defining and revetting the edge of a cairn or barrow.
Kerma kingdom

An independent Nubian kingdom or city-state of the early 2nd millennium

, based at the site of Kerma near the third cataract of the River Nile in modern Sudan. One of the states of
KUSH
, the Kerma kingdom reached its height around 1700 bc following a contraction of the Egyptian civilization during the 13th Dynasty. Heavily involved in long-distance trade, the Kerma kingdom accumulated considerable wealth. Kerma rulers were buried under huge barrows up to 80m across. The Kerma kingdom ended with the Egyptian reconquest of Nubia during the 18th Dynasty.

A ceramic jar with an integral series of small cups in its lip. Found in the eastern Mediterranean and dating mainly to the Bronze Age, the function of such vessels is uncertain.

A large wooden beaker with either straight or concave flaring sides. They are usually decorated with incised geometric patterns during
INCA
times, but later have scenes painted in lacquer. Similar vessels are known in pottery from earlier (
TIAHUANACO
) times.
Khan

Turkish title for a prince or ruler.
Khent-amenty

Egyptian god, ancient jackal-headed god of Abydos, late identified with Osiris.
Khephri

Egyptian god, the scarab-beetle god, associated with Ra as the young sun god.
