Walking into the room, I gently knocked on the door. I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t going to interrupt or wake him if he was resting. Megan looked up at me first, and I must have not been able to get my thoughts of Zane out of my head. “Hey, Rhylie, did you all get everything done at the house? Something must have gone well, look at that grin on your face.”

Aileen looked over at me and smiled. “I’m so happy to see you, Rhylie, thanks for stopping by. I haven’t seen you smile like that in at least a year. Do we need to kick Terry out for a while so we can have some girl talk and get the scoop?”

I started to blush, not expecting to be so transparent. Terry was lying there shaking his head at it all. “I don’t know if you noticed, dear, but I’m a little attached to my bed so I’m not going anywhere. I’m really sorry about all this, Rhylie. We really didn’t mean to leave you in charge and taking care of everything today, but I really appreciate you stepping up as usual. Aileen is hoping for me to be out of here in a day or two, but they aren’t going to let me do much for a while. Did the guys get the stuff moved?”

Mrs. D. had a grin on her face as she waved her finger at him. “Oh, you better believe I’m not letting you overexert yourself. You wouldn’t let me do anything but dust. I think you are going to be sitting back, what was it you told me to do, just supervise?”

I couldn’t help but let a chuckle escape. “I’m glad to see the two of you see eye to eye now. The guys did get everything moved and into the garage like you asked. Zane decided to stay in town so someone could be there for the deliveries that you have scheduled. He didn’t want Mrs. D. to have to leave you up here to harass the nurses.”

“Well that was awful sweet of him to stay and help out. He seems to be a real gentleman.” Mrs. D. was smiling at me as she talked about Zane. “Where is he planning on staying though? All of Luke’s things are buried in the garage right now.”

“Umm, well, I told him he could stay at my place.” I could feel the warmth rising in my cheeks as they all looked at me knowingly. “It’s not like that. Well, I don’t think it is anyway. He was going to sleep on the floor at the new house and I didn’t see that as reasonable. I told him he could crash on my futon.”

Megan was the worst. She had this spark in her eye and a grin more mischievous than the Cheshire Cat. “Are you telling us that you have a true gentleman at home, that mind you is quite attractive, and you are sitting here with a bunch of old farts? Maybe you aren’t as much like me when I was younger as I thought.”

“Hey now, I wanted to make sure that you didn’t need anything, to see how Mr. D. was doing, and I wanted you to know that we got everything taken care of, including the deliveries.”

“Dear, you could have done all of that with a phone call. We don’t know anything different until they run the tests tomorrow. Seems as though they don’t like doing anything on a Sunday around here. They are just monitoring everything at this point. Now get home, relax, and have some fun. Let your hair down a little.”

“Okay, fine, I’m leaving. I can tell I’m not wanted. Just please keep me posted on what you find out tomorrow.” As I walked out the door, I remembered that Zane had called Luke. Knowing that they wouldn’t want to be surprised if Cailyn called, I figured I had better tell them. “Oh, and by the way, Zane called Luke and told him what happened. I think Luke was planning on telling Cailyn tonight.”

The looks that I got as I walked out the door told me that if I did want to have a chance to do anything with Zane tonight, I had better get home quick. Aileen and Megan looked like they wanted to put him in the hospital or worse, but I still wasn’t sure what I wanted. Maybe dinner was going to need a bottle of wine.

Chapter Sixteen

Luke

The door to the bathroom opened as if on its own since all I could see was a cloud of steam billow out. Cailyn stepped through the cloud, her hair wrapped in a towel on top of her head, and droplets of water clinging to her. Every step she took moved her away from the warmth of her shower and I was so very thankful for the fact that she hadn’t bothered to wrap a towel around her body.

Just last night she was bashful to let me see her naked body. A few hours, and a couple amazing sexual acts seemed to have her ready to flaunt what she had. Her nipples hardened in the cool air drawing my gaze to them. Cailyn brought her hands up to cup her breasts, making sure to let her nipples slide between her fingers as she did, and gave me a questioning glance.

“I know you really like these, but I thought you might have noticed something else.”

