Purring, I continue.
“Whatever she does, I want to know about. Nod if you understand.”
He nods, eyes shut. Turning his face to mine, I kiss him deep, making his
breathing erratic. “Wherever she goes, you will follow.” He nods,
hands grasping at my dark blue baby doll, pushing me back into the sheets.
Growling, “I own you.” He
nods, as he climbs on top of me, burying himself deep inside.
Oh, how I own you, baby boy.

I have to start out by thanking
my wonderful and extremely patient boyfriend, Les, who has never wavered in his
support and love. Always pushing me to find what my passion is, Les
enabled me to search inside myself and create something that I can honestly be
proud of because he is proud of me.
To all of my parents, here and
beyond, you hold a special place in my heart and I wouldn’t be the person I am
today, without you. To my brother and his family, even though we aren’t
together often, you are a source of inspiration and love.
This has been a trying year for
my family, and through the love and support from my friends and family, we have
persevered through the long haul and come out alive on the other side.
There are too many to name, so I want to thank you from the depths of my
soul. You don’t know how much support means to me.
And, last but without doubt not
least, to my co-author, Ann. Without you, none of this would have come to
fruition. I have loved every second of our creativity, our bantering, and
our friendship. Thank you to your family for putting up with the long
hours and time away.

First and foremost I want to
apologize to my husband, Westley, and kids for the numerous hours that I’m
stuck at my computer or away with Stephanie thinking of ways to test the
limitations of our characters. It’s because of your support and love that
I’m able to convey such strong emotions in the characters that we’ve
made. It’s your love that keeps me driven and will continue to push me towards
reaching for the unattainable. I love you guys; you are my reasons for
breathing.
To my brother, you are a pain in
the you-know-what, but I love you more than words can express. To my
parents, Daddy I hope you are always looking out for me and I will continue to
love you until we meet again. Mom, although we are oceans apart know that
you are in my thoughts and in my heart.
Stephanie…ditto.
