Janette Wilson, the epitome of the working woman; the 21
st
century femme fatal: the bomb-shell body and knock out brains, is a defense attorney with a guilty client she is determined to protect, even if it means sleeping with the prosecutor just to throw off his concentration.

In a series of events that ultimately lands her in a bar with a strange, barely human man, Janette decides to throw all caution to the wind and go home with him. Little does she know that home is, quite literally, on an entirely different planet.

Chapter One

Janette sat at her table; the designated defendant space in the district court of New York City. She sucked in a subdued breath of the stuffy air, running a jittery hand through her long thick hair. It was a crucial hour, their last day on the case, and she had made it a point to dress her best to impress the judge, gain the trust of her witness…and distract the plaintiff. She straightened her fitted Calvin Klein suit jacket, flipping her head of thick, curly brunette hair over her right shoulder.

Her client, a short woman who looked more like a pixie than a murderer, leaned in to her, furrowing her black eyebrows. “I have to say, I’m really nervous.” She whispered.

Janette raised an eyebrow. “I’m gonna go ahead and take that as an insult.” She hissed back.

Just as her client was about to open her mouth to respond with a, no doubt, extremely stupid comment, the judge, a man by the name of Daniel Den who had presided over at least half of her cases before, all but whistled at her. “Wilson!” he barked. “Do you have any questions for the witness?” he asked.

Janette could almost feel the disappointment radiating from everyone inside of the courtroom. Sure, it was true that she was not listening to any of her opponent, Bob Benson’s, cross-examination. She smirked at him. “Yeah. I do. Actually.” As she said this, she could see Benson pursing his perfect, full lips out of the corner of her eye. He was a man that wielded power with every breath that he took in, not because it was given to him, because he demanded it. Everything from his head of slicked back black hair to his two-thousand-dollar fitted suit, to his flashing blue eyes exuded confidence. Janette had never absolutely despised… and desired someone more in her entire life.

She glanced at him, holding his agitated gaze as she took her time standing up, straightening out her own fitted jacket and rounding the front of the table. She kept her lips, coated in red lipstick, folded into her confident smirk and as she crossed the room. As Benson passed her, he made sure to shower her with that heart-stopping gaze of his. It nearly put Janette in a frenzy, the way that he seemed to undress her with his eyes. Although he had significantly frazzled her brain waves, she was sure to make sure to lay on her best, “I need to have sex with you right this moment,” gaze, before returning her attention back to what was really important: her client and this case.

So she pulled out her small notepad and the pen she had slipped into her front pocket and faced the witness, the old woman who claimed to have watched Pixie, “stab her boyfriend twelve times.”

“Mrs. Hillary Roddard, how old are you?” she asked, being sure to keep her eyes trained on the woman.

Mrs. Roddard adjusted herself in the chair, pursing her lips and casting her gaze down. Janette knew it was an awkward question, one that was sure to make her feel uncomfortable, but either way, she didn’t care. In fact, quite the contrary, she found it amusing that the woman squirmed so much in her seat.

When Roddard still had not answered her, Janette crossed the short distance between her and the stand, leaning on the table in front of her, “It’s okay. No one’s going to judge you. In fact, I promise you no one will even be surprised.”

It was only as those words slipped out of her mouth and the woman emitted a scandalized gasp that Janette even realized that she had been rude. “I’m 82 years old.”

Janette pasted a tight smile on her face, and then turned to face the jury. “Did everyone get that?” she asked, in her best I-am-trying-to-hide my smug grin voice. When she didn’t receive any kind of recognition from them, she then repeated what the woman said, “82 years. Now, I know Benson here so kindly pointed out the fact that she does indeed have a little eye-sight deficiency?”

At that moment, the Roddard woman raised her hand in protest, to which Janette quickly attended, raising her own hand to silence her. “Yes, yes I know. You said something about having glasses. I know we even had your eye doctor on the stand a couple of minutes ago that attested to his ability to diagnose you, and the fact that your prescription was suitable. Yes. Yes, we are all aware that you wear glasses-“

“Objection!” Benson shot out of his chair. “Is there a question in that?” he demanded.

Janette, knowing that it was precisely because he knew exactly where the question was and what it was going to be that motivated his little stalling attempt in the first place, turned, and, with a smirk, replied with, “The best things are worth waiting for.”

“Sustained.” The judge snapped without so much as looking at Janette.

