He spilled his seed inside her as they reached climax at the same time. He fell on top of her, still deep inside.

They lay there for several minutes, panting, before Nuke released his grip on the belt around her neck. He looked at the imprint and smiled. “I marked my territory!” he said as he kissed the area.

“Please stay inside of me a little longer,” Jasmine said softly.

Nuke leaned forward and kissed the side of her face, then down her neck to her shoulder.
“We’re good, Jasmine.”

Chapter Seven

Cindy and Jasmine

When Cindy parked her car at the Taco Bell, she could see that Jasmine was already inside, sitting at a table and eating. Cindy waved at her as she got in line. Once she had her order, she sat down across from Jasmine.

Jasmine was absolutely glowing with happiness. This was going to be harder than she thought. Jasmine had her phone out, reading a text. “Let me guess: Nuke?”

“Yes¸” Jasmine said, as a huge smile lit up her face and she beamed with delight. She was wearing a long, flowing, black and grey summer dress with a curved
neck line. She looked radiant. “We text all day long,” she said as she took her eyes away from her phone to look at Cindy.

“That’s very romantic!” Cindy giggled.

“I know it sounds silly, but we just find random things to talk about all day long,” Jasmine shrugged.

Cindy nodded. “So, it’s going okay then?” Cindy bit into a potato griller.

“So far, things are great. I mean, I know we’re still in the honeymoon period.”

“What about Brian? I know you called off the engagement, but I thought you two were still talking.”

“He calls every now and then, but we’re done. He hints that he’d like to get back together, but that’s not going to happen. Even before I met Nuke, I didn’t want to get back with Brian.”

“Did Brian ask for the ring back?”

Jasmine shook her head. “So when do you get down to business and tell me all of the reasons why I shouldn’t be with Nuke? That’s why we’re here, right? I know how you feel about the men in the club.”

Cindy hesitated as she took another bite. She washed down her food with a swallow of Pepsi, giving her time to rethink her words before she spoke. “Other than what I’ve told you, what do you know about the Hells Vipers?”

“Nuke talks about the club but he doesn’t talk, talk about the club. Know what I mean? He doesn’t give detailed information. My info has come from you and the Internet. I’ve watched a lot of one-sided documentaries on YouTube.”

“One-sided?” Cindy cocked an eyebrow.

“The opinion of shows like ‘Gangland’ aren’t always accurate. There’s two sides to every story.”

“You don’t believe that Nuke has never done anything illegal?”

“I’m sure he has. I’m not in denial, but I don’t think he’s anywhere as bad you think he is.”

Cindy didn’t know what to say. She couldn’t believe that Jasmine was so blind to the truth. “He must have some good dick!” she nervously laughed.

Jasmine smiled and nodded. “Yep, I’m happily dick-whipped. I’ve never had sex this good.”

“Have you been to the clubhouse yet?”

Jasmine shook her head. “Why?”

“Don’t you think it’s odd that he hasn’t brought you there?” Cindy felt a knot forming in the pit of her stomach. The conversation was about to get ugly. “You seem to be getting along so well. The club is his life, so why not let everyone know you’re together?”

Jasmine ran her fingers through her long dark hair and then began twirling the ends of a strand. “Is he still married or something? Is that what you’re trying to tell me?”

Cindy could see the fear enter Jasmine’s eyes. “No, he’s not married.”

“Girlfriend, girlfriends, is that it? Just tell me what you wanted to say. You said they’re always on the lookout for pussy.”

“I just think no one really knows about you except Kevin. There’s a reason for that.”

Jasmine let out a sound that was somewhere between a sigh of relief and a snort as she rolled her eyes. “Oh, you think it’s because I’m black? You think I haven’t thought about that?”

“Jasmine…”

“I’m not stupid, Cindy. I wonder every day why a guy who’s a member of a one percent motorcycle club that doesn’t allow black members is spending time with me. I think about it, and I push that shit to the back of my mind because I choose to for the time being.”

“I don’t think he’s supposed to be with you,” Cindy whispered.

“Maybe not, I don’t know. He doesn’t seem too worried about what they think. I go to his house; he rides me around on his bike. We’re not hiding. He doesn’t have any white power tattoos, that I’m sure of. I know every inch of his body,” she said with half a smile.

“How do you see yourself in his life?”

