He glanced at Mel, trying to get the other man’s attention. It was getting late and this was the last night they would spend in the seclusion of his home for at least ten days. If they were going to complete their bond, tonight was the night to do so.

I’ve been trying to wave you over here for the last twenty minutes,
he said through their mind link.
If we’re going to mate Milla tonight, we need to go. We’ll be in the hotel tomorrow and while we could do it there, for some reason I would rather do it in our home.

Mel glanced at him with surprise.
Did you just say,
our
home?

Of course I did. Where did you expect us to stay—at the boarding house?
He shook his head.
Look, as much as it might pain you to know this, I really don’t have anything against you. You’re a good man. That’s why I saved your life in the first place. I just don’t like the fact that you’re an ungrateful prick. So what if I’m not an all-shifter. There wasn’t one available to give you blood. Would you rather be dead?

Ending his conversation, Mel crossed the room, drawing Milla’s attention along the way. She began to follow him. She was a smart girl. She knew they only had tonight and she was as eager to end the painful burn as they were.

“You’re right. I am an ungrateful prick,” Mel said as he stopped in front of him. “Can we bury the proverbial hatchet?”

Jonas studied the other man. He was sincere. He could see it in his stance and the expression on his face. “What the hell…why not?” He held out his hand.

Mel took it and pulled him into a short hug. “Thanks for saving my life, man. I bet you’d have thought twice about it if you’d have known you’d have to share a mate with me.”

“No, actually, I wouldn’t. I would still save your sorry ass because Milla needs you. As much as any of us might hate to admit it, our mates need us as a unit. They wouldn’t be as happy. Together, we can make Milla happier than either of us could on our own.” Jonas believed that just as surely as he believed the sun would rise the next morning.

“Are we ready to leave?” Milla asked as she walked up and stepped between them. Wrapping an arm around their waists, she smiled up, alternately rubbing the length of her body against them. “I don’t know about you guys, but I’m tired. I think it’s time for bed.”

“Yeah, me too.” Mel moved toward the door, pulling them behind him. “Besides, we have to pack.”

Leaving, they made their way back to the house. Milla’s things were still packed and Jonas always kept a bag in case he needed to leave town in a hurry. Rescues didn’t always come with a warning.

Mel was the only one who’d need to pack and he’d need to do that the next day. His things were at the boarding house.

“How long do you think it will take to pack your things and get them over to the lodge, Mel?”

“Not long. Most of my things are still in my duffle bags. I never bothered to unpack.”

“You’ve been living out of a suitcase for several years?”

Mel shrugged. “I lived out of those bags for the twenty years I was in the Army. I’m used to it.”

“Nobody should ever get used to that.” Milla climbed into his truck, slid to the center of the bench seat and fastened her seatbelt. “I know. I’ve lived that way for the last few months and it sucks. I never should have sold my trailer. It was my home.”

“You have a new home now, love.” He leaned over, pressed a quick kiss to her cheek and started his truck. Glancing at Mel, he said,” We’ll go to my house tonight. You’re of a similar size. You can wear something of mine tomorrow to go get your things.”

“Great.” Mel said as he climbed in and shut the door. “Now, can we get back to the house and get busy?” He pressed his hand against his stomach. “The burn is coming back.”

Chapter Nineteen

Jonas threw his keys on the table next to the door when they entered the dark house. He barely waited for Mel to close the door behind them before he took her in his arms, pulling her tight against his aching body.

He kissed Milla deeply, then pulled back when she didn’t respond quickly. “What’s wrong?”

“Before we…” She cleared her throat. “Before we finish this, can I see your other sides?” She turned to Jonas. “I know I’ve seen yours, but I didn’t see how you got there. I’d really like to see how you do it.”

He pulled back and glanced at Mel who gave him a worried look. “You want to see us shift?”

“Well, I don’t think it’s too much to ask, under the circumstances.”

“No,” Jonas agreed. “It isn’t.”

He led them through the downstairs and out onto the back patio. The air smelled clean, a mixture of the roses that surrounded the house in a rainbow of color and chlorine from the pool and hot tub.