Pulling my eyes away from her breasts was never easy, especially when she had them cupped in her hands and she rolled her nipples between her fingers. I could already feel the towel I had around my waist slipping away as my cock began to grow. Pulling my gaze away long enough to see what she was referring to, I walked over to her, I took my hand and ran it over her soft and smooth pussy. “Did you shave for me?”

“I felt a little funny at first doing it, but I thought you might like it. I’ve never done it before.” Standing on her tiptoes to reach closer to my ear she whispered in my ear. “You want to know a secret though? Once I was done with my shower and I was putting lotion on, I realized how hot I felt with no hair in the way. I can’t wait to feel your tongue licking me tonight.”

The aforementioned growing cock stood at complete attention and the towel was pushed off my waist from the strain. As it fell to the ground, Cailyn reached down to stroke it. “Not right now, I just got all clean, but I guess I could help you out a little.”

Kneeling down onto the floor, she started to kiss up the side of my shaft, tracing around the tip with her tongue before sliding it between her lips. This was definitely not the time to bring up that her father was in the hospital, but I needed to tell her soon. She had a natural talent when it came to sucking my cock, and it was damn difficult to stop her. “Cailyn, babe, that…aahh…that feels amazing, but we need to get ready. I need to hop back in and finish my shower.”

Her eyes looked up at me as she sucked forcefully on the tip before letting it plop out of her mouth like a lollipop. “Do you not like me sucking your cock? Am I not good enough?” I could tell that she was teasing me. She knew how much I loved it. “I guess you’re right though, I do need to finish getting ready. I’m going to finish later what I started though. Go get your shower while I finish getting ready.”

I was sure that a hot shower would feel amazing after sitting on the plane all day and having my back stiffen up. The only problem was that I knew I needed to have a cold shower right then, or I was going to throw Cailyn down on the bed and fuck her like a maniac. I didn’t even test the water to see how it felt–I just turned it on and stepped into the stream.

It felt like the water had been piped directly from the Artic, and my growing erection seemed to simply vanish so quickly that I had to check and make sure it was still attached. I couldn’t help but let out a yelp from the temperature that must have sounded like I was a middle school aged boy just going through puberty with his voice cracking.

“Are you alright in there?”

“Yeah, I’m fine. The water was just a little colder than I expected.”

“Oops, did I forget to tell you that I used all the hot water?”

Hurrying through the bone rattling cold shower my teeth began to chatter, and for once, it felt good to pull back the curtain and step out of the shower.

“Mmm you look pretty hot when you are dripping wet. You need to go get dressed, and quickly, before I jump you right here. I just got my makeup done and I don’t need to mess it up.”

Walking past Cailyn, I lightly smacked her ass to go get ready for the night. I still hadn’t looked to see what Zane had packed for me so I knew this was going to get interesting. As I opened my bags, the first thing I saw was an ugly Christmas sweater that I didn’t even remember owning. Why in the world would he pack a sweater for me when coming to the tropics? My laughter was too much for Cailyn’s curiosity, and she stuck her head out the door to see what was so funny.

I held the sweater up and asked, “Will this go with what you are wearing tonight?”

“Oh my God. This is why you shouldn’t let your brother pack for your honeymoon. Remind me to kill him.”

“I’m sure I can find something to work with in here. If not, I’ll have to go naked.”

“Umm, that is not an option. I am not going to be beating the women off you all night long. Maybe you should wear the sweater so they want nothing to do with you.”

“Ouch. I could so own that sweater.”

She shook her head at me and closed the door shutting me off from her beautiful body. I still couldn’t believe that we were finally married. What was it going to be like when we got back home? My place was so small. We would have to start looking for a new place as soon as we got home. Knowing I would have to look for a new job put a little pressure on me. I could support us now, but not in the way that Cailyn deserved to live.

Cailyn really wanted to get a job, but I wanted to be able to make sure she didn’t have to worry about getting something she didn’t enjoy. I could respect that she didn’t want to sit at home, but we had still argued over it. As typical, I finally conceded and agreed to let her find something part‐time to keep her occupied.