She smirked. “Please excuse that interruption,” she replied, turning back to face her witness. “Anyways, I was about to ask you, because I was sitting in my chair this entire time just pondering… do you wear your glasses to bed?”

The woman’s face went blank, but Janette could tell through looking into her eyes that she was desperately looking for ways to answer that question without actually answering that question. Evidently, she failed to figure that one out. “No.”

Janette nodded, turning to throw her client a triumphant look. “Okay, great. Well, why don’t you humor me for a moment?” she continued. “Because I’m still a little confused. You’re wearing your glasses right now, because you can’t see without them. Am I to believe that you were able to see through two windows with nothing but moonlight to aide you? Am I to believe that you were able to not only witness an entire murder, but remember who it was that you saw and be able to pick her out in a courtroom?”

“I put them on.” The woman argued back, but Janette could just tell that she was lying; now all she had to do was point that out to everyone else in the courtroom.

She chuckled to herself. “But, the detective who interview you, said, just a few days ago that you were not wearing them when the police arrived. Why would you take them off?”

“I went back to sleep.” At this point, the woman’s voice audibly shook, making it increasingly obvious to the jury that she was bluffing.

Janette nodded. “Oh? That’s right. That reminds me. Aren’t you on Ambien?” she asked.

The woman nodded, this time, not even trusting her voice enough for an audible response.

“So, you mean to tell me, that under the influence of a sleeping aide, the sound of scream heard all the way across the street, from a different house was enough to awake you? And, furthermore, that you were so awake, you thought, ‘Oh let me search for my glasses in complete darkness, before I even look out of the window,’” she replied.

The woman nodded, somehow, becoming even more unsure of herself.

“Also, since you apparently went to sleep immediately after this whole altercation took place, how can you be sure that you remember the events, or even the time correctly?” Janette asked. It was obviously a rhetorical question for the masses, but since that poor old woman was the one on the stand, she was the one who was expected to answer it.

Her jaw swung open as she sat there, gaping and confused. “I… am?” she replied.

It took everything inside of Janette to stop herself from laughing at the woman. She shot the jury a meaningful look before turning to face the rest of the courtroom, as well as Benson, who sat there looking as if he was suffering from a terrible case of diarrhea. If Janette had any doubt that she had won the case, it was all shattered in that one, gloriously pained expression on Benson’s face. Somehow, she managed to find herself turned on by that as well. “No further questions.” She mumbled as she went to sit next to her client.

As soon as her bum hit the austere wooden chair, the judge raised her gavel, ramming it down three, loud times. “Recess. When we come back, I will hear the closing statements.” She ordered.

Janette sucked in a deep breath, keeping a good peripheral eye on Benson as she gathered her things.

Chapter Two

Janette stepped outside of the courtroom and into the crowded hallway. After taking a moment to straighten out her mini-skirt, she made her way down the marble-clad hallway, ignoring the nervous glances from everyone who had filled the courtroom. Just as she was about to turn her corner, she felt someone grab her wrist. She stopped, turning to find Pixie staring at her, “Thank you so much!” she cried in a trembling voice.

Janette’s lips lifted into a smile. Even though it was all about the game for her, she couldn’t deny how much it warmed her heart to see that she really had just changed someone’s life. Well, almost. She placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, leaning over so that she was level with her. “You’re welcome. But, let’s not speak too soon.” She replied.

Pixie nodded vigorously, “I’m gonna go get some lunch. Would you like me to get you anything?” she asked.

Janette smiled at this. Pixie was really working her way up her list of the top ten most gracious and fun potential murderers. “Sure. Why don’t you grab me a Greek yogurt.” She replied.

Pixie nodded and scurried off, disappearing into the crowd. Janette turned back around and continued her journey to a quiet room in which to practice her closing statement. She had so much as stepped foot into the deserted hallway before, she felt yet another hand on her arm. She was ready to firmly explain to Pixie that now was not the time for company, when her heart stopped. She found herself standing less than three inches away from Benson, his Calvin Klein engulfing her, as he seemed to undress her with his eyes. “Well, hello you.”

Janette ripped her arm out of his. “I’m sorry, but I’m a little busy trying to win this case if you don’t mind.” She replied, holding her ground in front of him.

Yet, as if he knew just how hard he made it for her to think clearly, he smirked, somehow managing to make his eyes even more smoldering than they were before. “Yes? Well I just had one quick question for you.” He murmured, making sure to keep his eyes directly on her lips.

