Then Mi’Ka began, though the others were not aware that she did anything, the internal sounds disappeared and time appeared to lose meaning. Their internal systems appeared to slow; bodily awareness faded from perception.
A feeling of aloneness crept over them. As the feeling came over Tn’Ya, she instinctively sought out P’Ko and gathered comfort from him. P’Ko wasn’t supposed to be an active participant. Mi’Ka had cautioned both P’Ko and Tn’Ya to stay center focused. This told Mi’Ka the extent that Tn’Ya needed P’Ko, even when P’Ko and Tn’Ya had no psychic connection Tn’Ya created P’Ko within herself, and Mi’Ka assessed that Tn’Ya did an excellent job. Tn’Ya has a unyielding and unique psychic ability when it comes to P’Ko, Tn’Ya had, acting on Tn’Ya’s own, and only passively on P’Ko’s part permanently implanted P’Ko with herself.
This is rare among the young and usually only happens with mated couples that have birthed children. Tn’Ya isn’t trying to be P’Ko, but Tn’Ya’s so enamored, so devoted, so in love, that Tn’Ya’s more than willing to make changes to herself to fit P’Ko’s into herself as firmly and entirely as possible.
Tn’Ya is no threat to P’Ko or P’Ko’s extended self, including Su’Zi, Mi’Ka, or the resistance. Now Tn’Ya is part of them even though they hadn’t been aware of it. Mi’Ka noted to herself that Tn’s connection with P’Ko wouldn’t go unnoticed by the CA.
Today Tn’Ya’s safe, Ku’Ma’s been programmed to detect nano-bots, and would have alerted if Tn’Ya were infected. But it’s impossible to prevent the CA from infecting Tn’ with surveillance nano-bots without setting off alarms. And if the CASS is going to use her as a spy, they’ll want her in close contact with P’Ko yet still maintain as much control of her as possible making it easier to harvest the nano-bot data.
If they’re very careful, it could work to their advantage. Once Tn’Ya is infected, the CA will believe that Tn’Ya is a walking, talking recording and playback machine, they’ll authorize almost anything that Tn’Ya asks, believing that it’ll help get closer to P’Ko and through P’Ko learn about the activities of the resistance.
The resistance could use Tn’Ya as an unwitting double agent, and feed the CA false information. It would be risky, and they shouldn’t let P’Ko know, not yet. He’s not fully aware of the resistance and its activities. There’s still the chance that the CASS might not infect her, they’ll have to wait and see.
Tn’Ya’s job choice, though at first glance should be a stand-alone decision, independent of everything else. However, to make their interactions smoother in the future, her job choice should complement P’Ko’s and to be self-satisfied her bio-mods needed to be aesthetically pleasing to P’Ko.
Mi’Ka proceeded with the reading, Tn’Ya is not suited to be a mechanic. Mi’Ka used her connections to review her job aptitude and assessment test results and though she qualified for most jobs, what stood out was, computer system or network administrator, which would probably be too sensitive a position to be comfortable for the CA, which left tailor, chef, and fabricator. A fabricator would complement a mechanic well, and although the mining camps have their own fabricators, there are certain parts that the mechanics have to have made in Nu’Tn due to the materials involved and the complexity of the part. Mi’Ka floated the fabricator thought toward Tn’Ya and both Tn’Ya and P’Ko received it warmly.
Now for the bio-mods, Nu’Tn fabricators need little by way of bio-mods. Their jobs need little biological tweaking, nearsighted visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and short term memory speed along with bandwidth. Attention to detail could make it difficult, to try to hide certain things from Tn’Ya and feed other things to her. Mi’Ka considered attempting to change the job choice, and float another option, but it was too late.
While she was second guessing the job choice, Tn’Ya and P’Ko had been solidifying the job choice and getting excited about the prospects of working together. She’d should have been more careful.
It was time to guide Tn’Ya and P’Ko as an observer toward thoughts concerning gender mods. The subject was a bit more conflicted. Tn’Ya wants anything that makes her more attractive to P’Ko. Mi’Ka detected from Tn’Ya thoughts of exaggerated gender-mods, more pronounced than Su’Zi’s.
Her thoughts being that she could win over some of the physical attraction P’Ko displays for Su’Zi. But Tn’Ya was missing, at least in part, some of the most important driving or motivating factors behind P’Ko’s attention to Su’Zi, those that have nothing to do with physical attributes. In thinking this Tn’Ya, completely missed many of the intricacies of interpersonal relationships and love that have nothing to do with physical attributes. Mi’Ka needed to help Tn’Ya decide what gender mods she would be happy and satisfied with.
