“Oh my God!” Belia breathed heavily, her eyes wide as she stared at Layla.

Shade appeared behind Layla and grabbed her. He spun her around and claimed her lips. Layla grabbed him tight, pulling him further into her.

Belia made a small noise. She stared, wide-eyed in their direction. “Okay…apparently I don’t know everything yet. Who is that?”

Nikalye could scent the arousal swirling through her and grinned. “Shade, Layla’s bonded mate.”

“They are bonded? Like us?”

“For over twelve years now. And they have a daughter,” Nikalye added with humour. “Shayla is their daughter, in fact.”

“What! Wait, hold on…but…that means…you and her—”

“She is part Demon of Lust. Anyone not bonded loves her whether she has the bond or not, trust me.” Shade’s eyes were hard as he stared at Nikalye.

Nikalye bowed his head. “Shade, I am truly sorry for what happened.”

“As long as you don’t try anything, I won’t need to hit you.”

“Shade, Nikalye is bonded to the human nearly ripping his arm off. It seems bonded or not, you still have the same affect on women as you always have done.” Layla kissed him.

“You are the only one I look at. You know that.” Shade pulled Layla close.
I am hungry, for both your blood and body and if we do not get inside, I will take you where we stand.

Nikalye chuckled as Shade purposely pushed his thoughts into his mind. Their bond had strengthened considerably if Layla could now read Shade’s thoughts as he could.

He didn’t blame Shade for purposely letting him hear his words, not after what happened. “I will leave you two alone.”

Shade’s eyes gleamed.

“Your room is where it always has been,” Layla told him without turning his way.

Nikalye bowed again and swept Belia into his arms. He moved fast, moving into the house and getting into his room before Belia could even gasp. When he put her on her feet, he pulled her close and kissed her hard.

She moaned into his mouth, grasping his arms tight. “Nikalye, oh God I need you.” Belia kissed him harder and moaned when Nikalye picked her up and put her down on the bed.

“That, my sweet, will be the battle lust you are feeling from me.”

Belia frowned. “Battle lust?”

“Something I am now feeling after battle since meeting you.”

“Really? What does it mean?”

Nikalye smiled widely. “Let me show you.”

About the Author

I’m a talkative, hyperactive writer of Erotic Vampire Para
normal Romance books. I love both reading and writing, and I love listening to loud rock/hardcore music. I was born in Devon, Plymouth in 1991. I didn’t stay there for long and moved to Lincoln. I wasn’t always a lover of books, I was more an animal person then. I went to University of Lincoln, Riseholme College, where I studied an animal course for two years. It was only when I saw J.K Rowling’s, Harry Potter books that I start reading. Over the years, I read more books, including Twilight and House of Night and soon I became a huge lover of books. I love reading so much, and all the books that I’ve read have inspired to start writing my own, though reading vampire books did not inspire me to write vampire books myself, my dreams did that for me. I own more than a hundred books, mainly vampires, and read over double. I plan to have my very own library of books that I love and will continue to read repeatedly, without getting bored. I’m a true believer of all things supernatural, and hope that one day, I’ll have the pleasure of meeting one. I live in the middle of nowhere with my partner, Reece and my little zoo which consists of hamsters called Crunch, Rue, and two baby hamsters, Shayle and Tallis, a hyperactive chinchilla called Hektor, and two guinea pigs, Smudge and Squig. We hope in the near future that we can get an army of guinea pigs, hamsters, and chinchillas. Along with a goat.