Janette felt herself already leaning in to him. “What are you too much of a sore loser to back down gracefully?” she retorted.

At this, he grabbed her waist, driving her into his hip. She could feel his bugle growing harder in every passing moment. Whatever self-control she had left had all but evaporated in the hot July air. He grabbed her hand, which she had thrown in front of he to maintain her balance, and gently guided towards the bulge in between his legs.

She released a slow breath, immediately imagining wrapping her manicured hands around a perfect, pink, erect penis.

He leaned into her, not stopping until she could feel his lips against her ear and his warm breath brushing against her skin. “I’ll show you just how sore I am.” He replied.

Janette’s eyes went wide. So she hadn’t been just imagining his flirtatious glances all summer. She took her hand off of his crotched and stepped away from him, continuing down the hallway. “If you would like to discuss something with me, you should take it up with me in a private place. I don’t want anyone to see us and get any erroneous ideas.”

As soon as those words left her lips, he wrapped his hands around her arm pushed open the nearest door: a separation between the hallway and a silent deliberation room for the jurors, and pulled her in behind him, slamming the door. “Is sound proof private enough for you?” he demanded.

She shrugged, barely able to control the smirk that was begging to leave her lips. “Sure, what’s your grievance?”

He flinched, obviously having expected her to mount him as soon as he found her a quiet place to do so, but in seeing that they still had another hour of recess, the man just decided to go along with it. “I don’t take too kindly to you badgering my witnesses.”

Janette pursed her lips, pouting mockingly at him. “Oh. I’m, sorry, I didn’t realize you had tattooed your name into her thigh.”

He let out a low, seductive chuckle as he approached her. Janette couldn’t tell if it was the summer heat getting to her, her caffeine fix wearing off, or the fact that she had not had sex since this murder case had eaten up her social life, but she simply did not have the superego to run from the opportunity. Just as she was running over the lists of the costs and benefits of having sex with him right then and there and realizing that the benefits were greatly outweighing whatever potential costs she could think of, he ran his finger over her burgeoning cleavage. “You have been impossibly distracting today.” He murmured.

Janette inhaled sucking the scent of him in, her skin tingling as she subconsciously leaned back, opening up her chest to him. He stepped even closer to her, pressing her against the conference table. “You’re impossibly distracting everyday.” She replied, clutching his shirt in her hands.

He wagged his finger at her, and then proceeded to pry her grip away from him. “Can’t have you wrinkling my dress shirt now can I?” he replied.

Janette scoffed. “Oh, well excuse me.” She retorted.

Benson grabbed her knee, hitching her leg up on his waist as he ran his hand up her thigh, hiking her skirt up the farther and farther that he went. Janette could feel herself getting wetter and wetter as he rubbed up against her. “Yes, excuse you.” He replied as he slowly unbuttoned the first four buttons of her oxford shirt, exposing her black, Victoria’s Secret bra. She sighed at the sensation of that draft of air brushing over her chest. “Oh fuck.” She breathed.

At that, he grabbed a handful of her thick hair, driving her face towards his. He pressed his lips against hers, his thick tongue prying her lips open. She split them with a sigh, her body practically melting into his. They stood there for minutes that seemed to last lifetimes, drinking each other in. It was the most glorious she had felt in a long time. Soon enough, she was starting to lose her breath, her head was spinning and she could feel herself digging into his skin, his muscles flexing reflexively.

“I don’t know why I waited this long.” He whispered, right before he began to suck her neck.

Janette laughed at this, edging his head away from her neck. She could not afford the awkwardness of leaving the courtroom with a clean neck and coming back with a hickie the size of an orange. He flipped her bra out of the way, placing his right hand on her left breast, his fingers flicking the nipple while he wrapped his lips around her right breast, his tongue tickling her. She moaned before responding with, “Because back then, you still had a chance of winning this case without distracting me.” She replied as he reached up and pealed down her sheer, black stocking.

“Is that so?” he murmured to her.

