In an instant Blade penetrated her deep, leaving Makayla wide-eyed, a lot of it from sweet agony but the rest from a bottomless pleasure that had her gasping.

With barely a pause, he sank all the way in, up to the hilt.

“Oh, fuck!” Blade said in a shuddery groan, at the same time that Makayla let out a soundless scream.

She felt the weight of his balls rest against the lower edge of her cunt. Deep, deep inside her was the sensation of utter fullness, of her nerves and tissues vibrating and swelling around the most impossibly thick baton of flesh she’d ever had inside her.

“Is it good?” he asked.

His hoarse voice broke her out of her decadent daze. He was buried deep; so deep inside her she felt sure he was jabbing at her womb. He was totally still, letting her screeching muscles get accustomed to his throbbing girth. He gazed into her face, his passion tinged with worry as her lips stayed slack with no sound coming out.

“I need so much to move, angel,” said Blade softly, “But I also need to know that you’re okay. You’re so wet and silky inside but if it’s hurting too much…”

“No,” Makayla almost screeched as she felt him begin to withdraw.

Her legs hitched tighter around him, her heels pressing harder into his butt cheeks as if to keep him welded even deeper. “No. Way. If you stop now, I’ll…” She shook her head, moaned, and then writhed seductively beneath him. “If it hurts, I don’t care. It feels too damned good to stop now. Don’t hold back. Fuck me hard, Blade. I can feel you want to.”

It was like she unleashed a dragon.

She heard a deep, feral groan vibrate in his chest and the next thing, he was sliding most of the way out before slamming in again – jarringly hard.

Makayla yelped, but clung on tighter. “
Yes
,” she whispered, staring straight into his moss-brown eyes. “Don’t hold back. Don’t you dare.”

He groaned out her name, and Makayla felt sure his cock was now nudging almost at her kidney. The next second he pulled out again and then thrust, jolting Makayla back against the pillows. She bit on her lip, fighting back the urge to scream as he began to pick up a steady, almost hypnotic tempo.

Oh fuck, oh fuck, thought Makayla, her whole body shaking with every surge of his cock in her snug walls. He leaned over to kiss her lips, then her throat, before leaning lower and lapping at her nipple. Makayla’s eyes rolled to the back of her head and she had the sudden wonderment that surely Blade was intent on almost killing her with pleasure.

There were no words to speak; being taken so powerfully by a man like Blade would make any woman lose her power of speech. The only language she seemed capable of was manifested in moans, shrieks and squeals of pleasure.

He suckled hard on her lush tits while he rammed his hips in a piston-like cadence that built up to a steady, unbreaking crescendo. Makayla couldn’t fight it. She felt lost. He touched her deep within; took her senses to heights they’d never been. He strained against her as he pumped that hot, steel pipe of a cock in and out of her achingly responsive sheathe. If she got any wetter, they’d both be in a puddle.

Her hands, greedy and restless, roamed over every single bulge and dent of muscle. Touching him alone could make her orgasm speed up to the maximum within seconds. She held back as long as she could, wanting every moment to count. Beads of sweat broke out on their skin, making them slide slickly against each other.

It was an animalistic mating, unashamed and unbound – with no excuses.

He fucked her the way man must have fucked his woman at the beginning of time. He gave her his hard, pulsing passion and demanded her sweet softness to submit without question. Makayla pulled herself off the pillows, her teeth aiming for that thick, beautiful vein in Blade’s powerful throat. She needed a piece of him in her mouth as she coasted the waves carrying her unerringly to her climax.

Faster, and faster…deeper, and harder. Minutes could have passed – or hours. It felt like forever that he’d been embedded within her core, racking her insides until she had nothing left to give. Blade…how aptly he was named. He cut her up, split her in half, and ripped past her very last barrier.

Her nails raked down his powerful back, her teeth sinking deep into his neck when she suddenly came in a shocking, irresistible rush.

“Oh Christ,” she heard Blade groan as her whole body spasmed from inside out around him. She lost power over her very muscles as they rippled and shook. A white shaft of light blinded her for a moment and all she had to cling to was that massive cock raging like a battering ram through her pussy.

“Makayla,” Blade breathed, as her body went perfectly still.

He stopped thrusting and yet within her subconscious, she could still feel his organ throbbing thick and powerfully inside her. After a full minute she turned her head to him, and she heard his relieved sigh. She could almost sense him thinking ‘thank goodness, I thought I’d killed her’.

Her eyes blinked open as she gazed up at him, bringing him into focus with difficulty. She could see the strain on his face from holding back. He wasn’t even breathing hard; though the sheen of perspiration on his forehead showed how much effort he was taking not to obliterate her with that massive cock.

Now, she could sense the final trigger still ready to go off within her secret folds. Sliding her arms to link behind his neck, she spread her legs as wide as they could go, her knees raised high as she half-whispered to her lover, “It’s okay. Let go.”

In moments, Blade brought her to her second, even more powerful orgasm as he all but pummeled her to the depths with his cock moving in blurred, chopping strokes that snatched at her very soul. That was it. Done. Makayla closed her eyes in pleasure, just as he flooded her with cum, his growls of satisfaction ringing in her ears.

Chapter Seven

Makayla felt gouged out, torn up…hammered down. She moved her eyelids – the only part of her body she could move, and sought her lover from somewhere in the mist still surrounding her vision.

There he was. Lying right next to her, staring up at the ceiling with a dazed look on his face as now, his broad chest heaved with deep, belly- stretching breaths.

He must have felt her gaze, because he moved his head in her direction and pinned his eyes to hers. “We’re still alive,” he muttered half-humorously.

Suddenly, Makayla laughed. Found the strength to move her limbs and snuggle up to the solid wall of flesh beside her. “Yes, it was
that
good,” she said in way of reply. “I see I was right about you, Blade. You do pack a mean arsenal.

