Sahale swept his hands along her back, over her shoulders and her neck. Moving back down her body, his lips brushed across vital spots, behind her knees and across her butt, at the indentation of her lower back, and up to her neck. Her whole body tingled with pleasure.
She groaned as he rolled her to face him. Again he took his time and started at her feet. He kissed her inner thighs, and tantalized her by barely brushing his fingers across her pussy lips. Even that brief touch had her making a keening sound and raising her hips to meet his hands.
“Go in me, please.”
“Not so fast. I’m not finished.” He put more lotion in his hands and rubbed across her abdomen, around her breasts, and along her shoulders. She raised her upper body, her breasts pointed toward him. She’d never wanted anything so much as to feel his hands right there.
His brilliant eyes teased her. “Did I miss a spot?”
“Yes, please touch me.”
“Where? You’ll have to show me.”
She cupped her breasts in her hands.
“Just your breasts? Not your rosy nipples?”
Licking her dry lips, she ran her thumbs across her pebbled nipples and shivered.
“Ah, I get the idea.”
His hands pushed hers away. He cupped her breasts and rubbed her nipples. She screamed in ecstasy. Sahale slid down and licked her nub. Heat sizzled inside her. Her nerves were supersensitive to his every touch. He pulled her legs wide and raked his teeth across her clit. Ellen bucked as the first wave of her orgasm hit her. His tongue darted into her opening, jolting her more, while his fingers still brushed across her nipples.
When he slid his hot, hard dick into her, a flash of heat fired across her nerves. She met his every stroke, pulling him in deeper. His teeth nipped her nipple as he plunged in and held tight against her womb. Her insides burst into a cloud of warmth and sizzled. She shook and held onto him as the only solid in her world.
Tiny tremors continued to milk his cock and had her still clenching and unclenching her muscles around him. He gathered her close and kissed her mouth.
“Someday, I’m going to make love to you without the condom, and we’ll create a precious child.”
She started to pull back, but he didn’t let her go. “You’ll see. It will happen.”
“And if it doesn’t?”
“Then Jack and I will still love you just as much. Our love doesn’t have conditions. You can be your own person. The only time we’d interfere is if you place yourself in danger.”
Ellen raised her head to look into his eyes. “You love me unconditionally?”
“Yes.”
“And you think Jack does, too?”
“Yes.”
“Marriage changes people.”
“True, but if it’s right, then they change for the good. Look at your friends.”
Sahale got up and walked toward his private bath. “I’m going to check on my animals. Sleep. If Jack returns soon, you won’t get much rest.” He grinned. “Our worst fault is we’re insatiable where you’re concerned. But you can always say no.”
“I’m not crazy.”
His laugher filled the room. “I love you.” He winked. Shortly afterwards she heard the shower. Snuggling under the covers, she tried to go to sleep. Too many thoughts intruded. She could hardly believe all that had happened in Washington. She was free. Free to decide whether to stay here in Wyoming or return to her regular life outside this community.

The phone woke her. She must have dozed. Sahale was gone.
“Hello.”
“Ellen, I’m so glad you’re back. Sara is coming over. Won’t you join us?” Morgan asked.
“I’d like to. I want to talk with you two. I have some questions.”
“Great.” Morgan gave her the directions to her cabin.
“How are you feeling?”
“Like I’m about to pop out a watermelon.” Morgan laughed. “I’m excited. We could become parents any day.”
“I’m happy for you. See you soon.”
Ellen put the phone down and hurried to dress. Morgan’s cabin was in walking distance. She’d leave a note for Sahale.
The late afternoon had a familiar touch of coolness. Overhead, white clouds, blown by the wind, rapidly crossed the blue sky. Ellen enjoyed the walk. She hadn’t realized Morgan lived so close.
Morgan greeted her and gave her a hug, as much as she could around her large, round belly. “Never thought to see me so fat, did you?”
“Not fat, beautiful. More beautiful than usual,” Ellen said. Glancing around Morgan, she saw Sara sitting by the fireplace.
“Join Sara, and I’ll bring the tea and cookies.”
“Let me help,” Ellen insisted and followed her to the kitchen.
“You’re as bad as Ethan and Justin. They don’t want me to lift a hand. I can carry a tray with a few cups and saucers.”
“No, you can’t.” Ellen took the tray when she’d finished putting everything on it.
Sara sat back, grinning. “I remember when I was pregnant with Caitlin. Mitch and Daren were impossible. Our men get especially protective during those times.”
Once they’d all sat down and were drinking their tea, Ellen spoke up. “It’s great for all three of us to be together again. You probably know I have to decide whether to stay here or go home.”
“But of course you’ll stay. It doesn’t matter whether you marry or not. I talked with Mitch. He’s fine with you being a part of the community either way. He said you were great in Washington.” She put her hand on Ellen’s. “But when I see you with Sahale or Jack you appear to be in love, so why wouldn’t you stay here and marry them? Surely they’ve asked you?”