She nodded, fumbling with his buttons and his zipper before dipping her hand inside of his pants and wrapping her fingers around his cock. Even from inside of his expensive work pants, it was pulsating and hard. Janette felt a shock-like sensation grip her in between her legs at the mere thought of him banging around inside of her. “Uh-hu.” She murmured, a smile playing at her lips as he slowly lifted his head away from her breasts, his cheeks flushed and his eyes rolling back in his. If it was possible to be even more aroused that she already was, seeing him respond so strongly to her touch made her so. “What you don’t know…” she started as she lowered herself so that she was level with his waist, a smile playing at her lips at the sight of his cock bobbing up and down right in front of her face. She grabbed it and licked it, her tongue traveling the long journey from the base of his penis up to the tip, then continued with, “… is that you’re the one who’s gonna walk out of this impossibly distracted.” She replied.

“Is that so?” he murmured as he placed both of his hands on the crown of her head. “Because I beg to differ.” He reached down, grabbing her chest once more. She pealed his hand off of her, placing his finger into her mouth and sucking on it.

He all but whimpered as he guided her head towards his crock. She giggled, as she placed the entirety of his penis in her mouth, feeling the member pulsate as she continued to lick and suck him.

“Oh, I need to be inside of you.” He grunted.

“Mom… the feeling is mutual.” She replied as she stood up and turned around. She winced as he slapped her butt, what little fat she had retained over the many years of squats and leg workouts responding to his hand. “That feels so good.” She breathed as he sat his hard penis on top of her right cheek. He rubbed it against her, teasing her and teasing her, until she could hardly take it anymore. Her jaw swung open as he pressed himself inside of her, a shot of pleasure tumbling up her spine and driving all thoughts of anything that wasn’t Benson out of her mind. He rammed himself in and out, in and out, until she could feel her muscle spasms all the way up her torso and all the way down her legs. He reached up and grabbed a handful of her hair, pulling her head back until she could barely breathe. As he got closer and closer to his climax, he drove himself in, harder and deeper, until every thrust shoved her into the conference table and the conference table into the wall. She felt like she could have been flying for there was no such thing as up or down, no such thing as falling. Her whole face jiggled up and down, the wall-clock hanging on the opposite wall becoming nothing but a blur as she felt herself orgasm, her pelvis falling into itself and her toes curling.

He ripped his penis out of her.

“Don’t you dare-“ she ordered, but he had already cum… all over back. She sucked in a deep breath to calm her still-pounding heartbeat. “I swear if you got even a drop of that on my-“

He chuckled at this. “Relax. It’s all on your back baby.” He replied.

Janette released a sigh of relief. “Oh thank God.” She muttered to herself, then, to him. “What are you waiting for? Go get me a tissue.” She ordered.

Luckily, there was a tray holding a pitcher of water, a stack of glasses and a roll of paper towel. Janette bit her lip as he rubbed her clean, already wishing he would just fuck her again. But even she could see that ever doing this again was a very bad idea. She was pretty sure that if her boss ever found out she was involved with anyone in his firm he would fire her on the spot; something about some personal vendetta he held.

He had finished far too soon. “There you go. Cleaner than ever.” He replied, slapping her one last time.

She flinched, than straightened up, furiously redressing herself. “I can assure you that is not true.” She replied.

He laughed at this. “Oh, is it not?”

She giggled as she watched him dress himself. “You know, that really did backfire.” She commented.

He raised an eyebrow. “How so?”

She shrugged, slipping her brief out of her briefcase and laying it face down on the conference table. “My mind is clearer than ever.” She replied, glowering at him.

He scoffed. “You’re such an amazing liar.” He replied in a mocking voice.

That smirk of triumph stuck on his face was starting to really annoy her. “And you’re such an amazing fuck.” She replied, facing her brief so that she could quickly go over her final statements. “Go. I need to rehearse this.”

He let out a low chuckle as he made his way to the door. “That’s so cute. You need to go over your statement.” He teased.

She glared at him. “I could punch you right now.”

He shrugged. “Well, you already had sex with me….” He murmured.

“Get out, Benson! I mean it!” Janette shouted.

He just continued to giggle as he opened the door and walked out, making sure to shut it behind him. She sighed to herself as she continued to work on the final statement, not stopping until she was sure she had said everything she needed to say, when it needed to be said and exactly how it should be said. With that accomplished, she then packed up her brief, and re-immersed herself into the hallway.

“Oh! There you are!” Pixie caught up with her. “I’ve been looking everywhere for you.” She cried.

Janette rolled her eyes. Pixie’s intense melodrama over everything was really starting to get to her. “Oh, you got the yogurt.” She replied as she snatched it out of her hands and kept walking. “Great. Now, let’s go in there and win you your case.”