“I know everything is happening fast, but that’s between him and me.” She paused before adding, “He’s not Kevin.”

“Don’t fall for a man that will use you, then move onto someone else without a second thought about how you feel.”

Jasmine took a sip of her drink. She really needed something stronger. “That could happen with anyone I’d date. If you’ve seen him with someone, just tell me.”

“No, I haven’t seen him with anyone. I just know how these guys are.”

“Just because Kevin screwed anything with a pulse doesn’t mean that Nuke will!” Jasmine felt defensive. “I’m not going to stop seeing because of what he might do in the future. That’s stupid. We don’t know what’s going to happen. I’m not psychic and neither are you!”

It was Cindy’s turn to let out a frustrated sigh. “Jasmine, how can you believe that he is sincere with his feeling toward you? I don’t want to sound like a bitch, but…”

“Too late, you already do!” Jasmine interrupted her. “Stop blaming all men because every man you’ve had cheated on you. You keep choosing these men that are cheaters.”

“I know how Hells Vipers think, Jasmine. They use people, even the women they claim to care about. They keep people around that can benefit them in some way.”

“Cindy, I love spending time with Nuke. He’s fun to be with, and we have a lot in common. I feel good when I’m with him. I don’t want to think about not being with him. I don’t know where our relationship is going, but I want to try and make it work if I can.”

“Jasmine, listen to me, please. You’re seeing what he’s letting you see. You don’t know him at all. He’s violent, Jasmine; I’ve seen it with my own eyes. All of them are dangerous men.”

“Why don’t you want me to be happy? Is it because I have what you don’t? If Kevin wanted you, you’d be with him right now. You don’t care if he’s dangerous or not. A true friend would want me to be happy.”

“It’s too late for Kevin and me. I would be overjoyed if I thought your relationship was real. You’re falling in love, and Nuke is just killing time ‘til something better comes along.”

“He cares about me!” Jasmine was getting angry now, but the last thing she wanted to do was cry or lash out.

Cindy paused. She truly didn’t want to hurt her friend, but Jasmine needed to know the truth. She reached over and touched Jasmine’s hand. “They won’t allow it, Jasmine, and he’s not going to lose his patch over you. He may like you and even care about you on some level. I don’t know what he’s up to, but he’s not being honest with you.”

Jasmine just stared at her. In the mix of emotions she was feeling, anger dominated. “I need to leave. I’m a grown woman, and what I do with my pussy and heart isn’t any of your fucking business.” Jasmine stood up and rushed outside.

Cindy followed, catching up to her at her car. “Fine, don’t listen to someone who knows more about their club than you do. Whether you want to admit it or not, he’s using you for his own selfish needs. That’s what they do, they use people, and when he’s done with you, he’ll leave you broken.”

The thought of slapping the crap out of Cindy’s head popped into Jasmine mind. She decided against it. Going to jail was not on her agenda today. “Why are you so sure about Nuke? Do you want him, is that it? You can’t have Kevin so you set your sights on another member of the club?”

“Because I know them. Jasmine, how can you go from a man that has a good job, never been in trouble a day in his life, to a thug?”

“Before Nuke, life was suffocating me. Brian bored the hell out of me. Sex bored the hell out of me. Talking to him was boring. Having dinner with his family and friends was boring. My miserable life was eating away at every part of me. I wanted more. I deserve more! I was slowly dying when I was with Brian. He didn’t help my life; he hindered it. Between him and work, I felt like I was going to lose my mind. Day in and day out of nothingness. I wasn’t happy, don’t you understand that? I WASN’T HAPPY!”

“Nuke is not the answer, Jasmine!”

“I let go of Brian because I wanted more out of life. I couldn’t see myself spending the next twenty or thirty years with him. I’m HAPPY with Nuke. Why can’t you just mind your own business and let me be happy?”

“How is Nuke more? Men like him end up dead or in prison. If he is sincere, which I truly doubt, you deserve better. Don’t be like me, Jasmine. I’ve never had a good man in my entire life. Kevin is the only one I loved, but he’s not a good man to be in love with. If I
was you, I’d learn to love boring. Boring is safe; boring means he’s coming home after work. Boring means he’s not screwing other women in the same bed he screwed you in. Run as fast as you can back to Brian, and thank your lucky stars that you have a good man, an honest man. Nuke is going to use every part of you, then toss you away. Leave, before he chews you up and spits you out.”

