, I’ll show you playing.” He laughed, pulled her beneath him and tickled her sides relentlessly.

Kelsey screamed, laughed and thrashed as he attacked. She was incredibly ticklish and, of course, he hit all the right spots as she unsuccessfully tried to escape his torment.

As they continued their frolic, the blankets slid off the bed, and Kelsey felt the draught against her exposed skin

Nick stilled his fingers and gave Kelsey a few seconds to catch her breath. Though her chest heaved with short quick breaths, she lay still as he pinned her beneath his strong body. She looked up and saw fire in his eyes, and she suddenly felt as if she were about to combust. “Nick,” she huffed in a heated whisper.

Oh, baby,” he groaned as he nipped hungrily at her lips.

The peppy ringtone of Kelsey’s phone echoed through the room, but neither paused from their kisses, which had quickly gained momentum. “Ignore it,” she mumbled against his mouth.

Without warning,
he flipped onto his back, pulling her on top of him. “No problem.” Sliding his hands up
her thighs, he guided her to straddle his waist in a perfect position to accept him.

The phone finally quieted as he pushed her shoulders back and began feasting vigorously on her tits, sucking and nipping until each of them peaked in return. She rubbed her slick folds over his hard cock as he continued to devour her breasts. The sensation was incredible. She had never been this aroused—this close to climax from just the suckling of her breasts, yet she could feel the stirrings deep inside her. “Oh, God… Oh, Nick…” she moaned, as she tossed her head forward. She looked into his eyes and shuddered from their intensity.

“What’s your last name?” She wasn’t sure what had caused the question to pop into her head at that moment, but she hadn’t been able to stop herself from asking.

“What?” His face not only showed his surprise, but a great deal of confusion.

She let out a soft, breathy giggle. “I don’t know your last name.”

“Hell of a time to ask, but it’s Jensen. Nick Jensen, at your service.”

“Oh, you are, are you?” she whispered seductively. “Well, Kelsey Braden needs servicing.” She rose up and guided his cock inside her pussy.

“Braden, huh… That’s a pretty… Oh, shit, baby, you feel so good.”

She leant down for a tongue-filled kiss as she began to glide up and down. “So do you, Nick. You feel good, too.”

“Ride my cock, baby. Fuck me hard and make me come.”

She felt empowered as she rocked atop him, and although she loved his dominance, she also liked having some control. She guided his hands to her hips, allowing him to help her find her rhythm.

The phone’s tune began again. Somewhere in the back of her mind she heard it, but she chose to ignore it. She never broke her pace and allowed her passion to consume her. This was what sex was supposed to be. This was what others always talked about, but she was experiencing for the very first time
.

“I’m so close, Nick. Make me come.”

“Shit, yes,” he grunted and sped up his movements. He lifted his hips from the bed each time she lowered herself.

She fell forward, framing his head between her arms as she surrendered and groaned her release. She felt the pleasure in every muscle, nerve and fibre of her being, and wanted to hold onto that feeling as long as she possibly could.

“Damn, baby.” His staccato grunts combined with his tightened grip told her they were perfectly in sync. The feel of him coming inside her was a sensation she never wanted to forget.

Her body went lax on top of him, completely spent. She wanted to tell him how good he made her feel, but no words could express it. She just hoped he felt a fraction of the pleasure he gave her.

Once again the phone rang to life. “Someone really wants to get in touch with you, Bright Eyes,” he said lazily. His eyes were closed, and wrapping his limp arms around her seemed to be the most effort he could expend
.

“It’s my sister,” she mumbled into his neck. “That’s her ringtone.”

He gave her a soft chuckle. “Isn’t she gonna wonder where you are?”

“It’s Sunday. I’ll tell her I was in church.” She finally dragged her body off his and cuddled up beside him. She knew she should clean herself up before falling asleep, but there was no way her body would cooperate.
