Yeah I guess we probably should.” She replied with a smile as she stood and moved over to the bed. Pulling the covers back she looked over to where he was still sitting on the couch in the sitting area. “Are you coming to bed?”

“
I figured I’d sleep on the couch. Are you sure you want me to get into that bed with you? And you might want to think about your answer real good because I can’t promise you that I won’t come on to you. Now do you still want me to get in that bed with you?” Alex said being honest with her.

“
If I invite you to join me in bed you can be damn certain that I expect for you to come onto me, because if you didn’t I’d have to hurt you. Now are you coming to bed or not?” She demanded softly.

“
Honey if you want me in your bed then that’s exactly where I’ll be. However don’t say I didn’t warn you about my intentions.” He said smiling at her devilishly.

“
Well as long as your intentions are to make love to me then we shouldn’t have a problem now should we.” She replied with a devious smile of her own.

“
No ma’am we shouldn’t.” He said.

“
Then what are you waiting for come to bed.” Lex said as she climbed between the sheets and held the covers back for him.

Alex slipped into bed beside her and she wasted no time at all sliding closer to rest her head on his shoulder. He placed his arm around her and pulled her as close as he could get her any closer and they’d be occupying the same space.

He used his free hand to gently grasp her chin between his thumb and forefinger lifting her face towards his. Bending his head he covered her lips with his as he kissed her playfully swiping his tongue across the seam causing her to open for him.

He drove his tongue inside so that he could taste her warm mouth. The minute Alex began kissing her images from his past came flooding into his head. He saw what appeared to be a younger thinner version of Alexis he also saw a younger version of himself. He saw images of them surrounded by what seemed to be family and everyone seemed to be happy they were laughing, talking and dancing.

The image he couldn’t seem to shake was the picture of a skinny, shapeless girl that looked like Alexis with her hair in a couple of braids on either side of her head. What almost stopped his heart was the way she was looking up at him smiling happily as she lay beneath him.

His tore his mouth from her and gazed down at her when she smiled up at him his heart damn near exploded. She was his once a long time ago he couldn’t remember everything about their time together but he knew that she’d been someone important to him he could feel it.

Is something wrong? Alex you have this strange look on your face.” She asked confused by his expression.

“
What, uh no I’m fine. Sorry about that I was thinking about something that happened a while ago.” He replied not ready to tell her that he remembered her.

“
If you’d rather not do this we don’t have to I know you must be tired.” She said as she attempted to move away from him only to have him tighten his hold on her.

“
I’m not tired so don’t think for one minute that I’m not going to make love to you.” He replied as he reclaimed her lips this time more passionately.

Lex had thought about being his arms again too many times to count. All she’d dreamt about for years was his return and how he’d make love to her as if no time had passed. And now her dream was about to come true because she was finally in his arms again. She couldn’t think of any place she’d rather be than right here with him.

Alex shifted to lean over her before moving away slightly in order to remove her night shirt that she was wearing. He tossed it aside then quickly closed his mouth over one of her breasts while gently kneading the other.

He was happy to see that she wasn’t wearing any panties. Alex used his knee to spread her legs apart as he rubbed his thigh against her clit the way he had when they were dancing earlier, causing her to gasp loudly. Alejandro, you know who I am?” She asked in a whisper so soft he barely heard her.

Yes, Lexis I know who you are and I also know something else do you want me to tell you what that is?” He said gazing at her.

Unable to speak she nodded her head yes.

I know that I love you now as much as I did the night I left you to go on that trip with my family.” He said with a smile.

“
I love you too Alejandro. Do you remember what happened the day of your accident?” She asked.

“
Some of it is still a bit hazy but I do recall more of that day. I know that it wasn’t really an accident someone had tried to kill my entire family including me. It had something to do with a case that my father was working on and since he’d been with FBI they let everyone think that I’d been killed that day along with the rest of my family.” He said sadly.

“
So that’s why any records from your past are sealed or gone and the reason your name was changed. All of this was to keep you alive now I understand.” She said.

“
Yeah I guess it was but I’m grateful that I have you back, you know I’m not letting you go again right.” He said in a serious tone.

“
You had better not because if you do the next time we see each other I might just shoot you.” She teased.

“
Well that’s one bullet you can save because like it or not you’re stuck with me.” He said kissing her on the lips.

Epilogue

Six months later…..

Kat had given birth to her and Kenji’s son six months ago and just recently Cam and Blake welcomed the arrival of their baby girl. Two of the other three couples were now expecting. Prescott and Akiva who’d gotten married four months ago and Thai and Mahuru who’d only been married for two and a half months.

Alex and Alexis had decided to wait awhile so that they could make up for some of the time they’d lost. However they were planning to have fun practicing.

Thankfully things were quiet at Five Nations International for now.

With the information that they’d received from the man in Augusta who was now in protective custody they were able to bring a close to the cases involving the crime organization they’d been investigating.

They’d also been able to bring down the corrupt government agents that were on the crime organizations payroll. Ultimately the people responsible for the attack at Ken and Kat’s wedding as well as the invasion at the cabin where Blake had been shot had all been either captured or killed.

It was discovered that it all got out of hand because of desperation. Since the organization was unable to seize control of Ken and Kat’s family company as well as the power of the light within the two of them. If they’d been successful the International connections their company had along with the power of the light within them the organization would have become the most powerful and feared crime organization in the world.

However they were able to put an end to the corruption of that organization as well as find love.

The men of Five Nations International found out that they were powerful enough to take down the toughest of criminals, but they were powerless when it came to love. They captured the bad guys but surrendered their hearts. For them it was a sacrifice well worth making because love is its own reward, as the woman they love captured their hearts.
