“You used our middle names—nice one,” Ethan said, admiring his leather bound present. Callen’s dreams had come true, but he’d still opted to be a part of their team.

At first, they were surprised. They tried to convince him to follow his dream. Only, Callen told them he was. Later, he could write in his downtime.

He could have it all.

“Read the inscription,” Callen said, grinning at the two people he loved and respected.

Ethan flipped open the cover and moved through the pages. Even Elizabeth was excited. Until that moment, Callen wouldn’t let her see anything.

He was making her wait too. She’d read the book, and it was awesome. She loved it and gushed over it for days.

She was proud.

Then, Ethan found what Callen wanted him to see.

‘To my husband and wife—the best friends anyone could have.’

They both smiled. Elizabeth linked her arms through both of theirs, joining them together.

“I’m proud of us.”

Yeah, they were too.

“We have so many stories left to tell,” Elizabeth said, smiling up at the loves of her life.

And they absolutely did.

This was only the beginning.

Today was a new day.

A new beginning.

A new chapter.

And they were doing it up Blackhawk style from here on out.

After all…it had gotten them this far. Why mess with a good thing?
