Turned on by the raunchy remarks, she shifted on the floor, thinking hard on a way to salvage the situation. Admittedly, she’d wondered what he’d do if she called his manhood into question, and she wasn’t surprised by his response, not really. He wanted to fuck and so did she.

“Smoke.” She pulled his head up from lapping her nipples. “Smoke,” she said louder.

“Huh?” he asked, keeping his eyes on her chest.

“We’re on the floor in the family room.”

“Uh-huh.”

“Of your best friend’s house.” He’d continued to nibble on her peaks adding wet hot moisture to the flood below. In a few minutes she wouldn’t care where they were, she had to get his attention quick.

“Yeah.” She slapped his rear cheeks. He moaned.
Damn that was hot.

“Smoke,” she snapped, aggravated because no matter how badly she wanted him, she couldn’t do this here. Her body rebelled at the high moral ground she stepped on, her vaginal walls pulsed in outrage at her unilateral decision, and her mind blanked when his mouth pulled her nipple into the warmth of his mouth.

“We can’t do this here,” she growled, totally unprepared when he stood suddenly, and pulled her with him. Breast bared, he pulled her down the hall into the room she’d slept in previously. Without a backward glance, he locked the door and latched onto her mouth. Their feet moved backward until the bed stopped their progress and accepted their weight. Unbridled in the privacy of her temporary quarters, her inhibitions fled as she grabbed his warm heavy cock. Her mouth watered as she wiped the pre-cum from the head with her fingertip and tasted his salty goodness.

“Ummm,” she moaned as he pinched one nipple and sucked hard on the other. On autopilot, her legs opened wider in surrender. Later she’d deal with the repercussions; right now, his unspoken offer to meet her needs took precedent.

“You like that?”

“Yessss,” she hissed as his erection rubbed against her lower lips, teasing additional moisture into her drenched panties. With both hands, he removed her top and bra. A fingertip tapped beneath the full globe sending it bouncing before he grabbed both, pushing them together and alternately licked, nipped and sucked.

Her back arched from the bed as fire ricocheted to her core, like gasoline increasing her blaze of desire. In a minute, she’d be begging him to fuck her, and that would not do. Determined to leave her own mark, she squeezed and stroked his shaft, loving the juices that flowed from the slit. When he trembled, she smiled. When his rhythm on her breasts altered, she high-fived herself. When he roared, pulled her pants and panties down in one stroke before filling her to the hilt, she lost her mind.

The haze of lust clouded Smoke's mind. One goal, one task controlled his actions. He needed more, needed release. The walls surrounding him tightened. In and out, back and forth, he pumped harder, angled deeper. Neck stretched, like a thoroughbred he headed for the finish line. A shriek, a scream, the pulsating walls milking, pulling him deeper. His back arched, thighs tightened, and toes curled as his release roared through him. His pleasure echoed in the room as his body shook. Heart racing, he couldn’t breathe. What a time to remember his bruised ribs. But it was so worth it. Good pussy, nothing on earth compared. On his return to reality, the stings from her nails and teeth marks served witness to what happened.

“You okay?” Rolling over he glanced at her, and took pride at the look of devastation she wore.

“Uh-huh.” She pulled at the blanket. He moved as she covered herself.

“Mind if I lie in here with you for a while, get some rest?” He yawned.

“No snoring.” She rolled toward him.

He pulled her close. Loose strands from her hair tickled his nose; her perky breasts stabbed his chest. He rubbed her shoulders. She moaned and snuggled. He smiled. No one would call him a romantic. He wasn’t. But he did know and understand enough about romance to get what he wanted. He mastered the game. Cuddling wasn’t in his playbook. Vianca Marino. Her name should’ve warned him she’d be hot in bed. His cock stiffened in salute to the tight fit and excellent workout it’d just received.

One hand drifted to her perfect high J-Lo ass. He’d noticed it when she came to grab a bite to eat after they arrived and lost his train of thought. Instead of relating his debacle, his tongue twisted until Ross changed the subject, smiling at his obvious distraction.

