“Stop the torture, Kayla, and take me inside you,” his voice crackled with need.

Kayla rotated her hips, slowly taking the tip of him inside of her. The moment she did, panic rose. “Wait, we need protection,” she breathed out.

Ian shook his head. “Look at me, Kayla.”

Kayla looked at him, but she was not going to have sex with him without protection. It was too risky with all the STDs out in the world today. She would not lose her virginity to a man if he didn’t wear protection. She moved to get up, but his hands on her hips stopped her.

“Look at me, Kayla,” he whispered, making her stare deeply into his eyes. “We don’t need protection. Now make love to me.”

Kayla nodded and threw her head back as she took another inch of him within her body. She thought that from the size of him it would hurt, but the only thing she felt was a desire to have his entire length deep within her.

His hands gripped her waist. She could feel his body shaking under hers. Again, the need arose. Kayla felt surprised that she could have this type of effect on someone like Ian. His nails bit into her waist, making her hiss and take him deeper.

“Are you all right so far?” his voice a mere whisper now.

“Yes.”

She felt more than all right, she craved more. Instead of drawing out the need any longer, she gripped his shoulders and took his entire length. She dropped her head to his shoulders, breathing hard.

When Ian came over tonight, he didn’t know what to expect. He wanted to talk to her, get to know her more, but as they watched the movie, he could detect her arousal rising every moment. When she kissed him, he couldn’t deny her a release. His plans were to give her a release with his fingers, which he had, then get back to the movie.

He was beginning to figure out that things didn’t go as planned. The moment her orgasm hit, he knew that he wouldn’t be able to stop until they both were satisfied.

Kayla happened to crawl into his heart in such a short time, and he doubted that he would be able to walk away from her.

Ian held back with all his might the moment she took him deeper. Her pussy was so tight around him, so wet that he slid easily in her slick sheath. He didn’t want to do the mind control about the protection, but he didn’t want to get into a fight with her because he refused to use protection. Later on, once he told her who he was, then she would understand why they didn’t need it. Vampires didn’t carry diseases and they couldn’t get anyone pregnant.

“Move slowly, Kayla. I don’t know how long I am going to last inside of you.”

Kayla moved with the help of his hands on her hips. Once she set her own pace, he lay back on the bed, letting her take over her own movements.

Oh, God. Hot!

She was so hot and wet around him, her own juices lubricating her depths and allowing her to move easily on his shaft.

The walls of her pussy clamped around him, and it was almost his undoing. He gritted his teeth, every muscle in his body tightening with the need for release. He held himself still, giving himself time to enjoy the feel of her wrapped around him like a hot glove.

Ian’s body shook hard with need. The sense of being overwhelmed brushed against every nerve in his body. His hand moved to her ass, squeezing it as she ground against him. Desperation rode him harder, trying to make him take control. He needed relief, but he needed her to cum first.

She moved faster, her breath coming in short pants let him know she was close to cumming again, and he was close to his own release.

Ian sat up, grabbed her, and flipped them until she lay on her back. He looked down into her brown eyes seeing the need for release there.

He grabbed her hand, held them above her head as he took her deeper, faster. He took control of the rhythm, pumping his cock into her, pressing against her g-spot with every thrust.

Kayla squirmed under him. She made these cute little moaning noises that turned him on more. His orgasm rose quickly as her body started to move under him, matching his movements.

He didn’t slow down. He leaned down, pressing his lips against her neck. His fangs had emerged and he needed to taste her. Instead of biting, he kissed her neck, sucking her warm skin into his mouth.

“Cum for me, Kayla,” he murmured against her neck.

“I’m so close.”

Ian released her hands, gripped her leg and lifted it more so he could drive deeper. He felt her hands on his sides tightened before her body finally gave in to his need. Her nails dug into his sides, causing painful pleasure as her body began to release around him. With each pulse of her pussy, his cock throbbed harder, releasing his seeds deep inside her.

Ian stopped moving when their bodies stopped shivering. His cock was still hard, but he would wait before he took her again. It was almost midnight and he could take her once maybe twice more before he had to go out patrolling. He wanted her to get some rest.