What was left out of this scenario was that with most sex mods the mentor, or mentors, advise their pupils on what should make them happy. Tn’Ya wants what will make P’Ko happy, not what P’Ko and Su’Zi think will be good for Tn’Ya.
For this to work Mi’Ka needed to discover what would make Tn’Ya attractive to P’Ko, without P’Ko realizing it. Then, hopefully at the same time, let Tn’Ya experience or consider the mod, from her perspective and decide if she likes it or not. Were it not for P’Ko, Mi’Ka sensed that Tn’Ya would have leaned towards the male gender instead of female or could have even become U’Ne.
Once Mi’Ka nudged Tn’Ya into mentally trying on various bio-mods, Tn’Ya soon began to relish the experience. Especially when Mi’Ka allowed Tn’Ya the privilege of sensing P’Ko’s participation.
It was essential that P’Ko participate in this exercise. However, Mi’Ka crafted the presentation of the thought so that P’Ko was unaware that he was viewing Tn’Ya. From P’Ko’s perspective, he only rolled over various female gender mods to himself.
Tn’Ya’s comfort and confidence level grew as the exercise progressed and she became more adept at mentally changing her gender mods shapes and sizes. She was getting genuine pleasure, getting a little excited as if it was a preliminary of things Tn’Ya hoped to come later.
P’Ko knew that the psychic reading was intended to include gender-mod selection, but was Mi’Ka successfully kept him unaware that his mental wanderings while he thought he was waiting for that portion of the psychic reading to begin, about the attractiveness of various gender mods, were being used to help guide Tn’Ya’s selection.
In the timeless reading environment, unaware of what was going on. P’Ko started to enjoy the exercise, surprising himself when he became mentally aroused as he visualized his U’Ne friend becoming a tall, slim, attractive female, with gentle curves, undulating with desire.
He began to think that mentoring Tn’Ya wouldn’t be such a difficult task after all. Tn’Ya not shielded from P’Ko’s thoughts swelled with pride, excitement, and anticipation and though Mi’Ka attempted to prevent it, fell deeper in love with P’Ko.

Tn’Ya’s gender mods were much different than Su’Zi’s which would succeed in reducing some of the tension between her and Su’Zi. Since they wouldn’t be competing physical attribute, to physical attribute, one would be exquisite and the other gorgeous. Tn’Ya would be taller, being a U’Te, slimmer, leaner with lighter, suppler, smoother skin, not nearly as strong as Su’Zi but with heightened touch sensitivity, dexterity, and flexibility, the outward displays of her femininity less pronounced. Tn’Ya’s passion for P’Ko is stronger, but Su’Zi’s love for P’Ko deeper and more mature.
Mi’Ka thought that Tn’Ya could benefit from martial arts training, but with her near guarantee of surveillance nano-bots, Martial Arts would be out of the question. Nonetheless, her absolute devotion to P’Ko appears hardcoded into her, and it will make her a force to be reckoned with. Making her a true asset to their virtual being. If, they manage to overcome the fears, jealousies, suspicions, possessiveness and distrust that will stand in their way.
Having achieved the goals of the reading, Mi’Ka slowly brought the participants back, reversing the process; they had started with at the beginning, except that now they felt more refreshed and clear minded with no haunting or underlying questions, all the issues they brought with them in their minds had been resolved.
P’Ko hadn’t at the time thought that he was participating in Tn’Ya’s decision-making process. He only thought that he had been mulling over the possibilities to himself independent of Tn’Ya and Mi’Ka. It was only afterward that he realized that he must have been participating when what he had concluded, supposedly to himself, was also what Tn’Ya and Mi’Ka came up with. Had he considered it more carefully, he would’ve realized that the process was atypical for him; there were none of his usual rounds of second-guessing and doubts.
Tn’Ya was happy and relieved. She had harbored anxiety and apprehension about her supposed necessity to surpass Su’Zi’s gender mods, the thought of life with what she anticipated was needed to best Su’Zi’s artful voluptuousness, had left her feeling overwhelmed and fearful that she could ever get used to them.
She was elated when, and for the first time P’Ko showed an aroused attraction to her and the slim, gently curving almost boyish look she was most comfortable with.
Mi’Ka activated the smart table before them, and the three of them reviewed the job selection and the bio and gender mods. It was settled. They celebrated with a small glass of sparkling punch and P’Ko escorted Tn’Ya home, Tn’Ya, utterly euphoric, strutted at P’Ko’s side.
