“Fuck me silly? Well, you’re going to have to catch me first.”

Both men looked startled for a moment, and she used their surprise to her advantage, diving over the smaller bed behind her and scampering to the far side of the room. Truth be told, she really didn’t have anywhere to go, but since she wanted to be caught, it didn’t matter all that much.

They grinned, that silent communication twin thing they did so well passing between them before they headed in opposite directions in an attempt to corner her. She felt a ridiculous, giddy excitement just knowing they were coming to catch her. Her breathing quickened, her eyes darting around the room, looking for a way to elude them just a little longer.

They approached wearing identical arrogant grins. Close enough to almost corner her, she did the one thing they hadn’t been expecting. She scurried under the bed, scrambling to her feet and running to the other side of the room. Both men laughed at her attempts to elude them, but this time, when they got close enough, she knew it wouldn’t work twice. She jumped up onto the closest bed, ready to bounce from one to the other if necessary. But she never got the chance.

Strong arms grabbed her ankles, dropping her to her hands and knees. She giggled breathlessly, kicking out at them, not trying to cause pain but hopefully enough for them to let them go. “Look what I caught, Ty,” Ryan said with a smug sounding laugh. “A brat in need of a spanking.”

Mikayla couldn’t hide the mirth that burbled through her or the arousal that grew heavier with each breath. Ryan and Ty had never played spanking games with her before, so she found the offer rather appealing.

“I don’t know,” Ryan said as he reached over from the other side of the bed, grabbed her hands, and stretched her facedown over the mattress. “Maybe we should get one of her Doms to hand out some real punishment. It would seem that just the thought of a spanking turns our wife on.”

Ty held her ankles together with one hand and ran the other up the back of her thighs and over her ass. She clenched the muscles, playfully denying him access to her pussy. But he pushed her ankles closer to her body, forcing her knees apart. His fingers ran through the wet folds of her pussy, managing to run over her already swollen clit again and again and again until she was panting with the effort not to come.

“It would seem that you are right. She’s soaking wet and begging to be fucked.”

Mikayla squirmed in his hold. Ryan and Ty had always been playful lovers but being caught by them like this, being held down, being forced toward orgasm, was building her tension in ways she hadn’t expected. Breathing rapidly, every muscle shaking in anticipation, Mikayla nearly cried with relief when Ty let go of her ankles and lowered his weight over her. His cock probed her slit, rubbing and spreading her copious juices until she thought she might scream with frustration.

She began to wriggle, fighting for his possession, trying to force his cock into her body. But he laughed and pressed a kiss to her neck. “Soon,” he promised as he rolled away, and Ryan quickly took his place. He did the same, teasing, sliding, gliding against her slippery flesh, but not penetrating her, not fucking her. She whimpered pathetically, desperate for their possession.

Ryan shifted his weight, still holding her facedown, but lifting her hips slightly. He thrust hard and deep, and she cried out at the incredible sensation of finally being filled. He lifted her higher, fucking her harder, faster. She cried out as his fingers found her clit. Panting, clawing at the mattress, trying to find leverage, Mikayla groaned in frustration when he pressed her upper half harder against the mattress but pulled his cock from her body.

“Shhh, darlin’. We’ll take care of you.” She nodded eagerly, pleased to at least hear the words, but then Ryan chuckled and pressed his cock against her pussy.

“Eventually,” he added.

“Now!” she demanded, finally tilting over into frustrated anger. Every nerve ending buzzed, every muscle shook, every inch of her skin felt stretched and tight and way too sensitive for the soft caress she felt on her ass. “Please.”

Ryan slammed into her so hard and fast that she slid across the bed. He dragged her back, pulling her to the edge of the mattress, plowing into her pussy over and over, giving her what she craved, what she needed. Rammed to the hilt, he held still, kissed her neck, and whispered, “Ride Ty for me, sweetheart. I want your ass.”

She nodded, eagerly crawling over Ty as he lay down across the bed, his legs dangling over the side. He pulled her legs higher, wider, exposing her anus to his brother’s gaze as he sank his thick cock into her dripping wet pussy.

She heard the lube, felt the cool touch on her skin, gasped as Ryan worked it into her ass. Finally, he eased into her back passage, caressing her spine as he slid deeper. They both held still. Ryan lifted her upper half, his hands caressing her aching breasts as his brother watched. His cock slid deeper at this angle, her grip on Ty becoming tighter. He groaned beneath her, bucked up into her pussy, grabbed her hips, and lifted her again.

Together they rode her. In and out. Up and down. Harder, deeper, faster her husbands fucked her together. Their teamwork seamless, their love for her obvious. Thick fingers found her clit, squeezed the little nub over and over. She panted, gasped, urged them both on as every nerve ending burst with excitement. Back and forth heat swelled through her. Over her. Within her. She screamed as her ass and pussy convulsed around them both.

Ryan groaned his orgasm. Ty followed almost immediately, holding her harder against him, grinding his cock deep into her pussy as his brother pulsed in her ass.

Ryan’s grip loosened, and she fell forward onto Ty’s warm chest, cuddling closer. “I love you both so much,” she said in a breathless voice. “Thank you.”

Ty seemed confused, but Ryan chuckled as he slipped from her ass. When it looked like Ty might ask for an explanation, Mikayla pressed a kiss to his lips and said quietly, “Thank you for helping me to not be afraid.”

“We love you, Mikayla,” Ty said so fiercely tears filled her eyes. “And we will always,
always
protect you.”

“So that means you never need to be frightened,” Ryan added confidently.

Mikayla smiled as she snuggled against Ty and closed her eyes. Sleep beckoned, and right at the moment she had no inclination to deny her need for rest.