His wandering hand squeezed the tight globe, pulling her onto his hard, hungry cock. As her eyes opened, he prayed she could take him again. A fingertip ran the seam of her ass. She moistened her lips and moved sluggishly on top of him. Juices from their earlier play lubricated his stomach increasing his excitement. Without thought, he lifted her.

“Line it up,” he said, grateful she grabbed his length and placed it at her entrance. With slow deliberateness, he controlled the pace of her descent, watching her face, pleased with her sighs and moans of pleasure. Soon different sounds, sounds of slapping flesh, punctuated the air.

“Give it to me, Papi,” she howled as he picked up the pace, slamming his cock and slapping her ass. He took a moment to gaze at her as she reached her peak. Pony-tail flopping, eyes closed, mouth opened, emitting no sound. Her pussy clamped down, sending him spiraling to completion. She fell forward to his chest and licked his nipple. He shivered.

“Hmmm, I’ll have to remember that,” she whispered.

“You can do anything you want to me, I’m easy.” He pulled her hair from her face and kissed her forehead before pulling the covers over both of them.

“You’re still in me.” Vianca tried to move, but he held her tight.

“I know. I like that.” He stroked her back until she settled.

“Gotta get some work done,” she murmured, lips against the pulse in the crook of his neck.

“Later,” he whispered, as his eyes grew heavy now that he was sated. “We’ll find them, right now rest with me.”

“‘
Kay.”

Vianca’s face burned when she and Smoke entered the dining room later that afternoon. After what seemed too brief a nap, the man woke her with long, deep strokes that curled her toes and probably her hair. On her knees, he showed no mercy as he pumped his thick cock into her wet, slippery vee-jay. The sounds of their sex-play were loud and furious. The man was a shouter. Now she dealt with the embarrassment of walking slowly, aching in places she’d forgotten existed and his friends knowing she’d been thoroughly screwed.

“Dinner’s in the oven if you’re hungry,” Cherise said, smiling smugly.

“Bless you, I’m starving,” Smoke said, winking at Vianca. She could’ve slapped that superior grin off his face even though he’d earned it. She was ruined for lesser mortals; the man was a god in bed. If fucking were a sport, he would definitely be in the finals.

“I’m going to grab my laptop and try to get some work done,” she said, not returning his grin.

“We’ll be heading to my crib in a little while,” Smoke said grinning. “You can work there.” She breathed a sigh of relief. Although his friends were the exception to her
no gringo
rule, her past wouldn’t allow her to relax her guard completely. Even though these men were engaged and lived with black women, too much had happened in her past, too many ugly memories, too much pain for her to change her opinions so quickly.

“All right.” Moving into the family room, she glanced at the sofa and the area where they’d almost had sex. She knew her face blazed brilliant red. Stoically, she packed away her equipment and knew the moment Cherise entered the room. Tamping down her irritation, she reminded herself she was a guest and had just had sex in this woman’s house. She pasted a smile on her face and turned.

“I just came to tell you not to be embarrassed; you’re a grown woman with needs. And Smoke’s like a brother to me, but I’ll share this with you.” She leaned forward. “He’s a nice guy. Beneath all that bluster, he’s really cool. I figured I’d let you know that since you’re interested in him.”

Vianca stared, mouth agape. “Interested? No, you misunderstood. We had sex, that’s all. Hot, sweaty, see-the-stars, no strings attached sex.”

“So you’re not interested? You’re using him to scratch an itch?” Cherise frowned but kept eye contact with her.

“I’ll be honest with you.” Vianca stepped closer, her voice lowering. “The man is all kinds of fine, and fucks like a machine, but that’s all it is. This case will be over and I
will
be leaving.” For some reason she needed to reaffirm her goals, hear them aloud, and keep them in sight. It’d be easy to forget and become accustomed to the Mack-daddy-sex she’d just received.

Cherise nodded, a look of disappointment stamped across her face, and walked out. Moments later, Smoke strode in while she secured her equipment.

“Have you talked to Fernando today?” He sat in the leather armchair watching her.

“No I haven’t. Has something happened?” All movement stopped, she tamped down her anxiety. Fernando was one of the few people on Earth who gave a damn about her. He’d helped her when no one else could be bothered. Once her dad remarried and had kids with his new wife, she became invisible. Birthdays, holidays, she became an afterthought. Fernando came to visit her in college, was the only one to show up at her graduation, and offered her a job when she was floundering after college. They’d worked together ten years and he was the tether to her family. He was the only family that mattered.