This turned out to be a difficult time for P’Ko and Su’Zi. P’Ko still had some apprehensions about being Tn’Ya’s mentor, particularly about Su’Zi. Su’Zi, on the other hand, viewed Tn’Ya as a rival for P’Ko’s attentions, and Tn’Ya for her part had no malevolent intent or subterfuge, she just wanted to be part of P’Ko’s life, not necessarily to the exclusion of others.
During the initial meeting between Mi’Ka, P’Ko and Su’Zi to review Tn’Ya’s job choice and bio-mods. Su’Zi became belligerent, she challenged Tn’Ya’s request to be P’Ko’s Lr’Lng. Despite P’Ko’s assurance that they would keep it a Mentor Lr’Lng relationship and emotionally detached.
Mi’Ka was forced to step in to mediate; she began counseling both P’Ko and Su’Zi. Mi’Ka soon realized that P’Ko and Su’Zi had bonded too strongly, too rapidly for a healthy relationship. Unlike Tn’Ya’s open unconditional love for P’Ko; Su’Zi had developed a possessive kind of love, and forced them into the problem they now faced.
Tn’Ya’s job selection and bio-mod requests were submitted, it was good that she had started her plans early, as recommended by the CA. They had nearly a year to work through things. It was trying for P’Ko and Su’Zi and entertaining for Mi’Ka. Who would have guessed that so much had to be done that had nothing to do with Tn’Ya directly? Mi’Ka in her eight hundred plus years of experience could only cite a few examples.
The counseling sessions lasted over many weeks, and included several periods when P’Ko and Su’Zi didn’t see or contact each other. During those breaks Su’Zi and P’Ko returned to their mentors for refresher training on the recreational aspects of sex, and its distinction from love, pair bonding, and birthing.
Mi’Ka’s counseling focused on dealing with Su’Zi and P’Ko’s wants, desires and expectations about each other and their relationship.
It resulted in a cooling and maturing of their relationship, is was hard to accept and very painful at times. But in the end, left them more at ease, comfortable and more confident in themselves and each other. They had weathered a storm that threatened to wreak havoc on their relationship, surviving left them feeling better, stronger, and well balanced in the end.
By the time her counseling with P’Ko and Su’Zi concluded, Mi’Ka felt comfortable that the adjustments made to the virtual being that made up P’Ko and Su’Zi together were healthier and in better shape to handle whatever they may face in the future, including mentoring Tn’Ya and that Tn’Ya would become a valuable addition. The three of them together will have a very broad knowledge and capability background that combined will provide them the wherewithal to achieve things impossible, for each to achieve individually.
The question left is how to ensure the resistances continued secrecy. Mi’Ka was confident of Su’Zi’s ability to guard the resistances secrets psychically, but P’Ko on the other hand, younger, natively U’Te and doubtful of his psychic abilities, he might have more trouble keeping the resistances secrets psychically.
This isn’t a problem yet; P’Ko hasn’t been introduced or even fully indoctrinated yet. There’s no pressing need for P’Ko’s involvement with the resistance, there’s time for P’Ko to mature and train his psychic abilities.
Tn’Ya arrived early at the Nu’Tn apartment that had been requested in the mentoring plan and authorized by the CA. The mentoring sessions P’Ko and Su’Zi had devised had been going well, after a slow, awkward start, they progressed quickly to an advanced academic explanation and familiarization process, then they evolved to the methodology they had now practiced for the last several weeks and were practicing again today.
There was a lot of talk in the beginning about the different aspects of sex, the difference between sex and love, different kinds of love, pair bonding even birthing. Tn’Ya wasn’t too interested in these academic issues, feeling that they should come later, after she had some experience about what was being discussed.
Tn’Ya wasn’t very psychic but got the distinct impression that P’Ko and Su’Zi had a particular interest in these academic parts and wanted to make sure that she knew all about these dry academic topics. With no psychic indicators, she wondered if maybe they were stalling and weren’t sure how to proceed.
Tn’Ya knew when she asked P’Ko that he’d never mentored before and found out later that Su’Zi hadn’t mentored either. So that may explain their uncertainty and delay. She could be patient; she had been waiting and looking forward to this for years.
At first, Su’Zi led the sessions, supported by P’Ko, which then evolved slowly and comfortably into some hands-on that resulted in turn to, playing doctor, learning and discovering how to give and achieve different types of stimulation. Then finally reset, then on to the role-playing that they’re currently practicing.
