“Look, Tabby, I understand that you are hurt that he has rejected you, but, it’s not because of me. It’s been over a year and you know it’s your fault it didn’t work. Don’t blame me, blame yourself.” I hung up after before she could say anything else. I called for Samantha to come into my office.

“What’s wrong, Amaya?” she asked as she entered. “Who was that on the phone?”

“That, my love, was Tabitha.” Samantha’s mouth dropped open and she nearly missed the chair as she sat.

“No! What did she want?” she said.

“Apparently she is aware of my weekend, my entire weekend. Down to the food we ate and the manner in which it was eaten.”

“No! Do you think she is stalking him?”

“I don’t know. She said things about why she thinks Nicholas is with me. What if the things she said are true?”

“Girl, stop it now,” Samantha said.

“You are good at doubting yourself, just stop. He wants you. Deal with it and get out of your head.” Sam got up and walked to the door when my phone began to ring. I looked at the ID and saw that it was Nicholas.

I looked up at Samantha as I answered the phone, checking for her reaction.

“Amaya Davis speaking.” My tone was professional and unsure with a hint of why are you calling me.

“Who are you at lunch with?” His tone was questionable.

“Lunch? I’m not at lunch, Nicholas. I’m in my office with Samantha. Why would you think I was at lunch?”

“Tabitha said she wasn’t able to get in touch with you when I asked her to call your office.”

“Oh really? She said that. She did call, and I spoke with her. Actually listened to her complain about me dating you. That is what we are doing right, dating?” My answers were short with a hint of vinegar on them to mimic the taste she left in my mouth. “Do you think she’s jealous?” Samantha scoffed, walked back to her desk, and closed my door. I placed my feet on my desk and lay back waiting for his response.

“I think she may be a little uneasy about me being in a relationship that doesn’t include her.” I could tell that he was frustrated, okay a lot frustrated with the mumblings he was emitting.

“Why were you looking for me, Mr. Hansen?” I said in a sultry tone, trying to reel his emotions back in.

“I wanted to see how your day was going.” His tone changed to match mine

“It’s been crazy. Extremely busy and exciting.” I told him about the fanfare that was going on as I stepped off the elevator and the event that was being worked on by Gabrielle per Binnings request.

“Would you mind escorting me?” I asked.

“I know my dad has this thing, but I’ll be more than happy to meet you there.”

“Okay. I understand about family business. I expect you to be there as soon as you are finished.” I didn’t want to let the concern escape my voice. Knowing that Tabitha was not happy about Nicholas dating made me think she would not stop trying to keep us apart.

“I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.” His reply was soft, sexy, and seductive. “You know that skirt looked good on you this morning.” I could hear a door close in the background. “I took a picture of you while you were putting your hair up just to look at you all day.”

“That sounds borderline stalker.” I laughed a little.

“To be honest, I really wanted to lift it up and fuck you hard and fast. When I look at your picture, that’s all I can think about.” His words sent electricity flowing through my body straight to my core. I could feel my panties getting damp and as I thought about it more, I began breathing a little erratically.

“Maya why are you quiet? Are you getting wet?”

“I, I don’t know,” I stammered out.

“Slip your fingers down there and tell me.”

“Nicholas, no. I am at work.”

“Maya, I’m stroking my cock at the sound of your voice and the sight of your picture. Surely, you can do this. You have to be my hands since I can’t touch you and feel for myself.” I decided to go along with our office rendezvous. I reached down and felt the wetness that was invading my panties.

“Yes,” I whispered. I began to touch myself and rub on my clit harder as I could hear the sound of him moaning as he stroked his cock.

“Fuck baby, I can’t wait to see you tonight.”

“I can’t either, Nicholas.” I softly moaned his name as his heavy breathing was turning me on.

“Yes, baby.”

“What would you do if you were here in my office?”

“For starters, I would sit in your chair and watch you unbutton that tight white shirt you have on so I could see those beautiful tits. Then I’d make you straddle me and I would take your nipples in my mouth and slowly suck on them like you like it.” I began rubbing my nipples as he talked about licking, sucking, and biting on them. All the things I liked. “Next I would stand you up and bend you over your desk, lift your skirt, and move your panties to the side and ram into you hard.” His words were lethal to my undoing.

“Nick. Fuck, I’m coming.” I rubbed my clit until I reached my orgasm and I let out a moan that was almost audible outside my door. How does he do this to me? I could hear him muffle his sound as he reached his orgasm.

“Fuck, Amaya. You fucking turn me on over the phone.”

“You turn me on too. You speak to and command my body and it obeys.” I pulled my panties off as there was no need to keep them on as wet as they were.

“Be sure to bring an overnight bag tonight because I’m not letting you go.”

“Okay.”

“I’ll see you soon.”

“Bye.” We hung up and I was beyond spent. I took a few moments to gather my composure, grab my wipes out of my drawer, and clean up.

Samantha knocked at my door and entered.

“Are you okay? I thought I heard noises.” She had a sly grin on her face and I’m pretty sure she knew what was going on.

“Not now, Samantha,” I replied.

“What is going on between you two? You look like you got it bad. You’ve been goo-goo eyed all day. You are not focused, you are daydreaming, and you just let him phone fuck you. Is it that good?” I couldn’t look at her. Not only was I involved in a relationship, the one thing I swore off, but I was doing things I would never do, like phone sex.

“Samantha, I have things on my mind that is all. I am focused, I may not seem like I’m paying attention, but I am. Hell, you know me; I tend to overanalyze things and will keep thinking of shit over and over and over in my mind until I put it to rest.”