“Nuke cares about me!” Jasmine screamed as she opened up the door to her grey Nissan Versa.

“I don’t want to fight with you, Jasmine. I wanted to try and talk some sense into you. Because you’re my friend and I really do care about you. I understand the biker fetish, and that’s fine. All women love a bad boy. Fuck him, but don’t let him into your heart.”

“Too late!”

“Jasmine, please!”

“Please what? Stop doing what I want for a change and be miserable with you? You probably just want Nuke for yourself.”

“No, the only other Hells Viper I’ve been with was Vince, and that was a three-way with Kevin.”

“Nuke wouldn’t want me to have sex with another man.”

“You’re so naive about who they are.” Cindy shook her red locks. “I hope it works out for you, Jasmine. I really do. These guys have a way of turning you into someone you won’t recognize when you look into the mirror.”

“I’m not nearly as weak as everyone thinks I am. I’m not stupid either.”

“I never said you were weak or stupid, Jasmine. I just want you to be realistic. Nuke is going to hurt you. He earned that cut. They didn’t fucking give it to him because he showed up and asked for it; he earned it the hard way!” Cindy turned and walked away.

Chapter Eight

Jasmine

Are you busy?
Jasmine texted to Nuke

Fifteen minutes later, he responded:
fixing my deck

Can I come by?

Jasmine, U dnt hve to ask

B
thr in a few

Thirty minutes later, Jasmine pulled into the Hayward Trailer Park and headed toward the back corner lot where Nuke lived. She parked her vehicle in front of his white and black double-wide. Nuke was outside, shirtless, and cutting two-by-fours along with another man Jasmine recognized as one of his neighbors. She’d stopped and got him food on the way. She climbed out of the vehicle, grabbing the bag of take-out from the passenger seat.

“Hey!” she said as she walked toward him. She felt anxious and tense. He stopped and gave her a quick kiss, then went back to work. Her argument with Cindy was replaying over and over again in her mind as she walked up onto the deck. She set the food down on the table at the opposite end from where he was working. A third of the deck was missing, and Nuke was replacing the boards.

Jasmine sat there for a few minutes, taking a sip of the drink she’d brought him and checking her phone. He finally walked up onto the deck. “How did you know I was hungry?” He grinned at her as he took a handful of fries out of the bag.

“Because you’re always hungry,” she said, hating the fact that her voice sounded wooden and distant.

“True. I got this girl, she’s a freak in the bed, wants sex all of the time. It’s making me weak,” he joked.

“You poor thing! I guess you should find another girl,” she tried to joke, but her voice betrayed her true frustration.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked, cupping her chin and forcing her to look up at him.

“I’m just having a bad day. What was wrong with the deck?”

“Dry rot. You sure you’re okay? You want to talk about it?”

“No,” she snapped and threw her phone back into her purse but not before ignoring a call from Brian.

“I like the dress. Are you going out somewhere?” Nuke was trying hard not to over-think things. Everything was going good with Jasmine, but he could tell that something was troubling her deeper than ‘just having a bad day.’

“Thanks, it’s just a dress. I have girly moments,” she said. Everything Cindy had told her had formed a knot in her stomach.

“Alright, I’m going to cut the rest of the wood.” He took one of the burgers out of the bag and walked off of the deck. “I’ll be back in a few if you want to talk.”

Every time she looked at him or thought about him, she felt warm all over. Maybe it felt too good, being with Nuke. Cindy was right when she said that she knew more about the biker lifestyle and men like Nuke than Jasmine did. This was all new territory for Jasmine, and Nuke seemed too good to be true.

She’d been there less than half an hour when a petite blonde with red streaks in her hair walked toward the trailer carrying a plate. She was wearing cut-off shorts and a pink tank top with no bra. Her perky tits were making an obvious statement.

“I brought you brownies!” she said in a loud voice to Nuke as she walked over to him. “I know how much you liked them before.”

Jasmine couldn’t hear what Nuke said, but the girl nodded and walked up onto the deck.

“Hey, I’m Zoe,” she said, smiling at Jasmine. The woman looked a lot older up close than Jasmine had first thought she was, or maybe she just had on too much makeup.