Each session hosted by one of them, taking turns. The host gets to plan and design the activities of that particular session. The sessions progressed naturally geared to their level of comfort and confidence. As the mentoring sessions improved, the level of satisfaction and fulfillment increased.
Tn’Ya was able to ensure that her first reset was with P’Ko, it wasn’t as private and intimate as she hoped, but she would cherish the moment for the rest of her life.
They had just started turn taking and depending on what was being practiced during the session; it allowed a certain level of physical and psychic privacy. She saw her chance and took it. It wasn’t hard, she had come close to reset many times before, but held back. Then when she had the opportunity and the private moment, she couldn’t hold back, she let herself go; the reset took over her entire being. She lost all sense of herself as the waves of pleasure rippled through her body, and she melted. Then, she felt herself fluid, letting herself engulf P’Ko, holding him with every fiber of her being, P’Ko didn’t resist but allowed himself to be cradled and caressed by her bodiless form until she finally returned to her senses and her body.
There was no possible way she could hide it. P’Ko had to know. He was gentle and kind, and never mentioned it or reprimanded her for going too far. Psychically, P’Ko let her know that he liked it too and that it was to be a cherished memory for both of them and never shared.
If it were possible Tn’Ya’s love, respect, and admiration for P’Ko grew even more.

Su’Zi was apprehensive at first about mentoring Tn’Ya suspecting that Tn’Ya was only interested in further establishing and tightening her grip on P’Ko. Her fears were alleviated a little after she met Tn’Ya in person and diminished even more after the mentoring sessions started and progressed.
Tn’Ya wore her emotions and intentions openly; she was plainly in love with P’Ko, love, which in Su’Zi’s estimation was innocent and immature. Su’Zi almost found herself worrying about P’Ko’s ability to deal with such a devotee; he could easily, accidentally really hurt Tn’Ya’s feelings.
It was evident that Tn’Ya’s was entirely devoted to P’Ko. However, Su’Zi doubted it would stand the test of time; such a young, early love won’t have much chance to survive.
Su’Zi’s sessions, having been mentored by a couple herself; were well-versed on different threesome variations, two on one, one on one assist, one on two, the Y, Delta and others.
All this P’Ko was unfamiliar with, and Su’Zi quietly reveled in the knowledge that she was able to teach P’Ko something new and P’Ko seemed to enjoy every minute of it. She relished being in control and the center of attention.
All too often Su’Zi’s sexual partners insisted or assumed that they were the ones that needed to be in constant control. P’Ko’s preferred style, on the other hand, seemed to be more equal, give-and-take, more like a dance, frequently changing leads often during a single session.
Su’Zi’s fears of Tn’Ya as a future mate rival slowly diminished, and Su’Zi began to take a liking to Tn’Ya. Tn’Ya emotionally very young, totally honest, naïve, innocently and unknowingly seemed susceptible to manipulation and coercion. Contrastingly, Tn’Ya’s strength is her devotion to P’Ko, it is her foundation, she’d self-retire before allowing any harm to come to P’Ko. Su’Zi worried that that love could become a tool or lever the CASS could use to turn Tn’Ya into a weapon against the resistance, especially if the CASS could convince Tn’Ya the resistance meant to harm or intended to use P’Ko in a bad way.
Su’Zi would be sure to add these insights into Tn’Ya’s record, initiated by Mi’Ka, who asked for Su’Zi’s input shortly after Tn’Ya’s reading with P’Ko. Tn’Ya’s attitude toward the CA and the CASS is naïve, as with many other U’Te’s, she has a favorable or at worst ambivalent attitude toward the ship’s command and its enforcement arm. She’s not concerned about being deprived of the knowledge of their intent, or knowing answers to secrets, that if revealed, in her mind, wouldn’t change anything.
Tn’Ya doesn’t realize that secrets in a totalitarian society allow for the exploitation of the people, turns them into mindless tools, devices, little more than machines carrying out the regime’s grand plan... a grand plan that’s not what they say it is.
The point of view of the resistance is that the secrets they’re keeping don’t support the stated goal of delivering Dadr’Ba, its crew, and cargo safely O’M. The resistance suspects something evil and malicious, why else would they be willing to kill to keep the secrets.
____________________________
Mi’Ka’s concern about P’Ko’s ability to compartmentalize himself satisfactorily and be trusted with keeping Resistance secrets, a critically important matter, seems to be unfounded. More than once a partner in the throes of sexual intercourse has let slip private thoughts with disastrous consequences. P’Ko has demonstrated that he has a particular innate control even under the throes of passion.
