For a moment she wondered if it was just a new photographer trying to get a middle-of-the-night shot of her or perhaps—no. She shook her head. She would ignore it. If it was important, whoever it was would know better than to wake her in the middle of the night.

Again the buzzer cut through the warm air, ringing in her ears.

Gia got off the bed and grabbed her white silk nightgown off the wooden clotheshorse in the corner of her bedroom. She walked through the narrow maple-floored hallway until she reached the alarm system attached to the side of the hallway wall. Pressing a button, the small black screen came to life.

She gasped, watching the single outside porch light perfectly illuminate the faces of the brothers. There they stood, in grainy sepia tone, two handsome heads of the same coin. Their brows were equally creased while they looked straight at her door. The one with the mole, Liam, leaned forward and pressed the buzzer again. She swallowed and her eyes widened as she battled to control the rush of emotions flooding through her.

What were they doing at her house? She tried to remember if she had parked the car in her garage or if it still stood in the driveway. She quickly pressed another button, changing the camera view to one from the side of the house. Her stoned driveway was empty. They wouldn’t know if she was home or not. Gia slowly turned her back against the wall, bent her knees, and sunk down to the floor. With her hands over her face, she silently prayed they would leave.

After five excruciatingly long minutes later, she could hear the sound of car doors opening then closing and the run of a powerful engine. They were gone.

Chapter 9

Aidan paced across the outside of Gia’s trailer.

The four-hour wait for her shoot to be over was nothing less than excruciating. He’d cancelled two budget meetings, just so that he could make it in time. In time to, firstly, see for himself that she was all right. And secondly, to try to woo her back into their arms. It was almost lunchtime and his empty stomach was already growling.

“Mr. Wright?” A soft British voice came from behind him.

Aidan turned on his heel.

A stocky girl, dressed in a black M.A.C. apron, dark jeans, and a white tank top, peered up at him through golf green eyes.

“Yes?” He replied a little too sharply to his surprise. Liam normally had less patience between them, and he chided himself for his own sudden lack of it. “I’m sorry. Yes I am. And you are?”

The girl’s cheeks flushed as she looked up at him. “Oh, we’ve met before. But not to worry I’m sure you’re super busy. Can’t expect you to remember all the crew. I’m Sam. The makeup artist on set. You waiting for Gia then?”

Aidan’s eyes widened in realization. “Oh, you must think I’m Liam. I’m Aidan, his brother. Pleasure to meet you, Sam.” He extended his hand. “Is Gia done on set as yet?”

Sam grinned before quickly shaking his hand. “Forgive me, you do look very much alike. I’m afraid Gia’s gone off to lunch. She left as soon as the scene wrapped.”

Aidan blanched. She could only have gone to lunch with Liam. He’d told him that he’d be the one to come and talk to her, take her for lunch. What the fuck was he doing? He took a second to compose himself, not wanting the makeup artist to see any hint of his emotions. “Do you know where she’s gone for lunch? I need to speak with her urgently,” he said cautiously.

Sam smiled though, he noted, it didn’t quite reach her widened eyes. “Yes of course. She’s in the private dining room with Cole Aimes. It’s behind lot seven. If you go—”

“I know where it is,” Aidan snapped, and before Sam could say a word, he abruptly turned and headed in that direction.

His stomach was twisted as he walked, and he had to physically restrain himself from running the short distance to the private dining rooms behind the lot. Liam was one thing, but this Cole Aimes? Why would the actor feel the need to take her to a private dining room? Of course the stars of the movies had the privilege if they requested it, but from what he’d read about Gia, she preferred eating with the crew. He reached the glass doors of the entrance to the building and walked through.

The block was once a large private dining area of a renowned director. It had later been converted into three distinctly private eating rooms and a meeting area. All the rooms were marked by double oak doors on one side of a narrow hallway, and a floor-to-ceiling sheet of glass, with a view of the studio, on the other. He passed the first two, and with the doors opened, he could see they weren’t in them. The knowledge only served to send blood pumping madly to his temple. What was he thinking? They were costars, they had every right to have lunch wherever they pleased. So why did it bother him so much?

Aidan stopped at the last set of closed doors and braced himself, taking several deep breaths. He knew they were in there, he could feel it. He looked to his right and stared at the empty lot outside of the glass while he composed himself. Now that he was there, he couldn’t find a good enough reason for barging in. As it turned out, he didn’t have to, as the door opened, and he took a step back, staring at it.

“Oh, Mr. Wright. Great to see you again,” Cole flashed a Zoom-bright smile and grabbed his hand. “Did you need the room? We’re done eating, but there’s still plenty. They sure feed us well on set. Oh and thanks again for giving me this role, really appreciate it.”

Aidan silently shook Cole’s hand quickly before releasing it. He stared at the actor’s Superman-blue eyes and dirty-blond hair, wondering whether Cole was someone Gia would be attracted to. The demographic studies for the casting had shown that half of America’s female population would likely be, but the only statistic that mattered was Gia.

He searched the younger man’s chiseled face for signs of latent intimacy. Finding none, finally, he blinked and relaxed. “You’re welcome, Cole, I’ve heard you’re doing a stellar job,” he answered in full business mode. He didn’t bother to correct Cole’s assumption that he was Liam, as he had more pressing matters at hand. Like what he was going to say to Gia. All plans that he had run through earlier were lost the moment he had heard she was in a private room with Cole.

