"Something like that," Andrea said.

She turned to David. "I'm going to the restroom, and I'll meet you at the bar."

Dirk pulled David over to talk privately. "Son, Tom the bartender at Club Secrets told me about the trouble last night with Danny Sullivan. I spoke to your father before, and he told me Danny tried to break into Andrea's house this morning. Do we have a problem here?"

David took a deep breath. This whole thing with his parents, Andrea, and the clubs was getting incestuous. Everybody was into everyone else's business and seemed to know all the intimate details.

"No problem here, I don't think. But it's why we traveled down to Miami tonight. Maybe the whole thing will blow over. The cop advised Andrea's to file an order of protection to keep Danny at bay."

"Listen, son. I've been a biker my whole life. I know Danny's type of guy all too well. He won't let go, and some little piece paper isn't going to stop him. Be careful."

He put his arm around David, and they walked toward the bar.

David nodded "Thanks. I'll be careful, and I'm watching out for Andrea. I'm staying with her until I leave for med school next week. I'm hoping this will blow over by then."

Dirk's face registered doubt, but he said, "Let me know if there's anything I can do to help."

"Hey, you guys. Why so somber? I thought we were here to have fun." Andrea pulled on David's arm. "Come on. Dance with me!"

"You're right. Let's go," said David. "Thanks, Dirk. Catch up with you later."

After a few songs, David led Andrea off the dance floor. It was crowded and hot, and he wanted a drink.

"Come on, lets cool off a bit with some drinks, and then how about showing me the infamous back rooms?"

"Oh, yes! Let's drink up!"

David motioned to the bartender. "Two Grey Goose Martinis, one with olive, one with a twist."

They were finishing up their second round. David watched the patrons around them at the bar. There wasn't much pick up action, from the way it looked to him. Most everyone seemed to be with someone, and if anything, couples were talking to other couples..

"Andrea, what gives around here? I'm not seeing anyone alone. Is this a couples-only club?"

She shook her head. "No, but Saturday night is mainly for couples. You'll see some single guys hanging around in the back, at that bar, and outside the rooms. They're around mostly for threesomes."

David nodded. It was time to see what goes on back there.

"I'm ready to see that back room. How about you?"

Andrea smiled and slid off her stool. She snuggled up to David between his legs and put her arms around his neck. "I am so ready. I'm thinking that tonight is one I'll remember for a long time."

David was hard as a rock. He stood up and pushed his bulge into Andrea. "I know I will, maybe forever."

He put his arm around her, and they headed toward the back room. "I don't want to look like a green beginner here, so I'll follow your lead for a while."

Andrea smiled her vixen grin. "You got it, baby."

David felt a hand on his shoulder, and he whirled around defensively.

He relaxed when he saw Dirk, but only briefly. He saw concern on the man's face.

"What up, Dirk?"

Dirk pulled him aside. "One of my security guards at the door just came over to tell me that a big group of bikers pulled in and are hassling the help at the entrance because we limit single guys on Saturday. I took a quick peek, and it's Danny with his friends. Do you think he knew Andrea was here?"

"I don't know how. What are you going to do?"

"I'm going out to talk to him. Hoping to persuade him that another time would be better and without his crew."

"Do you think we should call the police?"

"Son, I never want to bring the police in here. It's asking for trouble. Even though we are strictly above board and perfectly legal, there are lots of people here who don't want their patronage known publicly, if you know what I mean."

David nodded. Andrea tugged on his arm.

"Can't you guys talk later? David, let's go."

"Sure." He looked over at Dirk, not wanting to start anything in the back with Andrea until he knew it was all clear out front.

"Let's go to the restrooms first."

"Andrea, did anyone know you'd be here tonight?" Dirk asked.

"Um, yeah. I messaged my friend Dana that we'd be here."

"Private message on Facebook?" Dirk asked.

"No, in the chat room on Club Secrets, why?"

