As they lay there catching their breath, she said, “Hey, weren’t you suppose to get all carnivore and bite me?”

He chuckled. “I had forgotten to ask your permission before, and didn’t want you to get upset. I wasn’t sure you’d remember that part.”

“Well, now I feel gipped. You ready to go again, big boy?”

His cock engorged instantly. “I’m sure I can do much better the next go round.”

She turned from him and got on her hands and knees. Looking over her shoulder, she teased, “Bring it on, wolf man.”

He couldn’t stop staring at her upturned ass. If he didn’t know better he would think she was a wolf. She was brazen and free with her affection, only with him. He shook himself out of his stupor and ran the fingernails of both hands over her backside and when she shivered, he groaned. “Baby, if you keep teasing me I’m gonna go crazy.”

“Who’s teasing? Get your ass over here and start plowin’ the field. Don’t forget the snack this time.” She made a biting motion with her teeth.

She was so alluring. He didn’t know how he had restrained himself up until this point. No more, though. They would mate often and with vigor.

He leaned over her and put his teeth to the juncture of her neck and shoulder and nibbled lightly.

“Now look who’s teasing.” Before the words were out of her mouth, he had rooted himself in her so deep that she gasped, then moaned. Her hips began to move in circles. Then she reached under her and lightly scraped her nails over his sensitive sac.

He was on fire for her. When she touched his balls, he couldn’t hold back any longer; he accelerated his movement and could hear his balls slapping against her. He reached between her legs and pinched her clit at the same time he bit her shoulder. They both went off at the same time, long and hard.

She would never ever fail to see Jake for what he was. Her savior. Her life. Her everlasting love. Her Alpha mate.

Epilogue

1 week later

Shana wasn’t nervous in the least. She was in her wedding dress while her family and pack were waiting for her at the most beautifully set wedding. They were getting married in the woods behind her new home. The home her mate had provided. Sometimes it amazed her at how her life had changed. The perfect man, who invited her and her son into his life, and pack. She had two bridesmaids: Tara, already there, and Katie was on her way, due any moment.

Katie came rushing in. “I’m so sorry I’m late. This place is huge and I got lost.”

Shana hugged her old friend. “The roads are kinda narrow, but I thought you had GPS. By the way, this is Tara.”

They shook hands. “Yes, I have GPS and I even used it, but I got lost in
your home
, not my car. Unfortunately, you didn’t tell me you lived in a mansion or I would have asked for a map. Yeah, right, third door on the left.” She looked to her friend. “By the way, you look magnificent. You have a glow about you.” Shana blushed. “Let’s get you to your groom.”

Shana’s father was waiting to walk her down the aisle. The groomsmen were lined up next to Jake. Trevor went down the aisle quickly holding the rings. When he got to Jake, he hugged him briefly and then stood to his side.

The bridesmaids went next and then, before you knew it, Shana was walking down to her fate, her wolf. Her father lifted her veil and placed a chaste kiss on her lips. He had tears in his eyes. “I’m so proud of you, baby.” Then he sat with her mother who was also crying.

When Shana looked to her soon-to-be husband, electricity sparked between them. The preacher began the service, but they barely heard him. Halfway between the vows, a light breeze tickled their hair and suddenly Conner looked agitated. He left his place in Jake’s line and made a beeline to Katie. He bent down and sniffed her neck. His expression was pure bliss while Katie looked outraged.

“You’re ruining their vows, you dolt. Back in line.” At her words, Jake and Shana laughed openly. Conner, however, just stood there next to Katie, eyes closed, breathing deep.

“Please continue,” Jake instructed. As they exchanged vows, they each accepted each other, and Trevor, with open arms. They exchanged rings that were inscribed. When Shana read her inscription, she laughed out loud at the ‘naughty little minx’ engraved inside her wedding band. Jake’s simply read ‘my prince, now & forever.’

The wedding was a hit, with the exception of Trevor’s speech.
Who gives a five-year-old the microphone anyways?
“I’m so happy that we found our Jakie. He makes us both happy. He reads to me and tucks me in at night, and sometimes he gives me cookies when mommy says no. Mostly I’m happy to have a daddy.” Everyone ohh’d and awed. “Plus when mommy has the babies she gonna need lotsa help.”

The room went silent; you could hear a pin drop. Shana turned adoring eyes to her son as Jake sniffed her and picked her up while spinning her around. He sniffed her neck again and said quietly in her ear, “Well, hot damn. We’re gonna have ourselves some babies.” He couldn’t wait to get her alone so they could celebrate.

Oh, and Katie and Conner—well, that’s a different story.
