About the Author

NANCY MILFORD’S
Zelda
was not only her doctoral dissertation at Columbia University but also a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. It has been translated into twelve languages. Milford is a founder of the Writers Room, and has held a Guggenheim Fellowship as well as a Writing Fellowship from the Lila Wallace-Reader’s Digest Foundation. She was a Fulbright Senior Scholar at the University of the Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey, and has taught at the University of Michigan, Vassar College, New York University, Brown University, where she was an Annenberg Fellow, and Princeton University. Her most recent book,
Oh, Savage Beauty
, is a biography of Edna St. Vincent Millay.