“We can show you out here. I thought perhaps completing our bond in the hot tub, would be a good idea, anyway. It will help ease sore muscles.”

“Over the last week, Jonas had been very solicitous, always seeing to her needs. She couldn’t help but smile at his comment.
They
wouldn’t have a sore anything. It would all be her on that end of the stick.

Slowly, Jonas stripped off his clothes and turned to face her. Milla’s throat went dry as she stared at him. He was perfect. From his expressive espresso-colored eyes to his wide chest lightly dusted with dark hair down to his washboard abs. He was perfect and he was hers.

Closing his eyes, he stood straight before her one moment, and the next he stooped, his bones snapping and changing, his face elongating into a muzzle and his hands and feet becoming paws tipped with razor-sharp claws.

Milla could do nothing but stare. She shifted her gaze to Mel, who didn’t strip. Instead, he just shifted. One minute, he stood before her in his jeans and t-shirt, the next he was a leopard, his coat gold with black spots dotting his skin.

He stared at her with his predator’s gaze and Milla swallowed thickly. “Can you understand what I say when you’re like that?” She hoped so. Otherwise, they’d have to change back before she could say what she wanted to say and she wasn’t sure she could say it to the men. Their cats were another thing altogether.

They both nodded. Jonas moved closer to her, his head butting her thigh while Mel laid on the ground, resting at her feet.

“Good.” She wrung her hands. “I need to say this so don’t interrupt me.” She gave a little hysterical giggle. “Before I came here, I dreamed of a place where I could settle down and make a life for myself. I never dared to imagine that I would find a place like Paradise. I never once dreamed I could find one man like either of you, let alone two.” She paced over to the hot tub and sat down on one of the seats beside it.

“In the last week, you both have told me you love me. You’ve made me feel loved, even cherished.” Tears filled her eyes and fell down her cheeks. “I just wanted you to know that I—” She caught her breath on a sob. “I love you, too, and I can’t wait any longer to become your mate. I only hope that I’m good enough for you.”

She knew she was good enough for any one man. What gave her pause was being afraid that she wasn’t quite good enough for two. There were so many women out there looking for men to love. What right did she have taking two off the proverbial market?”

“You’ll always be good enough for us, love.” Jonas shifted back to his human form, though he still knelt at her feet, staring up into her eyes. “We’ve been worried that
we
wouldn’t be good enough for
you
.”

“You see how this works is,” Mel said as he sat next to her. “We spend our lives making you happy because we’re sure that one day you’ll realize you’ve been slumming and leave us for someone better.” He grinned. “But you won’t because you’ll be tied to us, just as surely as we’re tied to you because of the mating heat. The gods have decreed we belong together. I doubt anything we do, any insecurity we have, will ever change that.”

“How do you two always seem to know what to say?” She sobbed as they each held her close. “I-I love you so much.”

“And we love you,” they both said at the same time.

“You’re our miracle,” Jonas said against her ear as he unbuttoned her shirt.

“You’re our deliverance,” Mel added as his deft fingers worked at the button on her jeans before he pushed the zipper down.

Milla’s breath caught in her throat as they both kissed the side of her neck, their pronounced incisors scraping erotically against her pulse.

“And you’re my heroes,” she said with a smile. “You always will be.”

Milla floated on a sensual, erotic haze as the two men kissed her, their hands skimming over her flesh. They grew warm, all of them feeling the intense heat of the
el calor
as her clothes seemed to melt away under the experienced fingers of her mates.

Jonas lifted her, carrying her into the hot tub where he set her on a low seat. The water bubbled and churned around them relaxing her.

Reaching out, she took each of them in her hands, her fingers dancing up their swollen shafts, feeling the large veins running the length of their hard cocks. They groaned simultaneously, the sound heady. She did that. She made these two uber hot men feel such desire they literally groaned with it. The thought that she could do that to them was empowering.

They bent their heads, each of them taking a nipple in his mouth and she gasped. This was what they had all waited for. This was what the
el calor
drove them to do and it was wonderful.