“Just relax and enjoy yourself. Lord knows you deserve it, all of it. Got any plans tonight? Wanna grab dinner?”

“I actually do have plans. I’m having dinner with Mr. Hansen and he invited me to stay over.”

“What? You stay away from home on a work night. That dick must be magical.” Ever since my childhood, I always had this Monday thru Friday five o’clock p.m. was all work, the fun came after.

“Not exactly magical, but it can make me sing notes unheard of.”

“I want full details tomorrow. I have to live through someone’s love life.” She said as she was leaving.

“Good night, Samantha. Hugs and kisses?”

“Hugs and kisses.”

I drove home thinking about what happened in my office, what Samantha and I discussed, what Tabitha said over the phone, and I kept saying to myself how am I supposed to process all this? I took a deep breath and turned up the radio. I was singing along and enjoying the moment as the music uplifted me and took my mind off my internal battle. There were guys at the light who honked their horns and made catcalls, but I ignored them. I had only one man on my mind and I couldn’t wait to see him. I arrived at my place and grabbed an outfit for work, lingerie, and a little something special for Nicholas. I had a plan in mind, but depending on how the evening turned, it might not work.

I arrived at his place but stayed in my car daydreaming about what I envisioned the evening would be like. Remembering his voice over the phone, and how it rendered so much passion and control within me that I did something I would have never thought of doing, was becoming arousing. I loved surrendering to him. My last relationship kept me in fear after he forced me to have sex with him until I finally left that man. Now I wanted to give myself to Nicholas, all of me. I was overthinking and began to feel unsure. I got out of my car, grabbed my things, and headed into the building.

I waited for the doorman to buzz me in.

“Good evening, miss. Whom are you visiting?” he asked.

“Nicholas Hansen.” My reply was quiet but audible.

“My, he's a busy young man today,” he replied as he picked up the phone to announce my arrival. That response made me wonder who had been by to see him. Was it Tabitha? Is she trying to get him back? I closed my eyes to clear the thought before I hurt myself jumping to conclusions.

“Miss, you can go up now,” he announced.

“Thank you,” I replied. I had pressed the button for the elevator when my phone rang.

“Amaya Davis speaking.”

“Hey. Open the door when you get up here. I have to take a quick shower.” My words escaped me as I processed what I was hearing.

“Are you all right, Maya?” Panic had stricken me as I thought about what the doorman said and now he is taking a quick shower. I shook the feeling and thought off.

“Sure. I uh, spaced out. I'm tired I guess. Work was really busy today.”

“I'll help you relax when you get up here.” I breathed a sigh of relief as the doors to the elevator opened.

“Stepping off the elevator now.”

“Okay. The shower will be quick.”

When I opened the door, a smile appeared on my face. A floral arrangement was on the table with a card attached with my name on it. I had to open it:
“Congratulations!”

I smiled at the gesture and my concerns were put at ease. It was a simple stargazer bouquet, another member of the lily family. I looked around at the table set up as if we were at a private restaurant. There was a bottle of wine chilling, two glasses, a salad plate, dinner plate, and the silverware. A tea light candle was in a centerpiece shaped like a lantern. There was soft jazz playing on his sound system and the lights were dim.

“Maya, you look beautiful,” he said as he entered the room, catching me off guard. He walked over to me, gave me a kiss on my cheek, and took my things. My response was a simple smile.

“Follow me,” he said. We went into his room and he showed me where my things would be. He had cleared a small space in his closet for me to hang my outfit and place my shoes. When I stepped out of the closet, he handed me a small present.

“Open it.”

“I don't know what to say.” I was excited when I opened the box and inside it was a Sonic toothbrush, Waterpik Flosser, and toothpaste. I laughed at the gift and he took pleasure in hearing how amused I was.

“Thank you, I think.” I knew it was a stab at my dental hygiene quirks, but it was an expensive one.

“I figured it beats having to pack a toothbrush. When you come over it'll already be here.”

“Thank you. The thought is sweet and I appreciate it.” He leaned in and kissed me.

“You're welcome.” His eyes locked in on mine, staring straight to the core of my body, and I was getting hot as he moved an errant piece of hair from my face. “Now come on, let's go eat.”

We took our seats and he poured us a glass of wine.

“Chef Nick, what did you prepare for us?”

“I hope you like Italian,” he said as he headed to the server bar of the kitchen.

“I love Italian.” He began placing the salad on the plates to start.

“We have Caesar salad to start and then chicken parmesan for the main course.”

“I love chicken parmesan.”

“Really? Me too. I was hoping you liked it. I'm pretty good at making it. My mom taught me how when I was younger.”

“Oh, you like to cook?” I asked, intrigued by his culinary skills.

“Yes, but I bake better, though. It's one of my stress relievers.”

“What are your other stress relievers?” Nicholas looked at me with that smile in his eyes.

“Let’s say you haven't experienced it yet.” When I think about the time that we have spent together over the last weekend, I think to myself if I haven't seen it, I'm not sure if I want to.

“What about you Maya, do you cook?”

“Yes, I cook when I have time. I also bake. My mom was a caterer before she opened up her bakery, so we had to learn how to cook. Every Saturday, Mom would have us in the kitchen chopping and peeling or mixing and things stuck with me.” He looked at me seemingly intrigued and I felt like I was on the spot.

“I would love for you to cook for me sometime.”

“We can see about setting something up, Mr. Hansen. Maybe I can serve one of your favorites.”

A faint smile appeared as he got up and walked over behind me and whispered in my ear, “Are you ready for the main course?” My knees got weak having his mouth that close to my neck and ear.

“Yes, Nick, I'm ready.” I could hardly breathe with my hormones trying to start a battle.