A dark look came over Andrea. "Oh my God. Danny's here, isn't he?"

"He is, but we're going to take care of it, don't worry. Just go to the woman's room for a couple of minutes. I'm going outside and make sure he leaves."

David and Andrea hung out at the bar, waiting for Dirk to come back in, so they could relax and enjoy the rest of their evening. Ten minutes passed and nothing. David sipped on ginger ale. He wanted his wits about him if necessary.

Finally they saw Dirk come in, and he made a beeline straight to them.

"I didn't get the cooperation I'd hoped for. I'm making an announcement and sending everyone to the back. It'll be a surprise. I'm telling the guests that tonight everyone is welcome in the back, no membership required. The staff already has instructions to bring everything to the back room area. I don't want any witnesses to what's about to happen outside."

Andrea looked fearful. "Come on, David. Let's get back there now."

David looked at Dirk, then put his arm around Andrea. "Listen, I feel responsible for what's happening here, and I'm not going to hide in any back room. But, I want you to go back there and be safe. I only ask that you don't start anything before I get back there to join you!"

Andrea laughed, which is exactly what David wanted. "All right. But, be careful, David."

The music stopped, and the deejay made the announcement. The bartenders and the rest of the staff started to herd all the guests toward the back rooms. In less than five minutes, the only ones who remained in the front were Dirk, David, and the bouncers who weren't already outside blocking the entrance.

"Listen, everyone," Dirk addressed the security group. "I'm not interested in breaking up my place, so let's keep this in the entrance and parking lot, if possible. No one here makes the first move. I'm going to try again to get them to leave, but if they resist, you know what to do."

Dirk came over to David. "Are you sure you know what you're getting into? This isn't some fraternity brawl or college bar skirmish. This is big league."

David drew himself up. "I can hold my own. I usually avoid fights, but I have the training to know what to do when I'm in one."

"David, this isn't some textbook training session."

"Hey, man. I said I'm good. No worries."

Dirk nodded. "All right. Good man. But tell you what. Stay in here by the door until you hear or see something going on outside. If Danny sees you, it may put him over the edge."

Two of the bouncers stayed with David behind the door, which was left ajar. The rest of the team went out with Dirk to join the four guys who were blocking the entrance.

The front room of Club Miami was eerily silent, and David stood with his ear almost pressed to the small opening in the door .

"All right, Danny. I've asked you leave, and you can see you and your guys aren't getting in tonight. So, why not call it an evening here and go have some fun at another bar?"

"Listen, old man, I know Andrea and that college kid are inside, and I'm not leaving 'til I talk to her."

"You can call her if you want to talk, Danny. Move along now."

David put his eye to the door opening. He saw Danny get off his bike and get in Dirk's face. As the bouncers moved in around Dirk, the bikers started to dismount. Dirk motioned for his bouncers to stay back.

"Danny, this is your last chance. Leave now."

Danny moved in within centimeters of Dirk's face. "Fuck you, man."

And with that, his buddies jumped off their bikes. David pushed open the door and he and the two bouncers were outside just as the commotion began.

David assessed the scene. The sides were evenly matched as far as number and size. He turned his attention to Dirk and Danny. Dirk was holding his own with the younger man, but got distracted as one of his guys fell near him.

One second of lost focus was all that was necessary. Danny caught Dirk off guard with a punch to the chin that knocked him down. He was about to jump on Dirk when David called out.

"Hey, asshole. Over here. I'm the one you want."

Danny charged. David waited to the last second and stepped aside.

"Really, is that the best you've got? I fooled you with that this morning," David said.

Danny landed against two other guys, but recovered quickly. Rage filled his face. David could see the veins popping in his neck and temples.

David knew he had to end this once and for all, or there'd be no end to the threats. "Come on, Danny boy," he motioned mockingly. "Show me what you got, bad boy."

Danny wasn't a complete fool or an inexperienced fighter. But apparently he was accustomed to being the bigger, badder dude and having the right back up. He looked around and saw some of his guys on the ground, but some were rallying behind him.