Reaching up, she thrust her fingers into their hair and pulled them close. She loved the feel of their silky hair on her skin, their lips and tongues dancing over her flesh, taking her to heaven.

Mel slid his hand down her stomach to her waist, then lower still, his fingers sliding between her labia. His fingers circled her clit before thrusting his fingers deep inside her. Milla’s inner muscles clenched. She stiffened and groaned. “God, this is so hot.”

She wasn’t talking about the
el calor.
The two men continued suckling her nipples as Mel’s talented fingers thrust in and out of her, his thumb stroking her sensitive clit with every strong thrust. Milla clung to them, her head thrown back, pushing her breasts up to meet their hungry mouths.

Without warning, Mel pulled his mouth from her breast, grasped her thighs in his hands and lifted her from the water. Parting her legs, he shoved his face between her thighs and sucked her clit into the heat of his mouth.

Milla screamed as her first orgasm washed over her. Mel still held her up, his tongue alternating between thrusting deep and flicking over the erect and sensitive bundle of nerves.

When Jonas reached across her chest and pinched the nipple Mel had abandoned, another wave of pure sensation washed over her. Milla screamed through another release, her body going limp. She wasn’t sure if she could take anymore and they hadn’t even started.

Mel finally lowered her back into the water and moved, reclining on the built-in lounge.

“Are you ready?” Jonas asked as he lifted her limp body into his arms.

“Yes,” Milla replied. It was the truth. She was more than ready. In fact, she couldn’t wait. One thing was certain, these two men knew how to pleasure a woman, and now it was their turn. Milla couldn’t wait to see their eyes glaze over with lust. She couldn’t wait to feel them pounding inside her. Most of all, she couldn’t wait to be able to call these men her own.

Jonas lowered her over Mel’s reclining form. Spreading her legs, she straddled him, taking his hard length inside her, dripping channel.

Reaching up, Mel pulled and twisted her hard nipples. She rode him, her body slightly bobbing up and down as he drove his hips up with a moan.

“Gods, baby, you’re so tight.”

Jonas slid two well-oiled fingers into her, stretching the tight ring of her anus. “And she’s only going to get tighter,” he said with a groan.

“Lean forward, love.” Jonas pressed gently between her shoulder blades. Milla leaned forward, her chest resting against Mel’s. Finally, she would be theirs in every way.

Moving behind her, Jonas knelt between Mel’s spread legs. Leaning forward, he pressed the head of his cock against her anus, slowly pushing forward.

Jonas had been right. She was tighter now with one hard cock in her pussy and the other tunneling up her ass. It took several short strokes before she felt his hips resting against her rear. His hands held her hips as he waited for her body to adjust to their possession.

After a few minutes, he withdrew, slowly thrusting back in while Mel waited for something. She wasn’t sure what. After several long strokes, Jonas picked up the pace and she moaned. She needed something more, but she didn’t know what.

Rising up, she rubbed her nipples against Mel’s chest with a low moan. Apparently, that was what he’d been waiting for. Grasping her hips, Mel pulled her down just as he thrust up inside her, working out a rhythm with Jonas. Like a well-oiled machine, the two pistoned inside her, one thrusting in while the other withdrew.

Climax after climax ripped through Milla’s consciousness. She could barely think. She could only feel. As the two men rammed into her again and again, her awareness faded, focusing on only one thing—the multiple orgasms tearing through her, repeatedly driving her over the edge of ecstasy and back once again.

Just when she thought she couldn’t climax one more time, Mel rose up, kissing her where her neck met her shoulder. Jonas leaned over her, doing the same on her other side. When they both bit deep, Milla screamed one last time as they both came into her and a comforting warmth settled deep inside her.

“Now we’re bonded and no one can take you from us. We’ll always know where you are.” Mel, palmed the back of her head and kissed her deeply.

“You no longer have anything to fear from Perry. He cannot harm you and he will not get close enough to you to enter his dreams. If he does, we will be there with you.”

“Be there with me?” Milla frowned.

Yes. Our Truebond gives us a mental link. If Perry ever enters your dreams again, he will find us and we will not tolerate him.

Milla smiled, her mind already drifting off. “That’s nice.”