Ryan moved to the nearest bathroom, grabbed a wet cloth and headed back to the bed. Careful not to wake her, Ty shuffled further into the middle and lifted her slightly so that Ryan could clean her up.

When he was finished, he slid onto the bed next to his brother and watched his wife’s face as she slept. Dark color bruised the area under her eyes. She’d obviously had difficulty getting enough rest in the last few nights, and he hoped that the nap she was taking now would help.

He glanced at Ty and started to look away but his gaze skidded back to the worried look on his brother’s face. Despite how flippant Ty tried to act at times, Ryan knew his twin brother took his responsibilities very seriously—especially when it came to his wife.

Ryan wanted to say something to reassure his brother, but he didn’t want Mikayla to overhear any of their doubts. He took a deep breath, trying to still the tempest of worries flooding his own mind. He felt better just knowing that his brothers were here helping to protect the woman they all loved, but he hoped that when the time came that he could live up to his own promises.

Ty watched the woman sleeping in his arms. He could almost hear the words Ryan wanted to say, but knew he held silent for the same reason Ty did—he didn’t want Mikayla to hear how worried they were for her safety. For some reason, despite all of the problems they’d faced over the last few years, this time it felt different.

Even Lachlan and Bryce were on edge. They both hid it well, but Ty had seen the changes in his brothers. They weren’t the relaxed, confident men they’d been on the other planets. Ty ran his fingers through Mikayla’s hair and touched her face softly. She wriggled, still asleep, and turned her cheek into his hand.

And it suddenly became obvious why his brothers were on edge.

This time Mikayla was the specific target. The threat wasn’t a few dumb-ass raiders willing to risk injury to steal mouse tears, or even religious fanatics trying to frame them for murder. This time the threat was from a man who’d already endangered Mikayla once before, and who wouldn’t hesitate to kill her to gain his own freedom.

Ty wrapped his arms more tightly around his wife. Ryan shifted slightly and gave him a look that confirmed he knew exactly what Ty was thinking. They would protect her to their dying breaths simply because they didn’t want to live life without her.

Chapter Five

The station’s proximity alarm screeched suddenly.

Lachlan abandoned his paperwork, grabbed his weapons, and bolted down the hallway. He reached the surveillance room to find Bryce staring intently at the camera feeds. Lachlan glanced at his brother, and concern that Bryce hadn’t seemed to have slept in days washed through him. In some ways he hoped this alarm did bring trouble. If they could neutralize the danger, they’d all sleep more easily.

Lachlan quickly took a seat at the communications console and cut off the warning alarm mid shriek. It didn’t mean the danger was past. It was simply so he could hear any outside dangers more clearly.

After a few minutes of studying the monitors in tense silence, Lachlan and Bryce were able to identify the incoming craft as a standard courier vehicle. It sure as hell didn’t mean it
was
a standard courier vehicle, but they had no wish to scare the shit out of the poor mailman if that’s all he was.

“I’ll go,” Bryce said, but Lachlan shook his head and pushed away from the desk.

“I’ve got it,” he said as he left the room and headed out the back door of the station. He reset the shield and alarms for that door and then jogged to the backdoor of the farmhouse. He made it into the living area by the time the courier landed in the front yard. It almost seemed ridiculous that a simple unexpected delivery could cause so much tension, but with the possible threat that Mikayla and Tracey faced, none of them were willing to accept anything at face value.

Lachlan watched the courier through the monitor for the front door, relaxing slightly when he noticed the man acting exactly as a mailman would. There were no furtive movements or lingering observations, just a young man with what looked like a letter in his hand heading to the front door of the Davidson residence.

The chime sounded, and Lachlan waited a few moments before pulling the door open. He’d seen no evidence of a weapon but if the guy were to shoot the moment Lachlan opened the door, Lachlan truly had little chance to react.

Braced for anything, he almost laughed with relief when the courier thrust an ornate envelope into his hand and asked him to sign the electronic pad. As soon as Lachlan scribbled his signature, the young man wished him a good day, turned, and headed back to his small flying craft.

Lachlan watched until the tiny vehicle was a dot on the horizon and then turned his attention to the envelope in his hand. Everything about it suggested that it was simply what it appeared, but the return address was unfamiliar, so he decided against taking stupid chances.

“Bryce, it looks like it’s just a letter,” he said into the short range communicators they all now carried. “Stand down the alert and have Ty meet me in his lab in the barn.”

“Will do,” Bryce said in his usual steady voice. No matter how difficult things got or how much a situation might rattle him, Bryce always seemed relaxed. Despite the lack of sleep, Bryce still projected quiet confidence. Lachlan knew it was years of practice that held the façade in place, but it was still comforting to know Bryce was always in control.

Only Mikayla and Matt had witnessed Bryce’s nightmares—the one place Bryce couldn’t control his fears. Lachlan only knew of them because Mikayla had confided her worries to him one day after a particularly intense and sleepless night. But even with the proof that Bryce was indeed as flawed a human as the rest of them, Lachlan was relieved to have the man around.

Ty was in the lab by the time Lachlan got there. Lachlan held up the letter for Ty to see and then placed it inside the scanner basket. They’d initially installed the medical diagnostic equipment to be able to monitor the health and growth of their newborn stock, but Lachlan was hoping the machine would also be able to detect anything sinister on or in the envelope.

Fortunately, every test suggested that the envelope was exactly what it looked like. Lachlan retrieved it from the scanner and slid a finger under the edge of the old-fashioned, ornate envelope. Confused to find a wedding invitation inside, Lachlan pulled the card out and read over it quickly. One name stuck out—Jessie Evans.
