Running off at strange times,
not knowing what they had just made plans to do, the constant
changing of clothes... oh, she knew damn good and well what the men
had done to her. Only one emotion came to the surface,
uncontrollable laughter. Laughter
so
out of control that she
had to immediately bury her face in her own stack of clean clothes to
hide from one of the Coltons in the other room.
No...they...didn't!

The men had done something
childish, outlandish, and completely uncalled for.
I love it!
It was a joke that she would have done herself, if she were a twin.
Then again, she wouldn't have to be a twin to get her fun loving
revenge.
Colton picked me up, he's the one that likes Shiner.
He's also the one that I...
The perfect plan was hatched, as it
was obvious that the other brother wasn't supposed to touch her, that
was reserved for Colton. It was also clear that the two men had set
the other one up with strange scenarios to throw the other one off of
their game.
Let the real game begin, boys.

Morgan continued to laugh,
trying to be quiet, as she put her clothes away and thought about the
men. Her last client was so uptight that he had actually sent her
away for having too much fun, and then her next one is the exact
opposite. The men liked fun, in fact, they were willing to go
through all of their theatrics just to have a good time. Yes, she
loved it, but the end game belonged to her. Morgan turned the frame
over and started to slide it back under the dresser, and that's when
she saw that their names were engraved on the back of the frame.
Colton and Kyle. 2012.

She came back into the living
room, nearly skipping, went up to the real Colton and gave him a long
and deep kiss, then went over to the kitchen and plucked another
strawberry out of the container. After doing a little spin, she
headed back to the couch and plopped down.
This is going to be
good. Let's see what you have to say.

“So, you going to
tell me what all of that is for?” She gestured toward the items
on the table and took a bite of the large strawberry.

“Dinner, of course,”
he told her, then went over to the table, picking up the pack of
chicken.

“I don't suppose I'm
eating batteries though.” She took a second bite of her fruit
and propped her feet up on the coffee table.

“No, I just wanted you to
get those out before I forgot. The flashlight died.” He
disappeared around the corner and Morgan heard him putting the
chicken into the oven.
Didn't want chicken for dinner, dude.
Thanks.
Colton shook his head, mentally thanking his brother for
setting him up. But then again, he'd sent Kyle to his house thinking
they were going out to dinner when he knew good and well what he and
Morgan had planned for the evening.

Oh, you're smooth. Good job!
Morgan congratulated him in her head, but then realized he'd had
at least five minutes to come up with that. “Are you going to
finish watching the movie with me?” She rubbed the empty space
beside her, calling him to her.

Colton nodded, grabbed himself
a beer, and quickly made it over to her side. “You know, I
think I'd like to try one of those Texas Teas you were drinking. It
sounds good after all,” she told him right as he sat.

Oh, shit. Come on, Kyle. I
don't drink that shit.
“You do? I've still got your wine in
there,” he tried to cover, pointing his thumb toward the
kitchen like a hitchhiker.

“Yeah..you're right,
maybe I shouldn't mix the two anyway,” she smiled to herself,
then snuggled into his chest. It felt nice to be back with the real
Colton, but her fun wasn't done. Not by a long shot. Morgan turned on
the movie, then paused it again quickly before he had the chance to
even see what was playing. “I missed that last part, right
when the horse got out, what happened?” She was referring to
the movie...the movie that he probably assumed was Texas Chainsaw
Massacre.

“Oh, I didn't catch it
either. We can just take it back a scene or two,” he suggested.
Morgan casually brought her hand up to her mouth to hide her growing
smile.
You are very good, Coal-ton.
It made her smile even
more because a movie hadn't even been playing when the 'horse got
out'. One of his hands went to her thigh as the other one reached for
the remote on the other side of Morgan. As he crossed over her, he
couldn't resist stealing a kiss. His hand slid under her shirt, up to
her breast, as their tongues tangoed and Morgan got another idea.

“So soon? I'd thought
you'd gotten enough of me by now. You've got the stamina of a bull,”
she giggled, but his face changed as the meaning of her words became
clear.

“What...so soon?”
Colton was confused.
He wouldn't touch her. Did he? Or does she
consider last night soon?

She was sure the color
had drained from his cheeks, but she didn't let on. “Three
rounds in an hour? I'm not complaining...I was just hoping to
actually see some of the movie,” she laughed again, wishing she
could be in his mind right then.
Oh, that's good.
Come on,
what do you have to say?

“Obviously, you've
never had a real country man,” he told her, then kissed her
neck, her chest, then finally her lips. He was playing cool, but
Morgan knew what he was thinking and she wasn't going to let him run
away any time soon to talk to Kyle about it either. Nope, she'd go
with him the next time he needed to attend to a horse, or a door
or....
mail. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky.
“I guess if you're
tired, we can just finish the movie...”

“I'd rather finish what
we started before you left...” Morgan stood and took his hand,
then pulled him from the couch. “Grab that blanket,” she
pointed, then began walking toward the front door.

“Where are you going?”
He did as she asked, but he was confused.

“We're going to your
truck.”

Chapter Nine

Colton followed her outside,
with the blanket from the sofa. Her words had finally worked on him
enough that he was no longer interested in having truck time, he just
wanted to talk to Kyle and find out why he had broken the rules to
their agreement. In fact, he had tried to call off the whole game
the day before, but Kyle was having too much fun and asked for just a
little more time to enjoy their pretty guest. He knew that he should
have stood his ground, but Kyle was good at getting his own way with
the easy going Colton, and a few more days were agreed upon.
However, it would end that night and Colton wasn't planning on
backing down.

“You look a million miles
away. What's wrong?” The innocence that Morgan heard in her
own voice made her turn her head as the smile on her face refused to
be ignored.
Go ahead, make up some silly excuse to leave. Kyle's
next.

