Vomit! Vomit!
I slap his hands away and pull my lips free.
“No fun,” he murmurs with an endearing smile. Which is also a wonky drunk smile and terribly cute. “Kiss me baby.”
“No.” Squealing, I fall onto his chest when he grabs me around the waist and pulls me onto him. “Jacob.”
“Sexy bitch,” he grins and nips at my neck. “You know something?”
“What?” I laugh and hold myself up with my hands on his chest.
“Yeah Jacob,” Maya chirps in. “What?”
Jacob rolls me over onto my back and very, very slowly climbs to his feet. Once on his feet he staggers into the wall.
Rolling my eyes I wrap his arm around my shoulders and guide him to the couch. He doesn’t sit though. He tries to kiss me instead. I give him my cheek, memories of the last drunk person who kissed me swimming through my mind like
a bad omen.
Yuck.
“Love you,” he whispers against my ear, giving me more of his weight than should be possible for me to hold. “I decided…”
“Oh dear,” Lucas laughs and pulls Loryn against him. I smile when he presses his lips to her forehead.
“What have you decided?” I look at my man with a suspicious gaze.
James clears his throat and looks everywhere else.
“I want to marry you.” Come again? “Me in a suit, you in a dress. Then you’ll be my permanent bitch. What you think?”
Okay, through his slurring I think I got all that. “I think you should sleep for a while.”
He frowns, “Don’t patronize me. I’m serious. We should get married.”
“If you’re serious we can talk about this when you sober up.” I snap a little harsher than I was supposed to. “Okay?”
He shakes his head and looks at his friends, “She doesn’t wanna marry me.”
I only blink in response.
“That sucks,” he grumbles and staggers away from me. “You suck.”
“What did I do?” I saunter toward him and help him get the bedroom door open.
“Nothing,” he’s being grumpy. Brilliant.
“Jacob,” I warn, not liking his sudden mood change.
His eyes barely focus on my face, “Is it because I’m always got people following me?”
“No it’s not because
you’ve
always got people following you. You know I don’t care about that,” I try to give him a reassuring smile, it’s lost on him. “I love you. Let’s just take things one step at a time.”
“Kay,” he mumbles, stomp staggers into our room and slams the door in my face.
I wince when I hear him crash into something.
“I’m okay,” he calls and continues on his way, crashing into something else as he goes.
I don’t leave the door until I hear the telltale signs of him climbing into bed. I don’t follow him in because trying to get through to a determined drunk person is like taking an ice cream cone to a wall of platinum. It’ll never break through.
“You okay?” Maya asks quietly as I step into the room.
“Yeah, he’ll be okay when he’s slept it off.” I yawn and stretch and pat her on the ass. “Thanks though.”
She smiles wickedly, “It’s awesome isn’t it?”
“Your ass?”
“No, idiot, being in a relationship. Being in love.”
I glance back in the direction of my bedroom, “It has its disadvantages.”
She cackles at that and pats me back on the ass, “Yeah. It’s when the disadvantages outweigh the advantages that you should be worried. So don’t worry. Not yet.”
“In that case I’m happy, the advantages are constant,” I admit with a cackle of my own. “I can handle drunk and broody Jacob, don’t worry.”
She stills as we watch James doze off on the couch with Summer leaning against his side and Loryn and Lucas making out in the corner. Then she asks me something I wish I had the answer to but I don’t, “What are you going to do if he’s serious?”
“Let’s hope he’s not.”
I’m all for being in love right now which is a completely one eighty from how I felt a couple of months ago. Tying myself down to the same man for the rest of my life isn’t something I have on the agenda.
Will he understand though? Sure
, right now, at this point in time, I can’t see myself with anybody but him. Let’s be realistic, that’ll probably change in a few months.
As Jacob says, he’s tasted many flavors.
He’s right, there are many flavors out there. Too many.
Will I get tired of his and want to move on?
I really hope not.
“You look lost in thought,” my closes friend strokes my arm affectionately. “Everything good?”
My smile is fake, she sees right through it. “Yeah.”
“You can talk to me you know?”
“Yeah,” this time my smile is genuine. “I’ll sort it out. Don’t worry your
pretty little head over it.”
Then she changes the subject to something I really wish she hadn’t, “You told him about your dad yet?”
My body tenses, my back straightens, “I don’t see why he needs to know that yet.”
She only shrugs, oblivious to my icy tone, “If you want him to love all of you, you need to give him all of you.”
Eye roll, “Maya none of what happened has anything to do with the now. I’ll tell him when I’m ready.”
“Kay,” she grins and squeezes my ass. “I’m starting to enjoy this lesbi
an thing we have going on. Foursome?”
“Not a fucking chance!” James snaps. I thought he was sleeping, apparentl
y not. “Unless it’s just you me and Marie…”
I quirk a brow, “Want to repeat that?”
“No,” he cowers back playfully. “I’m good.”
Maya only laughs and darts to her fiancée. After giving
Summer a quick shove out of the way, she straddles his lap and kisses his face all over. “Foursome?”
“Ask me again and I won’t marry you.”
Why she finds this funny I have no idea. Especially when he’s clearly being serious. Oh wait… his lips just twitched. He’s joking… I think.
When I finally get to bed after everybody leaves, Jacob immediately curls into me. The whiskey on his breath soothes me a little, reminding me that people say shit they don’t mean all the time when they’re drunk and he was most definitely drunk.
Still deciding if I like drunk Jacob.
Can’t remember a time I’ve seen him drunk. Not properly.