“Thank you, sir,” Cole replied. “Well, I’d best be off.” With that he was gone, leaving Aidan standing in front of the closed side of the double doors.

Even without seeing her, or knowing that she was in there, he could feel her. Even from behind the barrier of wood, her essence was like a hot oven of baked sizzle. He took a step forward, and for the first time in his life, he was entering what was normally a venue for lunch meetings, without knowing what to expect. And he hated to admit, that the thought terrified him.

The sound of glass breaking, and a high-pitched shriek stopped him mid-stride.

Gia was standing, and holding her wrist while wincing at her bloodied fingers.

Dashing forward, Aidan grabbed her hand, ignored her gasp, and snatched a napkin from the round table. “Gia! You’re bleeding, where did you cut yourself?” He searched madly for the offending gash.

When she didn’t answer, he turned, and looked at her. And oh God, how he wished he didn’t have to look away.

Gia’s emerald eyes were watery below the smoky makeup on her lids. Her glossy bottom lip was clenched between her teeth, and she was as stiff as his cock was going to be just looking at her.

Forgetting her wound for just a second, he stared down at her and couldn’t help thinking how utterly adorable she was. Not in a childlike way, but in the sexiest way possible. He imagined his own teeth biting softly on her full lips.

She winced, pulling him back to the moment. “Aidan, what are you doing here?” she whispered.

Hearing his name from her lips relaxed every tensed muscle in his body and he had to smile. It normally took most people months, or never, to tell the difference between them. But she wasn’t most people as he was learning quickly.

He pulled her hand closer to him. “Let me see.” He gently turned her fingers, and to his relief, found only a small cut across the tip of the index. Holding her wrist, he held the napkin around the gash and wiped the streak of blood on her other fingers with the bottom. He looked back to her. “What happened?”

Gia nodded towards a cracked tumbler lying on the white tablecloth. “It’s my own clumsiness, I knocked the glass over. I’m sure I’ll live.” She smiled softly.

“I hope so,” he said and lost his breath in the depths of her sexy hooded eyes. In them he saw everything that he and Liam had been so desperate to find. He wasn’t sure if love at first sight existed, but this was sure as hell close to it. Whether it was first, second, or third, it didn’t matter. Fuck, he knew that he would feel this way whenever he looked at her. “God you’re beautiful,” he sighed. In staring at her, he lost all sense of reality, and was only slightly aware that he’d dropped the napkin. He was about to pick it up, but she interrupted him.

“Thanks, but you still haven’t told me what you’re doing here,” she replied with a soft crimson blush.

With his other hand still around her wrist, Aidan looked at her finger. All traces of blood were gone, leaving a small, slightly wet scar in its place. Without thinking, he slowly lowered his mouth onto her finger and sucked softly at the tip.

“Aidan,” she whispered, her voice husky, and she lowered her hand, pulling her finger out of his mouth.

The way she said his name sent a shiver up his spine that he could just barely control. He raised his hand to her face, and gently stroked her cheek. “Oh baby,” he managed to say, though his throat was tight and he swallowed. Another first raged in his stomach, actual butterflies, something he was sure he’d never felt before. And with it, a more salacious hardening of his dick. His cock throbbed impatiently against his suit pants, begging for release.

Gia’s breath came faster and in her black tank top, her breasts heaved below his eye level, fighting for his gaze. “Aidan, I need—” she began to say, but he couldn’t wait, and crashed his mouth onto hers.

His tongue found hers quickly and he kissed her with frantic longing that he could barely control. His hands moved around her and he pulled her into his chest. He pressed his hard cock against the top of her jutted hip.

He gasped into her mouth as she arched her hips forward, grinding against his cock. “Oh, baby, you don’t know what you do to me,” he whispered into her mouth, then sucked her tongue. He pulled back and fulfilled his minor wish by biting softly on her lower lip, pulling back before finding her tongue again.

Gia snaked her arms around his neck and pulled him down, closer to her, deepening the kiss. She pressed her chest forward, mashing her breasts against him.

He wanted to talk to her, have lunch, discuss a future, but fuck, he could barely think. All he wanted was to make love to her again. To fuck her drenched pussy. He moved his hands down, and under her denim skirt, rubbing the top of her thighs in long, languid motions.

Gia was panting on his mouth and sucking his tongue. She slowly moved her legs, parting them while arching her back.

He moved his hands up, his fingers joyfully finding her pussy as he did the night before. Panty-less and wet as torrid rain. “Oh fuck, Gia. You’re so fucking beautiful,” he moaned then lowered himself to his knees, his eyes remaining on her glazed ones. He shoved her skirt up to her waist and could have cried when he looked at her cunt.

The silky, hairless folds were swollen and drenched. He moved both hands on each side of her pussy lips and pushed it wide open with his thumbs. Slowly, he licked from the bottom to her clit then down again. He moved his tongue back to her hard clit and flicked it, while pushing two fingers into her smoldering cunt.

She groaned and pushed her hips forward then pushed her hands into his hair, pulling his face against her pussy.

His mouth wet with her juice, he licked his lips, still moving his fingers faster.

“Oh Aidan. Fuck, what are you doing to me?” she asked breathlessly, her voice thick with lust.

He pulled his mouth away and looked up at her. “Do you want me to stop?” he asked, but added another finger and rammed her pussy faster as she bucked above him.