He rumbled in his chest, turning them over so that she was lying above him as he raked his eyes over her face. “And you can bet I haven’t run out of ammo…”

Blade was asleep when she woke up the next morning, slipping out of bed after planting a soft, proprietary kiss on his cheek. He was right where she wanted him to be.

Makayla still had a stupid grin on her face as she started to prepare breakfast. It was Saturday so she didn’t have to go to work. Hopefully, Blade would be happy to be awoken with some food. Makayla couldn’t cook to save her life, but she could brew stupendous coffee. And she could manage not to char the toast beyond consumption. That left eggs…well, maybe she could try poaching some; surely that didn’t need the brain of a space scientist to manage.

The phone rang close to her shoulder on the wall, and she turned to it in surprise. Who would be calling this early? Her mind went straight to her roommate Gina and Makayla quickly rubbed her hands down on her apron. She hoped everything was okay over there in the Bahamas. But then, deciding it could be any one of her friends or family, Makayla quickly answered the phone. “Makayla Stiles here.”

The person on the other end seemed to draw in a breath and pause. And then Makayla heard an unfamiliar female voice, clipped and somewhat deep. “I’d like to speak to Blade Weber, please?”

Makayla was curious, wondering who the woman could be even as she replied, “I could get him for you. I mean, he’s asleep but – “

Makayla cut off, suddenly realizing how that might sound. Quickly moving over it, she added, “Look uh, just tell me your name and I’ll see if I can…”

“Don’t bother,” the woman with the surprisingly deep and sensual voice said. “Just tell him his
son
Jamie is in the hospital and he needs to call me back as soon as possible. I’m Jamie’s mother.”

Wha
…? Even before Makayla could finish that thought the line went dead.

Chapter Eight

Makayla jumped when she heard Blade’s voice behind her. She hadn’t heard his footsteps until he was right there, mere feet away.

“I heard the phone ring. Was it for me?”

Swallowing hard, Makayla replaced the receiver before turning to face him. He was in the doorway, leaning against the frame. He’d pulled on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and even with his short blonde hair sticking out in places, he still looked like the sexiest thing on two legs.

Yes, Blade Weber was sexy as sin – and he had big secrets.

Not that Makayla was the one to judge. But after the phone call, his enigmatic persona was beginning to ring alarm bells.

He walked toward her, looking puzzled about her expression as she tried to gather her wits.

“I can’t remember what woke me – must have been the smell of delicious coffee or the ringing of the phone,” he murmured, looking dubiously at the plate of toast she’d placed on the counter. His manner was so casual and easy, not at all as if he’d just spent the last night stamping imprints of his massive cock within her still throbbing inner folds.

“Um…Blade. About that call,” Makayla began, “It was from a woman who said she’s Jamie’s mother –“

She yelped at the sudden way he moved. In a second he was right in front of her, fast as a puma and almost just as menacing. Makayla gulped.

He grabbed her by the shoulders and stared hard into her face. “Tell me exactly what she said.”

Ow
, thought Makayla as his fingers dug into her flesh. Obviously Blade never knew his own strength. Flinching, she tried to remember what the deep-toned woman had said.

“She said to tell you…that your
son
Jamie is in the hospital and you need to call her back as soon as possible,” Makayla said, adding calmly, “Emphasis hers, not mine.”

He swore harshly, making her wince as he suddenly let go and reached quickly for the phone.

Chapter Nine

Blade dialed Jessica’s number by memory, barely aware of Makayla hovering close by. He strove for calm and tried not to think the worst.

Giving Jessica the number to the house had ensured she knew where to reach him at all times. If Jamie was really in hospital and anything had happened to him…

Not wanting to even think about that, he listened to Jessica’s words for a minute and then said calmly, “I’m coming right over. Just tell me where to find you.”

He scribbled down the address of the hospital. Hanging up the phone, he turned to see Makayla with a worried expression on her face as she hugged her arms about her.

“Is everything OK?” she asked quietly.

There was no judgment, no blame on her face but he knew she must be wondering what the hell was going on.

“Makayla, I’ll explain everything when I get back. But I have to leave now. You’ll be fine, right?”

“Yes…of course.”

He didn’t want to go like this, especially not after last night.

Last night…

Blade blinked for a moment and cupped her face before planting a quick kiss on her lips. “We’ll talk later, I promise.” With that, he left her standing in the middle of the kitchen as he grabbed his jacket and made his way out the front door.

Chapter Ten

Two days later, Makayla still hadn’t made up her mind what she was going to do about the present situation. She kept going over and over in her mind where she had gone terribly off track.

The devastation from the phone call was still very raw. It was like winning the lottery and then dying from a heart attack just moments after getting hold of the cash.

Well, maybe she was over-dramatizing things but it still felt like she’d tasted heaven with Blade and now it all felt like ashes. Had anything they’d shared been real?

She’d always been very careful and focused. Especially in her relationships. What had made her break all the rules for Blade? What had made her think she knew enough about him to trust him not only with her friendship, but her body after only one day?

And now with the recent bombshell she’d experienced, she found herself in a dilemma.

Distracted all through the day at work, unable to really function, she found herself worried that she may have moved far too quickly where Blade was concerned.

She realized it the moment he’d walked out the door the morning after their steamy night together, promising he’d be back and he’d explain everything.

Once he was gone, Makayla seemed galvanized into action.

The next thing she knew, she was moving on automatic pilot, packing a few clothes and things she’d need for a weekend away. At the last minute, she scrawled a brief note on a post-it which she left on the door of the fridge. “I’ll be away for a few days on a sudden business trip. Please don’t worry about me as I’ll be fine. You take care. Makayla,’ the note had said.