Ian moved the loose strands from her face. “Are you okay?”

“More than okay.”

“I’m glad.”

Ian moved from her body, pulling her into his arms.

Kayla wanted to scream out in frustration when her doorbell rang moments later.

“Expecting anyone?” Ian asked her.

“No, but I guess I better answer it.”

Ian released her. She climbed out of the bed, grabbed her discarded dress from the floor and slipped it on. She looked back after hearing movement. Ian had also got out of bed and started to dress. She didn’t want him to get dressed yet. She wanted to be with him again before he had to leave.

Kayla heard her cell phone ringing. She stopped to pick it up then proceeded to go downstairs.

“Wait, Kayla,” Ian stopped her.

“Why? What’s wron—”

Her words were cut short at the sound of the balcony door glass shattering. A large, black wolf charged Ian.

“Ian!” she screamed.

Suddenly, the beast knocked Ian to the ground.

Kayla screeched as the creature bit down into Ian’s chest.

“Run, Kayla,” Ian yelled before bucking the wolf off him.

Kayla watched in horror as Ian stood, bloody chest and all, and charged the wolf. This wolf wasn’t an ordinary beast. This animal was three times larger than any wolf she had ever seen pictures of.

Kayla moved to go help Ian when the wolf snarled and walked closer to him. The brute had to weigh a ton because when he moved over her wood floors they creaked from the weight. She looked at the beast, then Ian. This wolf would kill Ian, she was sure he would.

“Kayla, get out of here!” Ian screamed for her to run, but she couldn’t move.

The beast turned its head and let out a furious roar at her, making her fall to the bed when she moved in Ian’s direction. Kayla watched something she never thought she would see in her life. Ian howled like a beast before his eyes turned red like a blaze of fire. He opened his mouth and his teeth grew long in his mouth.

What the hell was Ian?

The wolf growled and charged Ian. They both crashed together in the middle of the room. Kayla couldn’t see what was happening after that. They moved quickly as they fought. She heard growling, snarling and cracking of her furniture as they broke it into pieces.

Suddenly, everything went quiet after a faint cry of pain. Kayla watch as Ian stood over the beast, his arm around the wolf’s throat, its head turned at an angle that she knew meant it was dead. As the creature fell to the floor, it transformed into a naked male.

“What the hell was that?” Kayla demanded. “And what the fuck are you, Ian?”

Ian turned around, his body covered in blood.

She stepped back as he moved towards her. “Stay away from me!” Her hand shook as she held it up to block him.

“Are you all right?”

“What
are
you?” she asked again through clenched teeth.

“I didn’t want you to find out this way, Kayla. You mean so much to me, and the last thing I wanted to do was to hurt you.”

Kayla climbed off the bed when he reached for her. Her heartbeat doubled. “Ian! Tell me!”

“I’m a vampire, Kayla. Yes, a real live vampire, and I want you to become my mate.”

Kayla felt tears in her eyes. She didn’t believe in vampires and werewolves, and yet, what was this thing standing in front of her? He had fangs and his eyes glowed like fire. Were vampires real? “And that was a werewolf right?” She pointed to the dead man on her floor.

“Yes, this wolf had been killing female humans. That’s why I came here.”

“So you came here to fuck me to get a werewolf?”

“What—no, I didn’t know you were here.”

“So you used some mind control on me?”

“Well…”

“I knew it!” she yelled. “You messed with my mind. You made me give up my virginity to you! Is that what you vampires do? Go around mind controlling females and taking their virginities?”

“Kayla, it’s not like that at all. I didn’t do anything to your mind that made you want me. I promise you. I did mess with your mind only when you wanted to use protection. I never would use protection with you. I have fallen for you.”

“Fallen for me?” she snorted. “Yeah, right. What are you going to do, kill me now that I know what you are?”

“Why would I kill you? I care for you.”

When he moved closer to her, she jumped back. “Don’t fucking touch me.” Kayla snatched her keys off the nightstand and picked up her phone from the bed.

“Kayla, where are you going?”

Kayla didn’t know what to do, but she knew she couldn’t call the police and tell them that she had a dead man in her home that was killed by a vampire. They would put her in the nut house for the rest of her life.