“Jasmine. Nice to meet you,” Jasmine said, smiling even as the nauseated feeling of anger and distrust moved from her stomach to form a lump in her throat.

“Nuke’s a great guy, huh?” Zoe said as she sat down in one of the chairs. She stretched her tan legs, placing her feet on another chair and making herself at home.

“That’s an understatement,” Jasmine replied coldly, as the need to become violent with someone crossed her mind again for the second time today.

“I just love the Jekyll and Hyde tattoo on his upper left thigh, don’t you?” Zoe said, giving her a wicked grin.

Jasmine knew that was her way of saying that she’d seen him naked. She was not in the mood to play this game. “I get it, you fucked him. So have I, and I’m pretty sure so have a lot of other women.” Jasmine stood up and walked off the deck, heading to her car. She wanted to hit someone. She wanted to cry, but most of all, she just wanted to get the hell out of there. Too much had gone down today, and she needed to get away from everyone.

“Where you going?” the unmistakable voice of Nuke called out to her.

She didn’t even respond as she opened the driver-side door.

“Hey! Where the fuck you going?” Nuke caught her by the upper arm and spun her around. He yelled at her so loud that several people who were outside looked their way.

“Let go of me!” she shouted and snatched her arm away from him. “I just need to go home!”

He grabbed her again and held her against the open car door. “What the fuck is your problem?” The word came out in a low growl.

Jasmine’s eyes shot over to the deck, then back to Nuke. “How many women are you screwing? Because obviously it’s not my turn, so I need to take a number and get in line. I got this straight, right -- we’re just fuck buddies?” The tears welled in her eyes, but she’d be damned if that bitch or Nuke would see her cry.

“I fucked Zoe, past tense, but so did at least twelve other Hells Vipers. We pulled a train on her more than once. That was long before I met you!”

“I’m the wrong woman for you. I know I like some kinky shit, but I’m not doing that!”

“I would never share you!”

“Is this a relationship at all? Because I thought I knew what we were doing, but now I’m not so sure what the hell this even is.”

“We’re in a relationship,” he said, furrowing his brow. “I’m not fucking anyone else, and you’re not seeing other men, right?”

The look that crossed his face shot a jolt of fear through her body. “No, no I’m not. If you’re just with me, then why not talk on the phone around me? Cindy said it’s always another woman when you guys leave the room to answer calls. Am I really the only one you’re sleeping with?”

“Jasmine, you’re the only one.”

She stared at him, not sure whether she should believe anything he was saying.

“Are we having this conversation all because of Cindy?” Nuke asked, narrowing his eyes.

“She said they’d take your patch. Are we fucking, just fucking, because you want to know what it’s like to be with a black woman?”

“My dick believes in equal-opportunity fucking. I hate to break it to
you, sweetheart, but you’re not my first. No matter what shit Cindy is filling your head with.”

“Why didn’t you tell Zoe to leave? Why didn’t you say, ‘
My girlfriend is here. You need to leave’?”

“Because she’s nothing.”

“You had sex with her. How is she nothing?”

“I wrapped my dick up and took my turn. It wasn’t intimate. I care about you. We don’t just fuck, Jasmine. There’s more to us than that. Stop letting that bitch you call a friend fuck with your head.”

“If you were at my house and my ex showed up, how would you feel?”

“That’s different!”

“No, Nuke, it isn’t.”

“Yes, it is. You were going to marry him. I fucked her twice six months ago. Each time, it was a group of us taking turns. She just wants a Hells Viper, and she doesn’t care which one. I’m not buying what she’s selling, but I’ll take the fucking brownies,” he halfway laughed.

“Fine, Nuke, whatever.” Jasmine needed to get away before she started to cry.

“That’s it?”

“Yeah, I need to go now.” Jasmine wanted nothing more than to get the hell out of there.

Nuke gently touched her face with both of his hands. “Don’t cry.”

“I really need to go, Nuke!”

Her tears began, and he quickly brushed them away. “You know damn well I’m not letting you leave.” He kissed her.

“Nuke, please, I need to go home. I don’t want to deal with this right now.”

He hesitated but finally let her go. “I’ll finish the deck, then I’ll be over later on, alright?”

She sat down in the driver’s seat, but Nuke was holding the door open.

“Jasmine, we good?”