Ellen took a swallow of tea and a bite of her chocolate chip cookie. She glanced between Morgan and Sara. “I’m barren. I can’t give them a child.” Stunned silence followed her stark statement.
“Are you sure?” Morgan asked. “Have you been tested?”
“I don’t need to be. I never got pregnant during my marriage, but my husband’s girlfriend was expecting his baby when he left me. They have three children.”
“It doesn’t mean anything,” Sara said. “I knew a teacher who’d been married five years. They’d tried everything and gave up and adopted a little girl. Eighteen months later they had twin boys. Now that was a shock, although a very happy one.”
“What do Jack and Sahale say? Did you tell them?” Morgan asked.
“They say they’ll still love me. That the three of us will be our family. But I can’t do that to them. They deserve to have children.”
All three sat, silent, and drank their tea. Outside, Ellen heard a lawn mower and a cow mooing. She had to smile at the sounds, but sadness had settled inside her heart.
“They’d never be as happy if you leave. Our men have an innate way of sensing their mate or woman. If they don’t join with that particular one, it’s never as strong a union. I’ve heard some prefer not to marry at all if they can’t have that special one.”
“Did Mitch and Daren teach you all about their community?” Ellen asked.
“Some, but the Priestess taught me the most. She is the one who marries us, and she is the keeper of all the ancient records. A fascinating woman with superior knowledge.”
“I’d love to meet her,” Ellen said.
“You will if you marry Sahale and Jack. She’ll officiate at the community’s ritual ceremony. Then a few days or weeks later, she’ll also perform the civil wedding to one of your husbands. He’d be the one presented to the outside world,” Sara explained.
“How do they decide which one is the husband you marry for that occasion?”
“Usually it’s the first one you met outside the community. Or the one people were introduced to as your fiancé. Since Sahale came to your home and brought you here, it would probably be him. Although Jack was introduced as your husband in Washington. But you were in disguise.” Sara leaned back in her chair and stared off in the distance. “I think you might be able to choose. I’m not sure I’d want to have to make that choice, though.”
“Me either,” Morgan said. “Let them decide.” She rubbed her tummy. “I hate to break up our get-together, but Sara, since you have your truck handy, would you mind driving me to the hospital?”
“You’re in labor?”
Morgan grinned. “I am. While you two were talking, I was timing my contractions. I think we’d better get on our way.”
Sara and Ellen jumped up and went to her side to help her.
“For goodness sakes, don’t be as bad as my men. I won’t break. I can walk to the truck without assistance.”
“But can you get in it?” A stern voice spoke from the front door. Justin walked up to Morgan. “Shame on you. You’re supposed to call us immediately.” He picked her up in his arms. “You two can follow my truck.” Taking long strides, he carried Morgan outside.
Sara laughed. “See what I mean about the protectiveness. Come on, let’s go to the hospital.”
Ellen had seen Justin’s face, the strong love, when he looked at his wife and her belly holding their child. If she married Jack and Sahale, would she ever be able to give them that joy? She blinked the tears away and stared out the truck window as they followed Justin and Morgan.
Everything happened fast after their arrival. Morgan was wheeled into a private suite. The rest of them sat in a waiting room right outside. Justin had called Ethan. Now he paced across the floor.
Shortly afterwards they heard a squeal of tires. Ethan rushed inside. “How is she?”
“I don’t know. They won’t let me in. But if they don’t hurry, I’m going in anyway.”
Ethan joined Justin in pacing. Sara looked at Ellen and they couldn’t keep in their laughter.
“Do you know whether you’re having a girl or boy?” Ellen asked.
Justin glanced at her. “We chose to wait. Morgan wanted the surprise. It doesn’t matter as long as they’re all right.”
“I thought you all being such strong men would only want boys,” Ellen persisted.
“Nope.” Ethan nodded at Sara. “Look at her Caitlin. She has all of us wrapped around her little finger.”
“That’s true. There’s not one of our warriors that can resist her. They spoil her rotten. She’s getting quite incorrigible, but in a loving way,” Sara added.
Ellen’s phone rang. “Jack, you’re back? I’m at the hospital. No, I’m not hurt. Morgan’s having her baby. See you then.” She looked up to find the others staring at her. “They’re all back safe. Jack and Mitch are headed this way. Daren’s going to check on Caitlin,” Ellen told Sara.
“Wonderful. I’m glad the trip was so successful. A lot of thanks go to you, Ellen. At least for a while, I’ll have both my guys home,” Sara said.
Jack grabbed Ellen when he walked in the door. “I missed you.”
“It’s only been part of a day. You got back early.”
“It’s been a long time to me.” He grinned, hugged her tight, and then kissed her.
Justin interrupted them. “You’re a doctor. Go in there and see what’s going on.”
“Dr. Mullins would have my head for butting in. She’ll be out in a moment,” Jack reassured him. “See, there she is now.” Everyone turned to face the doctor.
“My, my, these crowds keep getting bigger. Morgan is fine. The nurse will let you all in for a minute, but only Ethan and Justin can stay longer. The rest of you can go home and wait.” They nodded and went back to waiting and looking at the door hopefully.