“I was just thinking that
since I'm out here, I should probably...”

“Check a horse...or
something?” Morgan had to keep her face turned, the stubborn
smile was still winning the battle. She heard a deep intake of
breath, then Colton said that he really did need to check the barn.
“Alright, I'll be right here when you get back.” She
finally looked in his direction, but had only watched his back as he
stomped toward the barn. “Get 'em tiger.” She giggled
as she leaned back on the blanket that Colton threw in the back
before leaving. Her plan of going with him had changed, because
messing with Kyle would be just as fun... before busting them both,
that is.

Kyle was brushing Razzle when
Colton stormed into the barn. “What did you do? Three times?
What happened to our agreement?” Colton's questions weren't
making sense to his brother, and Kyle put his hands up for a time
out.

“I have no idea what your
talkin' about. When she starts getting all handsy, I leave.... I
haven't touched her at all. But I want to, damn do I want to.”
Kyle's admission pissed him off even more, but he also realized that
his brother was telling the truth. Kyle had always been easy for
Colton to read, and it was clear to him that he wasn't lying. Still,
he didn't even want his brother thinking about putting his hands on
Morgan. “Colt, let me go find out what's goin' on... give me
your shirt, we forgot last time and she noticed.” Colton said
no at first, but Kyle said again that he just wanted to see what
Morgan was talking about, and that he would get to the bottom of it.

“Fine, but you get thirty
minutes. That's it. And keep your hands to yourself.” They
exchanged shirts, and Kyle pulled the red tee over his head. “I
mean it, thirty minutes.” Kyle nodded, then took a deep breath
and left the barn.

Morgan caught sight of the man
jogging down the hill toward her, and she giggled again as she
thought of how she would find out which one had just left the barn to
join her. It really didn't matter which tactic she chose, they would
all be amusing... to her.

“Sorry about that, now
where were we?” The man sat on the tailgate of the truck and
smiled at Morgan as she sat up the rest of the way. Kyle was going
to take his time in finding out what the 'three times' business was
about, because he had no intentions of letting on that he was
actually interrogating her.

“Well, I believe you were
just about to tell me about that constellation...,” she pointed
above them and to the left, “right there.” When Kyle
looked up to see what she was pointing toward, Morgan knew which
brother she was dealing with.
Hello, Kyle.
“But, I'd
rather you tell me from in here.” She scooted to the side and
pulled on his arm, forcing him to lose balance and fall to his side.
He looked around nervously, which made Morgan bite her lip again, and
he sat up on his elbow but kept a few feet between them. She
actually started to feel a little guilty as he looked from her to the
sky, but kept the charade going to see how it would turn out.
“You're too far away.” Morgan moved closer to the man,
and he had nowhere to go since his back was already against the side
of the truck.

“Uh, how about we go back
and finish that movie.” He started to sit up, and Morgan
remained on her side and watched him jump from the truck's bed. Very
quickly, as it was a spur of the moment decision, she pulled her
sweater off and placed it beside her. Then, before he turned around,
the front clasp to her bra was opened and the purple satin fell to
her waist.

“How about we just stay
here?” She sat up, placing her arms behind her, and rested on
her elbows. The move pushed her chest out even further, and when he
turned around, Kyle lost the ability to remember what she had just
asked.

Up on the hill, Colton was
peeking out of Razzle's stall, trying to see what was happening
below. He really hoped he hadn't just seen her remove her shirt...he
really, really hoped that wasn't the case. It was far away, slightly
foggy, and she'd laid down in the bed of his truck, so he couldn't be
sure, but he'd do his best to find out.

“Oh, fuck. Uhm...wow,”
Kyle turned around quickly, on instinct, but tried to cover for his
rude
action. He wanted to respect his brother, but not many
men would turn his back on that sight.

“Come on, Colton, you
said only if I removed my shirt, you'd tell me about the stars. Come
up here and teach me,” she patted the metal bed beside her but
he didn't join her.

“That constellation?”
he asked nervously, pointing up at the sky. He risked a quick look
over his shoulder and Morgan nodded, still topless and still smiling.
“Uhm...” he cleared his throat, “that's Orion. See
those three stars there?” Again, he took a look over his
shoulder, trying to focus only on her face and she nodded once more.
“That's his belt...you know...Orion's be...”

“How about you come over
here and let me investigate your belt?”

“Maybe you should put
your shirt back on, let's go inside, where it's warm...”

“Come on, it was your
idea to come out here,” Morgan told him, then sat up, but
leaned back on her hands. If Colton was watching, which she knew he
was, she wanted him to see.

And see he did. “Dammit!
Don't you look at her, Kyle...” Colton mumbled under his breath
as he tried to think of something to draw Kyle's attention back to
the barn.

“Okay, you're tired, I
get it. Just come up here and lay with me then, let's watch the
stars.” The stars that seemed to have his full attention
already.

“I'm also cold, aren't
you cold?”

“You're not co...”
Both of them turned toward the barn where a loud commotion sounded.
Kyle stared for a moment, wondering what he should do, but that gave
Morgan the split second that she needed. She grabbed her sweater,
jumped from the truck and took off running. Once the sweater was
thrown over her head, she ran faster, up the hill and to the barn.
She'd already been too far ahead of Kyle before he'd realized what
she was doing and he couldn't catch her.

“Morgan!” She
didn't stop, didn't even slow down. “Morgan, stop!” Kyle
was right behind her by the time she reached the barn door, but it
was too late. She pushed it open and right in front of her, Colton
was spread out on the ground.

“Oh my God, Colton! Are
you okay?” She knelt down beside him and put her hand under his
head, lifting it slightly.