“Look, vampire, I am leaving. Get that…” she pointed to the body, “out of here, and get the hell out of my life. I’m going to pretend you don’t exist.”

“I can’t just go away, Kayla, not after what we shared.”

“We didn’t share anything. I am pissed off right now, and I want you to leave me the hell alone. Get it out, and get out of my home. Now! ”

With that said, she walked past Ian. She was more scared than angry, but she couldn’t let Ian know. She had just watched him kill that man…what would he do to her?

Chapter 6

Ian called the Council to inform them that they had a cleanup. They got there in less than twenty minutes.

He walked around the room, picking up broken items, trying to see what he could salvage. He and that wolf had done a real number on the room. Broken glass, holes in the walls, and cracked floors were only the beginning. It would take a lot of repairs to fix the room.

Ian kneeled, picking up a picture of Kayla. She stood in front of her business, smiling. His finger framed her face. This human had climbed into his heart in less than twenty-four hours. Could he really be this in love with her? Kayla felt right in his life. She was the part of him he had been looking for.

“Mr. Delancy, did the wolf bite you?” a guy from the cleanup crew asked.

Ian shook his head. The wolf had tried, but he was able to keep his fangs away from him. If the wolf had bitten him, it could have killed him. Wolf bites could kill vampires and vice versa.

“Good, good. Then we will dispose of the body.”

“Thanks.” Ian watched as two men from the cleanup crew took the dead body out in a black bag.

He needed to go out and find Kayla. He didn’t know where she had run off too, but he decided to give her time to get over the anger. Since she hadn’t taken her car, he knew that she couldn’t have gone far on foot. Being told that vampires and werewolves did exist could be very overwhelming to humans.

He had wanted to tell her of his secret of being a vampire, but not so soon. He intended on slowly easing her into knowing what he was. Yes, he knew he should have done that before taking her virginity, but how could he deny her what she wanted?

Just thinking about how good Kayla felt when they made love was nothing he experienced before. He was almost six-hundred and fifty years old, and never had he had mind-blowing sex like he had with Kayla. Maybe mates were real. Maybe Kayla was his mate, and they were meant to be together until the end of time.

At first, he never thought of turning a human, but now he wanted Kayla by his side for all times.

“You all right, brother?” Logan asked as he walked into the room.

Ian blinked a couple of times, trying to figure out how to explain to Logan what just happened. He laid the picture on the bed. “This werewolf fucked up my life.”

“How so?”

“I had sex with Kayla, and before you ask, yes my pipes still work, and this wolf came through the door, causing me to change in front of Kayla.”

“And I’m assuming she didn’t take it well?”

“Not at all. She rushed out of here.”

“What about mind control—”

“No, I will not do that to her again.”

Logan lifted an eyebrow at him. “Again? Was that wolf being truthful about you doing mind control on Kayla?”

Ian growled at his brother. How dare he accuse him of doing mind control on someone for attention. “Hell no! I’m talking about when we were making love. She wanted to use protection, and I pushed her so she would not think about it.”

“Oh, I see. Well if she doesn’t forgive you, you may have to.”

“No, brother. No matter how long it takes, I will not use any mind control on her. She will forgive me sooner or…” Ian stopped speaking the moment he felt fear. Not his fear, but Kayla’s fear.

During their lovemaking they shared more than just their bodies, they shared their minds. They would forever be connected to each other no matter how far they were apart. Kayla was his mate, and he had to go save her.

“What’s wrong, Ian?”

“Kayla’s in trouble.” Ian didn’t say another word. He raced out of her home and into the woods.

Ian raced through the woods, following the calling of his mate. Something had scared her and he would kill whatever it was. He stopped when the connection was lost. Logan stopped beside him.

“What’s wrong, brother?”

“I don’t know. I don’t feel the connection any longer.”

Ian didn’t want to think about what might have happened. For him to not feel the connection meant that Kayla might be dead. He refused to believe that he has lost his mate when he just found her. Kayla couldn’t be dead. He couldn’t lose her. He wouldn’t lose her.