Smoke shook his head. “No. It’s just he hasn’t answered any of the numbers he gave me. I wondered if he was okay.”

She exhaled and continued wrapping up her equipment, her mind on his words. “Everything check out at your place?” His silence made her uncomfortable, especially after the afternoon they’d shared.

“Yeah, Ross handled it and feels it all good. I’m just waiting for Winston.”

“Winston?” She pivoted throwing him a glance.

“My younger brother. He showed up a coupla days ago. We had a slight disagreement after I got back; he’s been at the office with Denise and Cherise all day.” He shrugged. “When he gets here, we’ll leave. I sent him to pick up my car.” His tense posture spoke volumes, but since he refrained from speaking further she asked a question.

“You’re cool with him here during all this mess?” Laptop and cords in hand, she thought about the men after her. Things could get complicated in a hurry with family members involved. “Maybe, I could head out to Texas.”

“Why Texas?”

“I know some people there. I can hide out.” She paused trying to decipher his poker face. “Listen, your friends have kids, families, you have your brother. They don’t need to have this trouble come to their door.”

“There you go again, questioning my manhood.” He shook his head.

“What?” she squeaked. “I never… I didn’t question—”

“You implied you’d save everyone by moving away. What do you think that means?”

“It means I’m being considerate, thinking of others,” she snapped, aggravated he’d read something more into it.

Ross and Cherise walked in before he responded. “Veronique wants to know if you’re down for a conference call.” Vianca glanced at Smoke, who nodded. She shrugged, placed her computer and cords down on the table. Smoke beckoned her over to him; she sat on the arm of his chair. Two pats on her thigh before he signaled to Ross to go ahead.

Give a man a li’l sex and he gets territorial
. Smiling at Cherise, she removed his hand.

“We’re here, Veronique.” Ross placed the phone on the table and sat next to Cherise.

“Good.” Veronique’s voice filled the room, sharp and succinct. “First off, you need to know I’ve already contacted someone at the Attorney General’s office. We were in law school together and I can count on her to be up front and not bury this information.”

“Bury?” Cherise asked, a frown marring her brow.

“A District Judge left the scene of a crime. He was intimately involved with one of the deceased and has information regarding the matter. That’s serious, especially since he’s married to a wealthy socialite. They’ll do everything in their power to minimize the damages.”

Vianca didn’t realize how tightly she held her hands on her thigh until Smoke covered them with his hand. Their eyes met, she accepted the comfort he offered.

“They’ll be talking to the Judge sometime today. That said, let’s deal with the seven men. Two of the men are serious repeat offenders with long records. They’ll cap your ass in a heartbeat.” Cherise placed her hand in Ross’s and glanced at Vianca. They hadn’t spoken since the he’s-just-a-fuck conversation. Her face heated in remembrance. She tried to move her hand from beneath Smoke’s. He tightened his grip. A part of her wondered if that was symbolic and thrust the notion aside. Neither of them was interested in more than the moment. Watching Ross soothe Cherise, a flicker of interest blossomed in her chest. She'd never had a tender liaison. Never had anyone looking out for her in an intimate relationship. Smoke squeezed her hand, interrupting her thoughts. He received a glare for his trouble.

“From what I understand,” Veronique continued. “He crossed state lines and the FBI may get involved. I’ve sent the information to a few trusted sources, including the police on your behalf. Eventually, you’ll have to answer questions, and give depositions; I’ll be there by then. No talking without me. Understand” she waited a beat. “That was a question.”

“Yes,” Smoke and Vianca said at the same time.

“Good. I’m going to insist they do them all at the same time, due to the stress of your kidnapping, Smoke and the privileged information clause of your profession Vianca.” She paused. “Is that all right with you?”

“Yes, that’s good.” Now that they knew she expected an answer, they were quick and on point. Smoke squeezed her hand before releasing it.

“Thank you,” Vianca said, feeling better about the situation. Her thoughts turned to Fernando and the need to update him. Hope rose in her chest that this would all be over soon.