“Nuke, let’s just talk in a few days. I need to think things through. Don’t come over tonight.”

“We’re not doing that ‘let’s talk in a few days’ shit!” He snatched her out of the car and pulled her toward the trailer. He stomped up onto the deck as he gripped her wrist tight. “Get the fuck out of here!” he yelled to Zoe. She jumped up from the chair and raced down the stairs. He pulled Jasmine inside and slammed the door shut behind them.

“You need to stop talking with Cindy. Vindictive women tend to bend the truth in their favor!” Nuke screamed at her and he let go of her wrist.

She rubbed her wrist as he backed her into a wall. “I want to go home!” she yelled at him.

“No, you don’t. You want to redo today so that it doesn’t suck for you.” He took a handful of her hair, turned her around and yanked her back to him, forcing her head into an awkward position to look at him. With his other hand, he slid it up her dress and between her legs. “We’re a couple; this belongs to me. You spread your legs for anyone other than me, I’ll make your life a living hell!” He stared down at her with his dark gaze. “Do you fucking understand me?”

She watched his lips move, mesmerized by what a sensual mouth he had and the harsh words coming out of them. Common sense was pushed to the back as she let her emotions take over. She loved that he was claiming her. She wanted to be his woman so bad that it physically hurt.

“God woman! You’re making me crazy!” He didn’t usually let women get to him, but Jasmine was different. She consumed his every thought; hell, he dreamed about her. She was everything he desired. They could sit and talk for hours or sit and say nothing at all. When he looked into her smoky brown eyes, he felt the weight of the world dissolve from his shoulders. Come hell or high water, they were going to make this work.

“Let me go!” she yelled at him as she clawed at his grip on her hair.

“I love the way you smell,” he whispered into her ear. His breathing sped up as he wrapped his arm around her waist, holding her up against him. “There is no one but you.” He lowered his hands from her hair to her face, where he ran his thumb across her lips.

“Do you really want me to let you go home?” he asked as he licked the side of her neck.

She turned her head toward him and obediently opened her mouth. His mouth overtook hers, taking control of her. What she wanted was for him to own her, make her feel secure. She wanted him to prove to Cindy that she was wrong.

“Baby, if you trust me enough to tie you up and do whatever the hell pops into my mind, why don’t you trust me that I’m not using you?”

He loosened his grip slightly, and she broke away from him again. “Because people use each other all of the time,” she said.

“Jasmine, I don’t have doubts. I know what I want, and I want you. If you need for me to go slower, then I will. Life is too fucking short to be afraid all of the time. You need to stop thinking that I’m going hurt you just because Cindy and Kevin didn’t work out.”

“Nuke, I don’t know how to undo my insecurities.”

“Then no matter how much I want this to work out, it’s going to be you that fucks it up.”

They stared at each other for what felt like forever. Then he started walking toward the front door. “I’m going to finish my deck. You want to go home, go. If you want to be an adult, then stay. I haven’t done anything to make you think that I’m not serious. All the negative shit you’re feeling is coming from you and Cindy, not me.”

He walked out the door, and she caught up to him before he stepped down onto the steps. He was right. She needed to stop listening to her own self-doubt and Cindy. She could see Zoe looking at them from her adjacent trailer.

Jasmine positioned herself in front of him, wrapping her arms around his neck. He pulled her close.

“I’m sorry!” She took his hand and pressed it between her legs, pushing up the front of her dress. He started using his fingers, stroking, teasing and pulling at her sensitive clit. She moaned as she molded her body to his. Her hips moved in rhythm with his hand. She began to scoot him back, using her body as she undid his belt. He bumped into one of the deck chairs, and she gently pushed him down. “That bitch and everyone is going to know you’re mine!”

She knelt down and unzipped his pants. She didn’t waste any time taking out his cock.

“Fuck, I’m definitely going to get evicted for this!” He smirked as she took his cock into her mouth. She licked and sucked up and down his glistening white shaft. He pushed down on the back of her head, moving her even farther down on his cock. He let out a loud groan as she looked up at him with her big brown eyes. She sucked on the head. He was sweaty and salty, and she couldn’t get enough.

She reached between her legs and began rubbing her clit. Reluctantly, he pulled her away from his cock. “We need to go inside.”

“Now who’s scared?” she laughed as she stood up.