Digging through the bags, I finally found a nice pair of slacks and a sharp black button down. Cailyn had her little black dress hanging in the bathroom when I walked through so I figured we were going to look like we were going to a funeral more than our honeymoon. That had better not be an omen.

As Cailyn walked out, she took my breath away. I couldn’t believe that she was as beautiful as she was the day before when she walked down the aisle. Granted it wasn’t the same, but this was more of the natural beauty showing through with the just the barest of makeup to accentuate her natural beauty.

“Cat got your tongue?”

“Huh? No, just… Wow! Cai, angel, you look absolutely stunning. Would you do me the honor of having dinner with me tonight?”

“You’re so sweet. I would love to have dinner. What, no flowers?”

“Stay right there, don’t move.” I quickly ran out to the balcony and reached over the side to the flowers growing there. I had no idea what they were, but they were flowers. As beautiful as they were they paled in comparison to her, but that was all I could do.

Carefully I hopped over the edge of the railing and landed just a couple feet lower, trying not to land on too many of the flowers before I walked around to the door. Holding the flowers behind my back while I waited for Cailyn to open the door. I smiled as I brought them around to the front when she opened the door. Her eyes lit up at the sight of them as if she had no idea what I had been doing when I ran outside. “They are beautiful!” She took one and slipped it into her hair before she leaned over to give me a kiss. Nothing more than a quick peck, but you could tell we were both resisting the urge to make it something more.

Reaching out my hand, I waited for her to place hers in mine. I bent my arm and placed her hand in the crook of my arm and off we walked down the path. Our friendly monkeys were there escorting us to the edge of the forest. One of the smaller monkeys even hung by his tail and took the flower out of Cailyn’s hair, and then it tried to mimic her by placing it on top of its head before watching it fall to the ground beneath them. Several of them chased after each other to see who could pick up the flower first It was as if they didn’t realize they were in the middle of a sea of flowers.

We knew there were a few nice restaurants at the resort, but we didn’t know exactly where we were going. The best bet was to walk towards the lobby, and if we didn’t find one on the way we would just have to ask.

The sun was already starting to hang low in the sky so it looked like we would miss the sunset while at dinner. I made a mental note of that. I knew Cailyn would love to take a sunset stroll, but an early sunset meant the chance of being noticed having a little fun on the beach was less.

Just as we got to the front of the resort, Cailyn squeezed my arm. “Look, there’s Giana and Autumn. Hey, girls!” She started to run towards them, pulling me behind her like a ragdoll.

Giana waved as we walked up to them. “Hey, I didn’t think we were supposed to meet up with you until after dinner. You look amazing!”

“Thanks. Yea, about that. Can you point us in the direction of somewhere to eat? We’ve been a little too busy for that tour that they offered us when we got here.”

Autumn gave me this all‐knowing look as if she were reading my soul. “Aww, so you like to have your dessert before dinner too, huh? Don’t worry, I’m right there with ya.”

I didn’t know which shocked me more, the fact that she was obviously accusing us of having sex since we saw them last, or the fact that she was just somewhat nice to me. “Huh? Yeah, so where’s a good place to eat dinner?”

“Well the best place to eat is up around the corner. Just turn right at the next path and head up about a hundred feet and you’ll be there.”

Cailyn gave them both a quick hug, which Autumn seemed to make linger just a little too long, and off we went to get something to eat. We didn’t even bother asking what type of food it was so I was hoping it was as good as they said.

Chapter Seventeen

Cailyn

When I saw the restaurant, I was speechless. No matter where we went, this resort was perfect. The hostess led us out to a table on a private patio overlooking the ocean. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and Luke asked for a bourbon on the rocks.

“Isn’t this just gorgeous? The sun setting, the waves catching the last rays shimmering on their tops, and the moon is supposed to be full tonight.”

“Cailyn, with you in front of me, everything is beautiful. How about we take a moonlit stroll on the beach after dinner? I saw that they have turtles nesting around here so maybe we can see some.”

“Really? Oh my God that would be awesome!”