Also, he curled into me which means whatever he was mad at before he probably isn’t mad at now.
I think.
I hope.
We’ll see.
“Detox shake,” I moan and roll onto my stomach. “Please.” This word is dragged out and extremely loud.
“It’s six in the morning, what the hell is wrong with you?” Marie snaps while tucking the blanket between her thighs and burying her head under it.
“Detox shake.”
“Leave me alone.”
“Ugh. Useless female.” So I stagger out of bed, my stomach lurching. I don’t make it two steps before I’m dashing for the toilet and emptying the contents of my stomach. Which is nothing but liquid and after that’s gone all I can do is heave.
“This is priceless,” Marie laughs and wipes my mouth with a cold flannel. “Gross.” She disappears as I start heaving again only to return minutes later with my shake.
“Thanks.” Gulp, gulp, gulp. Contented sigh. “You’re awesome.”
“Have a shower, I’ll make you some breakfast.” She kisses my hair and vanishes again.
The shower looms over me like a menacing metal beast threatening to spray my poor body with a freezing blast of water. Shudder. I don’t want a shower.
“I don’t hear water!” Marie calls from wherever the fuck she is.
“I’m doing it!” Christ, woman.
Sitting on the tiled ground I quickly switch on the taps and yelp when the lukewarm spray attacks my clammy skin.
It feels good, yet not good all at the same time.
“Pruned yet?” Marie stands in the doorway to our walk in shower. Completely fucking naked.
Hangover cured.
I snag her by the back of her neck and slam her body into mine. In seconds her legs are around my waist and I’m sliding into her depths.
“So, we’re okay now?” she pants against my neck as I piston my hips backwards and forwards. My eyes watching her tits bounce with each thrust. “After last night I mean.”
“What happened?” We argued? I don’t really remember.
“You told me you wanted to marry me and because I didn’t give you an answer immediately and said we’d talk in the morning you staggered to bed in a huff,” she grins wickedly, letting her eyes wander down my torso before resting on my glistening shaft that keeps vanishing inside of her, then reappearing a second later. “That’s so hot.”
Wait… I asked her to marry me? “Oops.”
“You don’t even remember do you?” She feigns offence with a slap to my arm. I bury myself in her to the hilt and groan at the feeling.
“No but I can’t say I’m totally opposed to the idea,” I admit and pull out to the tip. Shudder.
She stiffens, her eyes snapping back to mine, wide and wary. “Jacob.”
“I don’t mean right this instant. Just something I wouldn’t mind thinking about in the future.” Slam. We both moan and hold tighter to each other.
“How far in the future?”
“I don’t know,” slide out.
“Like in five years? Six?”
“Years?” She’s joking right? “I was thinking months, weeks. Somewhere. (Slam) Along. (Pull). Those. (Slam) Lines. (Groan).”
“As long as by months you mean at least sixty of them then fine, we’ll address this situation the…. Ah… Jake!”
“Give it to me, give it all to me.” She clings to me like I’m her anchor to Earth as her orgasm takes her away. She moans loud, incoherent curses and ramblings. I follow, doing the same. My body spasms, my head explodes and my mouth releases a cry so loud I’m surprised the glass shower door hasn’t shattered.
Fuck yeah. When we finally come down I continue, “We’ll talk about it after Maya’s wedding.”
“No rush?” Marie seems nervous, that’s to be expected. I wouldn’t have her any other way.
I drop her on the tiled ground and cup her ass with my hands, “No rush.” Peck. “I promise.” Peck. Then I slide to my knees in front of her, kissing her wet body as I go. “Cleaning time.”
“Fuck yeah.” She groans as my tongue finds her clit and my fingers sink into her still pulsing depths.
My thoughts exactly baby.
Island of Wonder
The past week and a half has been… interesting. Marie has been super busy unfortunately.
Fortunately I’ve had Landen to keep me company, and James and Lucas. Lucas, Landon and I have been planning the bachelor party. We’re competing with the girls. The island has two halves for this reason, half for the men and half for the women.
It’s safe to say our party is going to kick the asses of theirs and everyone knows it. We’ve done what Marie has done and kept it secret from Maya and James. Their last night of freedom is going to rock.
Even Chris helped us out with a few things. The technical side of things and even a bit of décor.
The bachelor and bachelorette parties aren’t going to be the typical night time drinking session. No way in hell. These events last all day starting before breakfast. Whichever group has the most fun wins as judged by the hotel.
We’re going to kick those bitches asses back to the Stone Age.
So even though Marie has been busy and I’ve missed her like crazy, which has been reciprocated, I’ve been busy too. It’s gone fast, too fast.
We’re now stood with an extremely large group of people who are going to the island, trying to board a plane which Maya has hired to take us all to our destination.
At present I’m helping Marie and Lucas guide everyone to their seats with the team of air stewardess’. Sure there are plenty of them to do their jobs but the group is large and kind of rowdy and of course, excited so we’re helping out so we can get in the air on time and land on time.
I wink at Marie from across the way as she sits by Maya and Summer cackling like a hyena. Summer starts telling a story, you don’t need to hear her to know she’s telling a story. Her flailing arms give it away. She practically signs every word she says with her limbs.
“And then I dove into the water and started driving a car. This huge tree came into view which was weird so I dove into the water and decided to wipe my eyes before flying up to a cloud, typing on my laptop and praying to Jesus as you and you danced with a waving crazy person, who then came to me and showed me how to fly a plane.”
“What the fuck are you talking about?” Lucas asks quietly. I point at Summer. We watch. She flails. He stifles his laughter in his fist.
