“That little sneak,” she muttered.

“I bribed her. Box after box of chocolates.”

Quinn laughed, then shook her head in amazement. “You're really here. I've dreamed about this and imagined, but I can't believe you're really here.”

“I'm really here. For as long as you—and the L.A. gardening and landscape design community—will have me.”

“For a lifetime, Wyatt, for a lifetime.” She threw her arms around him and squeezed. Hard. “Don't ever walk out on me again. My heart can't take it.”

“Mine can't, either,” he whispered then kissed her again. And just like in Diamond Valley, Quinn heard the sound of swirling violins signaling the sweet beginning.
