The correct abbreviation for the Hong Kong Police Force is HKPF. However, for ease of reading I have made it HKPD.

Finally, I’d like to acknowledge one of my favorite actors of all time who sadly passed away while I was writing
Avenger
. Lewis Collins was best known for his portrayal of the hard-hitting CI5 agent Bodie in the British TV series
The Professionals
and later starred as Captain Peter Skellern in the SAS movie
Who Dares Wins.
At one time Lewis was considered the natural successor to Roger Moore in the role of James Bond and while his no-nonsense screen test foreshadowed Daniel Craig’s Bond, unfortunately he was considered too hard for 1980s audiences. Lewis Collins’ performances as Bodie and Skellern left a lasting impression on me. He was a major influence on the development of my protagonist and, in my mind’s eye, he will always be the prototype Alex Morgan.

Chris Allen writes escapist action thrillers for realists, having seen and done it all.
A former paratrooper, Chris served in three Commonwealth armies across two decades and four continents. He left the military due to injuries, retiring at the rank of Major. In addition to his military career, Chris has served with three law enforcement agencies in Australia, led security operations for an international aid agency in East Timor during the emergency in 1999, and was headhunted to take over the protection of Sydney’s most iconic landmark, the Sydney Opera House. In 2008 Chris was appointed Sheriff of New South Wales, one of Australia’s most historic law enforcement appointments. Today, he continues his career as a writer and government senior executive. Chris and his wife, Sarah, live in Sydney. They have two small boys, Morgan and Rhett.
In his Intrepid series, Chris puts the reader deep within the action. His protagonist, Alex Morgan, represents the embodiment of Chris’s own military and law enforcement insider experience. Intrepid is the Intelligence, Recovery, Protection and Infiltration Division of Interpol, a top secret black ops taskforce operating in the shadows to protect the world’s most vulnerable people from the worst among us.
Has Alex Morgan finally met his match?
A ghost from the past, an omnipotent billionaire, loyalty tested to the limit and all roads lead to RENEGADE. Morgan commits to the toughest mission of his career and his chances of survival are slim at best. Trust has become little more than a commodity to be bought and sold and old friends re-emerge as the very heart of INTREPID faces destruction.
General Davenport sends Alex Morgan deep into the shadows of the post Cold War European underworld to stare fear in the face, unseat an oligarch, and bring a spy in from the cold. But Morgan's connection to the target is closer than he could ever have imagined.
Helldiver brings Interpol’s ultra secret, black ops division Intrepid to it’s knees, and it’s up to Alex Morgan and Elizabeth Reigns to wrest their agency back from the brink.
