I am indebted to Hor Tuck Loon of Malaysia, Dharma friend who I have yet to meet, for the concept, design, and execution of this book.
I am indebted to Zareen Jaffery of Hyperion for her enthusiastic editorial embrace of this project and her conscientious and good-natured shepherding of it to completion.
And finally, I am indebted to Bob Miller of Hyperion for his initial suggestion to pursue this format, and for his friendship and collegiality over our long years of association around books, life, and love.