David assessed and braced himself. He was amazed at how the movements learned in karate classes years before were still reflex actions.

In a split second, he was blocking blows, kicking attackers, and a moment later, it was him and Danny. David saw nothing else. No bouncers, no bikers, just Danny.

"This ends here, Danny."

This time when Danny charged him, David spared nothing. He wasn't aware of what he did or how, but his arms and legs moved in several rapid successions. He heard bones crack, and Danny was on the ground. Blood spilled from his nose and mouth, but he was breathing.

David quickly assumed his defensive position again and looked around for others. The bikers who were still standing started to back off, but the bouncers blocked their way to the motorcycles.

In the back of his head, David heard a line from a movie he had watched with his father many times,
A Bronx Tale.
There's a scene where the owner of a bar asks a rowdy group of bikers to leave. When they won't, he locks the front door from inside and says, "Now yas can't leave," and all his henchmen come out from the back with bats and take down the rowdies and destroy their bikes.

David ran over to Dirk and helped him up. "Are you OK?"

Dirk rubbed his chin and nodded. "Yeah, I'll be sore around the jaw for a few days, but I didn't lose any teeth."

He grinned. "College boy, you did all right."

Dirk motioned to his guys to allow the bikers to leave, those who were able, anyway. He pulled out his cell phone and made a call.

"Yeah, Benny. I got a scene over here at the Club Miami parking lot that needs clean up. Send your guys over right away. You're gonna need something to haul some broken up bikes. OK?"

Dirk nodded. He made another call.

"Andy, a clean up crew will here in about five minutes. Keep telling anyone who tries to get in the lot that we're full until the crew comes. Once they've finished here, you can start letting customers back in. Got it? Good."

Dirk clicked off and put the phone in his back pocket. He put his arm around David. "Son, you had my back, and I owe you."

David shook his head. "No, you stuck your head out for me. I just did my part."

David chuckled and put on his best New York accent. "I'll tell you one thing. You won't see Danny 'round here no more."

They went back into the club laughing.

* * *

David walked with Dirk to the back, but was totally unprepared for the scene he found inside. Music was blaring, and no one wore clothes. Some people were dancing, some were at the bar, and some were hanging out on couches. Sex was going on everywhere in some form, whether full-out fucking or teasing and touching.

David froze. Where the hell was Andrea?

Dirk must have sensed that David was overwhelmed. He pointed to the bar at the far side of the room. Andrea was with another woman, but once she saw them, she hurried over.

She gave David a big hug. "Oh my God. You're safe."

David had to smile. He still had his pants on, but feeling Andrea against him created a massive hard on. "Hey, glad to see you too. But looks like I need to do some catching up. Where do I go to take my clothes off?"

Andrea looked over to Dirk. "Did you get Danny to leave?"

Dirk laughed. "You could say that. And you can thank your stud over here for making sure of it."

"What?" Andrea looked concerned. She took David's hands in hers. He winced.

Andrea examined his bruised hands and arms. "You're hurt!"

"It's nothing. Just a few scratches."

David grinned. "You should have seen the other guys."

Dirk nodded, rubbing his chin. "Tell you what. Andrea, give us a few minutes. I'll take David to the men's locker room. I bet he wants to shower. I know I do. I'll send him back to you in no time."

Andrea squeezed David around the waist. "Don't take too long. I want to hear all about what went on outside, and then I want to show you a special thank you for being my knight in shining armor—or without armor, as the case may be."

"Ha, you got it, especially the part where you show me a special thank you."

David gave Andrea a deep kiss. He pulled away. "Be back in minutes. Promise. And save all of that for me," he said as he looked around at the fornicating couples.

"You got it, baby."

Dirk took David to the men's locker room, showed him where to put his clothes, and pointed out the showers.

"David, is there anything you want to know about what you just saw?"