It’s no easy task to hide things when together, as one, exploring, understanding, giving and taking of each other’s pleasures, searching for, finding, and sometimes even creating a stress or frustration, only to later satisfy it, letting go of inhibitions, then finally losing oneself in a final reset.
Even during their most intense mentoring sessions P’Ko displayed an instinctive ability to, without deceit, keep private that which needs to keep secret and share that which needs to be shared. He possesses a kind of natural psychic modesty that many naturally psychically adept Mi’Nr’s take decades to develop and some never do.
P’Ko doesn’t hide many of these things from Mi’Ka, a trusted, impartial third party; this shows an almost incredible level of psychic control Mi’Ka hadn’t expected. Z’Shi may deserve credit for some of this; Mi’Ka will need to discuss it with her to help figure this puzzle out.

Tonight it was Tn’Ya’s turn to lead the session, and she was to take a risk and do something she had fantasized about for a long time. It was risky and if it didn’t go well could end their relationship. If successful, it would take them to an entirely new level of trust.
P’Ko and Su’Zi, her mentors, arrived together as was their custom, the three of them sat and drank a cup of tea; Tn’Ya had sought out a special tea, which wasn’t psychoactive but was known to create a mood of calmness yet heightened awareness.
At the appropriate time, she revealed the lesson plan for the session. It involved her blindfolding and tying restraints to P’Ko and Su’Zi; then she would be the sole actor during the session.
Tn’Ya explained that her whole life she felt that she had never been in control, never trusted to be in control and that she had been pushed around and taken advantage of all her life. When she met P’Ko that first time and every time since, while she was with P’Ko she felt protected and didn’t fear being taken advantage of.
This session would put her in control of others for the first time in her life. She made it clear that she cared deeply for P’Ko and Su’Zi and that she wouldn’t dream of hurting them, they needed to trust her. She introduced a code word “Tff’Ni”
[96]
but that they would be expected to remain silent, and keep their thoughts to themselves, but if for any reason; if they felt they had to end the session to end all they need to do is to recite “Tff’Ni.”
P’Ko and Su’Zi apprehensively agreed, Tn’Ya dimmed the lights, and while all were still fully dressed, she restrained their arms and legs and blindfolded them. Then waited while the tension built, guarding her mind as strongly as she could to prevent P’Ko and Su’Zi from reading what she intended to do next. She then touched both of them. First one, then the other trying to stay unexpected, heightening the tension, working deliberately to tease, increase their senses and raise their levels of arousal, slowly increasing the amount of contact, eventually rubbing her whole body against theirs.
The feeling of power and control she felt was exhilarating, she began to feel intoxicated, she then undressed them, slowly and carefully, untying an arm or leg as needed to accomplish the task. If one of them tried to reach out, she took hold of them gently and waiting until they relaxed the urge to move or reach.
At this stage, she took the blindfold off P’Ko and Su’Zi having placed a pillow between them so they couldn’t tell that the other could see and then she began to undress, occasionally touching, P’Ko and Su’Zi with a part of her body or clothing she just removed or unveiled.
Once completely naked, she blindfolded P’Ko and moved the pillow to allow Su’Zi to watch as Tn’Ya worked on P’Ko. Nobody called the code word as Tn’Ya slowly and deliberately bought herself and P’Ko to a reset that sent spasms radiating through their bodies, Tn’Ya collapsing on top of P’Ko.
Oblivious to Tn’Ya, Su’Zi also reset, although much milder, just by watching and sensing the psychic energy. Tn’Ya then blindfolded Su’Zi and un-blindfolded P’Ko, allowing P’Ko to watch as Tn’Ya performed on Su’Zi with the same results.
When finished Tn’Ya got a basin of warm water, scented it with a perfume and bathed first P’Ko, then Su’Zi and finally herself. She then unbound them, satisfied and exhausted she lay down between P’Ko and Su’Zi and they all slept.
The session had lasted many hours, which meant it wasn’t long before Su’Zi had to go to work. Tn’Ya and P’Ko got up and saw her off.
Everyone was in an excellent mood. They drank strong tea while discussing the night’s session, ending with a toast. It was an entirely new experience for them all, allowing each to experience and recognize new aspects of themselves, challenging and opening in certain real ways capabilities of trust and relinquishment within themselves that they had never experienced or exercised before.
As Su’Zi left for work, her parting comment was “don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” And not long after Tn’Ya and P’Ko were having for the first time, their own session. Yet, they both could feel Su’Zi’s presence psychically.
